We had the best time with our stay!! House is spotless and had the perfect set up for our group of 5 teens and 5 Mom’s! Doug was very informative with my reservation from beginning to end and went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!

A bar b q grill was advertised, couldn’t use it because it was all rusted out. Only 4 patio chairs when it sleeps 10. Needs a comfortable chair

This location is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, with quick access to a grocery, several restaurants, shopping, and a theater. It was a very comfortable home with several updates. We did not use the kitchen (just the coffee maker) but it had everything you would need to prepare meals. All in all, it was what we needed for the two days we spent in Colorado Springs. We would recommend this home for your stay.

Host is prompt to answer questions. Great property for our needs. Saw Garden of the Gods 2 days and local attractions were 15-20 min away. Kitchen had all the basics like pots and pans. Beds and rooms were as described. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Our family of 7 (adults & 5 children aged 6-13) stayed here for a week and it was an amazing experience. The house was perfect for all of us and very clean. It was also nice having two bathrooms. The kids enjoyed playing in the backyard with some kickball/volleyballs that were in the garage in our downtime. They knocked it over the fence and the neighbor was very friendly allowing them to retrieve it. The back deck was also very nice. No bugs/mosquitos/gnats at all, which is not something we're used to, so that was amazing. The neighborhood was very established and quiet. We did all the touristy things while in CS (Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Royal Gorge, Zoo, Gold Mine Tour, Mueller State Park) and the house was fairly centrally located to all of it. There is also a grocery store and Target just down the street from the house which was very convenient. Doug checked in on us (via VRBO, not in person) to ensure the stay was going well and making sure we didn't need anything. Would definitely recommend/rent again if we were in the area.

We needed a large home to attend graduation. House was very nice with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. With a living room on each level. House was only 10 to 15 min from the South gate of the academy. If you need a large home in a central location this definitely fit our need.

The owner was a great communicator, and he checked with us to make sure everything was okay during our stay. The house had lots of space, which was really nice for our group size. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. and it had everything we needed for cooking our dinners. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay!

We traveled from MO for a family vacation for my parents 40th anniversary. This house was perfect! It was close to all of the things we wanted to do. It was very clean and safe for our 2 year old. The location also felt very safe. The owner is quick to respond to any messages and the check in and out process was fast and easy. 10/10 would recommend.

I thought the location and the house were all fine. We enjoyed out stay and having a house to come back to after days out doing touristy things. Just had a couple issues that I would like to convey. We had two light bulbs go out while we were there with no way of replacing them and didn't have a bath mat in the upstairs bathroom. One of the kitchen chairs had a broken leg. The upstairs bathroom door is very tight and hardly closed and the two upstairs bedroom doors were the same but not as bad. It was very hot in the upstairs and we didn't want to run the cooler that was in the window because when we did, it blew dirt in. The outside filter definitely needs to be cleaned; there is caked dirt in it.

Excellent location for visiting tourist attractions. Owner was conscientious about our needs throughout our stay. Very prompt in fixing a minor problem. Only drawback was the kids could not work the TV downstairs…Needed adult to make it work. Overall, a great week. Would stay there again.

This two level house is great for families with children. The kids played downstairs while the adults were able to converse upstairs. The table had chairs for 8 people. The only real issue we had was the dryer went out and we had to go to a laundromat to do our laundry. Fortunately there was one just a few blocks away. The plus side of that was we got the laundry done a lot quicker. The host was also kind enough to allow us to invite other family members over for a meal. Some minor issues we had were the garage door opener didn’t work, there were no extra trash bags or dish towels, and not enough hooks or towel racks to hang wet towels. Overall, we had a wonderful and pleasant stay.

This house had everything we needed for a two week stay. The location was very nice and centrally located to all the things we needed. Our host was very responsive when we had a minor leak in the kitchen sink. He had someone fix it right away. I would definitely rent this house again.

What a pleasant surprise! This house is fantastic on the inside with a fully-stocked kitchen and tasteful decor. Our family of five had plenty of room. The house is also very close to Garden of the Gods and USAFA and it provided a great central hub for exploring the region. Doug was also great at communicating. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the region.

My family of 6 stayed in this house for a short stay in CS. We loved how much room there is to spread out and how nice everything is. Doug was always responsive and helpful for any questions we had before and during our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, with a lovely view of the mountains, especially at sunset. There is a Safeway grocery store only a mile away, which was awesome because we tried to eat all our meals at the house. The a/c is an attic fan, which was new to us, but we quickly navigated it with the helpful posted signs and instructions. We loved our stay (we drove Pikes Peak, visited Garden of the Gods, and spent arcade time in Manitou Springs), and we would definitely visit again and stay in this same house if it were available.

We were here for our son’s graduation from the Air Force academy. The house was in an excellent location to get to events for grad week and the bedroom set up worked so well for our family. The host was excellent to work with, communicated quickly and met all needs we had.

The house was perfect for us as there were two living areas, upstairs and downstairs. We had 3 small families . Most of the house was newly renovated. Nice neighbors. A lot of stores and restaurants are close by. The owner/host was very gracious.

Our experience was wonderful! The house is very clean and modern. It was comfortable and inviting. It was our first time renting VRBO and we will definitely be doing again. It was so nice to let the kids play without having to worry about the noice levels of guest above or below us. It was also wonderful to have a washer and dryer available as well as the full kitchen. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone!
