It is a beautiful home right quite literally right on the beach. We had a great time. The downstairs bedroom is really a game room so not sure how well that works - but we used 4 bedrooms that were each very nicely furnished. The only real annoyance was a neighbor's dog barking for hours and hours - but that is hardly the fault of the VRBO owner. I would happily stay again.

A group of 10 of us stayed at this house for a ladies weekend away… It was all that we could’ve asked for… Plenty of room and sleeping areas for everybody, nice, large bathroom spaces, a hot tub, a great kitchen, for entertaining, and just a great place overall. Loved the outdoor decks also! We will definitely return here.

This property was perfect for my birthday gathering. It has all the amenities you could want and big bedrooms. It was perfect for adults to share. There are parking restrictions (only 4 cars) that you are not told about until a few days before you arrive. This house has easy access to a very beautiful beach and wonderful views from every floor. It was a wonderful house to share with friends.

This was our second time we have stayed. It is our favorite. We love having private access to the beach. It accommodates a family of 12 comfortably. The only issue we had was the dining table is too large to play board games, so we used the island which was inconvenient when trying to prepare meals. I'll be bringing my card tables next time, definitely will be another stay at this house again. My family loves staying there.

Beautiful, expensive property in lovely location that sleeps many, but can only handle four cars and has neighbors who very clearly do not want a VRBO property there. The information about strict parking, the 7+ pages of rules and regulations were not made available until after it was too late to cancel with a refund. A text about parking from the management company at almost midnight was unsettling and disruptive and put a large cloud over an otherwise lovely weekend with friends who came from all over to be together.

Great location but house is lacking some necessary items
First off, if you have issues climbing stairs this isn’t the place for you. Very steep and slippery stairs so be careful! 2 flights to the game room! Considering the price of this place I expected a few more amenities, like a cake pan (we had planned to bake a birthday cake and couldn’t) a working can opener, steak knives for more than 4 people (we had to share), and decent sized bath towels (these were cheap, tiny and rough). We had to purchase propane for the bbq because it was empty, and we didn’t want to wait dinner for someone to bring us more. The dishwasher leaked water all over the floor, but we discovered the garbage disposal was plugged and the so it couldn’t drain (we weren’t the ones to plug it, we didn’t even use it) Once we unplugged it, it worked ok. However the location is beautiful with its private access to the beach. The guys enjoyed playing pool and hanging out downstairs (though having some glasses stocked downstairs would have been nice because it’s two flights of stairs every time you need something from the kitchen). The beds were decent and nice bedding. The issues we had didn’t take away from our experience, but we thought some improvements could be made.

Perfect for a family vacation
My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandchildren, ages 13 and 11 stayed a week at Crown Jewel. We chose this property for the view and the pool table and hot tub. It was perfect! We could have had another family with us and still had room. The property was very nicely appointed with lovely bedding and comfortable furniture. I read some reviews stating that the kitchen wasn't equipped as well as it should have been. Since we drove to the property, I brought some of my favorite pans and knives. TOTALLY unneeded. The kitchen didn't lack anything we needed. The sauna and steam shower got used daily. I was surprised how quiet the house was. When people were on the top floor the didn't disturb anyone sleeping on the second floor.
Meredith Lodging was an excellent management company. I have stayed at expensive properties where the management company gives you minimal supplies. So I am spending my valuable vacations time shopping for toilet paper. We had plenty of everything we needed. Also when we got to the property we received a text from Meredith Lodging so I knew they were just a text away if I needed something.

Family Christmas at the Beach
Wonderful property! Our family spent the weekend at the house and didn’t get back into our cars until we left. The house was perfect for ocean views and roomy enough for all of us. The only drawback might be that there were lots of stairs. If you’re older or not in good physical shape that might be a concern. We all looked at it as a good workout!
We would certainly recommend this property and hope to be able to visit again.

You will not find a better beach house
Massive three story house with all the amenities you’ll ever need for a perfect beach vacation (huge living room, second family room, two master suites and two jack and Jill rooms all with king size beds, high-end kitchen, hot tub, sauna, steam shower, pool table, wet bar, fire pit, three different balconies, RIGHT on the beach). We will never stay anywhere else on the Oregon coast.

Luis helped us find the perfect house for our group of exchange students, he was attentive and very quick to respond to questions. The house was immaculate, and with great weather there was so much to do. The view is beyond amazing, and such a quick walk to the beach. The kitchen amenities were not very robust, some basic salt and things like that. They did have a coffee Keurig and some pods to use and that was great, plus a regular coffee pot. The TV's were a little confusing to work, and there weren't separate towels for the hot tub. Honestly none of things changed our amazing weekend, just good information to know ahead of time. We will be back because Crown Jewel was truly a jewel on the Oregon Coast

We got this house with friends for a crabbing trip. The house was perfectly cleaned, well maintained. Hot tub and sauna were both working great! Earlier this summer we booked this home for a big friends and family get together. There were a dozen of us, half kids and half adults. And without a doubt, we were all as pleased with the house as you could possibly be. Heaps of space, great views, easy beach access, clean, comfortable, quality appliances, plenty of towels and linens, the whole bit. There really was not a single complaint or gripe about the entire experience. No doubt booking a big property remotely can be a little nerve wracking, but the minute we walked in the door of this house, any and all trepidations evaporated. Thumbs up all the way.
