The staff was very polite and friendly and tried to help with everything
Someone's hair is on My bed and on the walls in the bathroom. Age-old dust on the coffee machine and TV remote control is an example. Leaving half-used toilet paper in someone's room is such a solution.

Location was great, host was responsive, on-site staff were very helpful, nice bathroom and water pressure in the shower.
Comfortable room but sort of felt like a dorm room.

No breakfast supplied.
Should have been told that our room was in the basement.
Should have been told that there is only parking for 3 cars at the front, and very tight space for only 2 cars at the rear, this from a premises with about 25 rooms!! who advertise as having car parking!!!
See above!

the staff are obnoxious and rude

Very clean, comfortable and the check in is easy and clearly explained. Facilities are modern, comfy and lots of nice little additions in there.

Lovely pressure on the shower.
Room heating was easy to adjust and function.
New way to check in- no need for keys
The room we had, had a weird set up.
Sink is outside the bathroom. Not too far from the television, in consideration on how strong the water pressure can be on the sink if not careful. as it splashed all over the room when I first used it.
Shower was only covered by a glass halfway.. therefore, after shower. had to dry up the place.

Very nice quiet location in the south suburbs of Dublin. Relatively clean. Easy access of the accomodation and the room with codes.
The method of payment (telephone card charge) . It takes a long walk, a bus or a taxi for the Dublin centre. Relatively small room.

Staff was kind and allowed me to check in early as it was very cold.
My Room was right under the hallway, so I was disturbed everytime anybody came in or went out of the property.
Also bad smell from bathroom

The room was cosy, at least initially.
After a few hours in the room I began to smell an unmerciful odor of urine. By day 2, it was so bad that I complained to the B&B. Instead of sending someone to investigate (which ultimately proved to be a huge mistake - and I should have demanded it), they let me sleep another night in the room without anyone coming to freshen the room or anything of that sort. Think about having clothes and pillows that fell off the bed on top of a soiled area of the carpet. Disgusting! Had to bring my clothes to the laundromat the following day. I was offered a 10% refund which was later increased to 15%. The following day they checked the room and couldn't smell anything. Ended up in a he-said she-said over the matter and they maintain that two staff members couldn't smell anything, one of which was with me and was smelling the furniture (like what?). She then agreed with me that there was a smell - only to change her story after when speaking with her manager. Something about feeling uncomfortable. What a shambles. It was left at that, and I wouldn't stay there again if I was paid to.

Very small room. Some food options would have been nice.

The location was good and the room was basic but adequate and access to the Guest House was handled fairly well
The lack of information in the room and extreme difficulty in contacting the off side support team when we had a problem with the shower extractor not switching off with the light switch. Crazy system where you had to manually screw the extractor fan in to stop it running through the night. We only found this out when finally we got through to the support telephone number and a man came and showed us. Why this could not have been handles over the phone we don't know! Also what a daft extractor system.
