The property was perfect for our relay team, post race. Indulgent, beautiful and spacious. Joann was very helpful in getting us to the property and situated. Wish we had more time to enjoy this amazing property. My only wish to make our stay perfect would have been stronger wifi in Villa Monticello - we had some connection difficulties. All in all it was a great way to celebrate our race, pamper ourselves and relax.

I held a corporate offsite for my team here with the goals of getting some time for strategic thinking away from the office distractions as well as some time for the team to get to know each other better. I wanted something different than just getting a hotel and a conf room. Mission Accomplished. We spent three days at the property and stayed there the entire time. We stocked up at Safeway in St Helena and cooked all the meals ourselves and got to have some fun playing bocce ball before dinner, which was a good experience. We held our meetings in the living room of Villa Monticello, which worked great. Very well lit room with views of the surrounding vineyards. We plugged into the TV with our laptops and took notes on flip charts. I was a little concerned about how far apart the two houses were, and the number of full baths available, but it was really no problem during our stay. I think three days was the optimum amount of time here since it is so remote, and will definitely consider coming back here as long as we bring < 9 people. Also, the renters were extremely professional, courteous and accommodating. The property was perfectly clean upon our arrival and the beds were very comfortable as well.

The stay was wonderful. We had a large group and divided ourselves among the 2 villas. It was a quick and easy trip between the 2 homes which were both well equipped.

Everything we great except the air conditioning didn’t really work in one of the houses. Unfortunately, it was 100+ degrees so it did get rather warm. Owner was super nice and did everything they could to get it taken care of. There were many fans and stuff and a whole over house so it wasn’t too bad.

Roy was a very gracious host and his 2 Italian-inspired villas were a great place for a group of 15 friends to gather for the weekend. There are 3 main bedrooms and 1 converted bedroom in each house that are all comfortable. Take advantage of the outdoor entertaining areas—it’s perfect at any time of day or night. Get ready to see the Milky Way when the stars come out! It’s not too far from the vineyards in Rutherford/Napa either. We booked a driver to get to and from a wedding, which made things easy. Thank you Roy!
