The stay was relaxing. The host made sure made sure we had everything we needed. It was a lovely spot. We hung out on the porch most of the time. The hike to the falls is very rugged so watch every step going down. Wear proper foot wear. The falls and river were so peaceful. The property was a great place to relax.

A nice place to get away. Beautiful ❤️

This cabin was very clean, comfortable, and had the BEST view/sounds of the rushing river. The short walk to the falls was easy and rewarded with a beautiful view. We were so happy to find a place that was dog friendly, too. Everything that we needed was there. We'd love to come again.

A lovely, relaxing time for my friend and me during a virtual retreat. We really enjoyed the natural beauty and peace of the location and the quality of the lodging. Sitting on the screened in porch to the calming sound of the river and walking around to see the significant waterfall were serious bonuses!
Our wish list suggestions for improvement: either post a sign at the final turn into the property, or inform people to turn where there is that one sign (something Brae?) --we were confused as was the GPS; please put at least one screen in a window of the bedroom without AC (thank goodness it wasn't hot); a few more kitchen "basics" would help, like a toaster.
Thank you!

We had a great getaway at the Lehigh Lodge! Enjoyed fishing and all the surrounding area has to offer. Lodge was tidy, cozy and peaceful. Our host was very hospitable and helpful-thanks so much!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin for our 24th anniversary. The cabin was beautifully designed with cozy furnishings and all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a peaceful escape from the chaos of everyday life, I highly recommend booking a stay at this wonderful cabin.

The location was great, a cute cabin. Cleanliness was poor, dead bugs on the window cills, dishes were not clean in the kitchen. Floors were dusty in all corners, mold in the keurig, several light bulbs were burnt out. (They were replaced the next morning) the shower curtain needed to be washed and the duvet cover was not clean. All in all, we had a nice relaxing stay.

Fishing great! Relaxing time. A ceiling fan on the porch and in both bedrooms would be a plus. Maybe even another AC unit in the living room.

The hardest thing to do was having to pack up and leave this place. From the plush towels to the comforting beds to the cozy living room to the sounds of the river and birds outside...it felt a privilege to stay here for a few nights. Our family was grateful to experience the magic of this place.

The linens were top quality- everything in excellent t working order- I loved the screened in porch and the sound of the flowing River. The host was very responsive to my questions. We decided to get away for our 30th anniversary last minute and stumbled across this amazing place. We finally had a chance to get away and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. We lucked out with the weather it was so beautiful. We are planning another trip in the fall for my birthday. Hopefully we can make it.

My wife and I both wanted to spend Memorial Day weekend and the start of summer away from the dinn of traffic, merchants and overconsumption that accompanies what were once commemorative holidays. This property fit the bill. All of my contact was with “Lacy” the owner who lives nearby and was readily accessible through text as well as very knowledgeable as to the history of the area, places to dine etc. The house had all the quiet comforts and we plan to stay there again. If you truly want to get away from the madness and be pleasantly undisturbed this meets the bill

We stayed at the lodge for our honeymoon in 2015. We have been going through a lot losing older parents dogs etc. so I surprised my wife with a weekend getaway back to the lodge where we could just relax and unwind. Sat down by the river and totally relaxed. Exactly what we needed

We had another tranquil stay here at the Lehigh Lodge. The only sounds we heard were of nature, crickets, birds and the relaxing sound of the river quietly flowing through the backyard. This is our new “go to” place whenever we feel the need to unplug.

When it rains, nature turns the volume up on the brook in the back. The whole experience was calm. The property is well set up. Beds are comfortable. Really nice screened in porch to relax, read, nap, eat.

We rented 3 river homes and enjoyed every minute of our stay! Perfect for a family reunion, gathering from Maryland, Texas, and California to our family’s favorite vacation spot!
We love the river view from the Lodge and the peacefulness and history in the historic area. The river and the Falls are beautiful!! The Hosts were wonderful! We hope to return again soon! Thanks for the friendly welcome! Ann

We had a wonderful anniversary weekend on the banks of the Lehigh River. We had our dog, Lizzie with us and she also had a great time. We hiked two local nature preserves, as well as explored the waterfalls a short walk from the cabin.
We also had a couple of great dinners at Lake Harmony. Adam and Lacy were great hosts and we hope to be back!

It is a nice cabin, you can hear the river and the breeze I loved, the truth is that the atmosphere is very relaxing.

What a wonderful property. Even when it was thunder storming out, it was still such a wonderful experience. The amenities were great, the host did everything to ensure convenience and comfort. Comfy beds. Big couch. Pots and pans etc.. the only thing to note is that there is only 1 AC in the main bedroom. BUT having the doors open and fans on made it a comfortable temperature. Overall, definitely 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This lodge overlooking the river is the perfect spot to get away for a week or just a long weekend. The scenery is peaceful and we slept with the windows open so we could hear the rushing water. We spent a lot of quiet time reading on the back screened in porch, hiking around the local area or fishing. We caught 5 different species of fish in the river: smallmouth, largemouth, rainbow trout, brook trout and even a massive bluegill. With no one else around fishing, these fish were active and hungry! Other woods wildlife in the area were plentiful: birds, chipmunks, rabbits, deer, a bear and the nightly flyover by the bald eagle. The fire pit and grill got a lot of use for dinners and S'mores every night. We'll definitely be back.

My wife and I celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary here and spent the week at the cabin. Everything was perfect, including the guidance from the owners when we had questions. The cabin was spotless and the view was spectacular! We spent a number of days just sitting on the porch overlooking the river. We will be back!
We have stayed at a number of homes in the Blakeslee/Lake Harmony area of the Poconos over the past 20 years. This is by far one of the best houses we've been to.

We had a wonderful time at The Lodge. The cottage was so charming and perfectly apportioned with everything you need. We enjoyed breakfast each morning on the screened in porch and had a campfire under the stars in the evening. Lacy even left delicious baked goods and s’mores ingredients to enjoy! We absolutely loved exploring the grounds, hiking to the waterfall and meeting the goats. All this plus we got to bring our dog along too. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a peaceful getaway!

The Lehigh Lodge is a precious little gem. The location is private, the view and sound of the Lehigh River is so tranquil and relaxing. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch enjoying the view. From the moment we walked in the door we felt at home. The welcome snacks of chocolate chip cookies, mini scones and muffins under a glass cloche were a sweet surprise. The thick, fluffy bathroom towels were a luxury not usually found in rentals or hotels. The wonderful bathroom amenities provided were very much appreciated as we had left our toiletries bag at home by mistake. The shower is small but adequate-the bathroom is so cute, we didn’t mind. The beds were very comfortable. Between the sound of flowing water and the cozy bed, we slept wonderfully. We enjoyed reading the rare antique books in the lodge. When the weather turned chilly, we moved indoors and enjoyed a fire in the fireplace. The owners have lovingly thought out every detail of the finishes in the lodge. The butcher block counter top and leaded glass cabinet doors, the porcelain door knobs, the beautiful wood throughout really immerses you in the feeling of a cabin in the woods yet has modern amenities such as a keurig (and k cups provided),a Fire tv and WiFi. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. We can’t wait to return!

Planned a weekend couples get away with my husband, sister and brother in law. Stayed here previously many times, booked by a family member and ourselves over the last 12 years. While we have enjoyed previous stays and love the location and charm of this unique hideaway in the mountains there were many changes this time that we were not a fan of. The addition of modern furniture & lamps not in the style of the home, odd placement of a dresser in the living room, and the removal of vintage wicker furniture on the back porch in favor of something else looks out of place. We also missed the beautiful round wooden coffee table and mission reading chair in the living room. Sadly when we checked out, we felt more like a reservation number than a returning customer.

This place is amazing. It is our second time at the lodge and we absolutely love it. The fireplace, the backyard, the privacy. Everything is wonderful.

Lots of changes since our last stay - inside, outside and throughout the property. New dressers were a plus. Comfy bed - always sleep good when we’re here. We did find the handwritten note with codes - thank you. Did not find the printed ‘rules of the property’, no literature on things to do in the area and no guest book! I always read that to get ideas for things to do. Couldn’t find a toaster either (use to have a toaster oven). A LOT of newer furniture on the porch. (The view from the porch can’t be beat anytime of year.) Must admit, I miss the wicker furniture on the porch. Seemed to fit the style of the house nice along with the old furniture (I loved that big round table.) Glad our niece was with us to help with the tv. I know, I really need to learn this streaming. Disappointed we had to watch the Eagles - Dallas football game on our phones but that’s life.

Did not realize that there was a fabulous area right around corner from house with waterfalls /swimhole and mill ruins. PERFECT for bringing a tube and handing for the day. Amazing views.

I booked this as a surprise for my girlfriend and it did not disappoint. We wanted to simply find a pretty spot to unplug for a couple of days and the Lodge proved to be perfect. The decor and details within the Lodge itself were beautiful and comfortable and the view from the screened porch was just what we needed. Add to that a little fishing and reading on the rocks in the river and there was no reason to go anywhere. Thanks very much to Lacey for her ready smile and wave and the yummy pastries!

Being a first time renter, the whole process from booking, to checking in and out, to communicating with the owner was extremely easy.
The lodge itself is a cute little cabin that offered the calm, relaxing, peaceful atmosphere we were looking for. Mornings and nights were spent on the screen in porch listening to the sounds of the stream below.
The cabin has a very homey feel and was easy to settle into and enjoy.

We had a great time. The boys loved wading in the river. The screened in porch was a great place to hang out. We would come back to do more exploring.

Another great vacation at the "Lodge".
This is the 5th or 6th time we stayed there and we truly love coming here. It's very beautiful and private and it's in a perfect location. We can't wait to go back next year. Also, the owners are wonderful people. Thank you for another great vacation.
