Everyone was impressed with the elegance and how comfortable they were, This place accommodated gathering so many at the table. The location was perfect, so we truly enjoyed being there!

The location was great, beds were very comfortable. The upstairs bathroom, which was the main bathroom, needs looking at.
The toilet continuously filled and wouldn't flush again for a couple of hours.
The steps going upstairs are steep so it was unfortunate the handrail was coming off the wall.

Enjoyed the proximity to everything and the easiness of check in

Beautiful location with lots of room. Wholefa.ily loved it. A little old but thats part of the charm. Great cooking facilities. Just be aware if you have serious allergies- the location is clean but due to its age its a little stifling. Overall a wonderful experience.

The house was in a great location to enjoy the historical city. Pretty much everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. There are many good restaurants just a a block away. A taxi ride to the airport would have been about $40 and our Uber ride was about $50 to the airport. The taxi ride from the train station to the house was $12-15. The property has lots of historical charm and character. The listing pictures of the living room had more of a Victorian style sofa and chairs but the sofa was actually a large modern sectional sofa, which we liked better for lounging comfortably together as a group. All of the bedrooms are upstairs. The two bedrooms with King beds are especially spacious. You have to walk through one of the King bedrooms to get to one of the Queens. The AC for the living room and upstairs hallway was great, but the bedrooms in the summer were pretty stuffy even with the floor fans provided for each room. Being an older house, the windows couldn’t be opened since they are painted shut. The restroom upstairs has a modern standup shower with a very nice showerhead, and we never had any problems with all of us getting hot water. The other restroom downstairs has a separate room for the shower and one for the toilet. The washer and dryer are accessed from outside in the back of the property after 5:00pm.

This is what I was expecting for a place of that era, the place is spacious, clean and the 4 bedrooms' beds very comfy. You can't just beat the location. Right on Grand Allee, 100 meters for great restaurant, short walk to the Saint Louis door. Behind the house you have the Plaine d'Abraham garden where I drank my coffee every morning. The sad thing for our family is that we didn't have the chance to see everything that we wanted, we will certainly go back. Last thing is that walking around the Old Quebec city, you feel safe, no one bothers you for anything, we just loved it.

Nina is the perfect host! She is very responsive and the property was excellently located. Property has a lot of old world charm, but could use a few updates (cracked tiles, broken back window etc). Also when traveling with a group of girls, wish there was a security system! Otherwise great stay.

If you're looking for a real neat ol place that will leave you with great memories that a standard hotel cant deliver this is a good choice. Walking distance to the old town gate and many bars and restaurants right next door. This place exudes charm and made a perfect space away for my Christmas staff party. The king sized bed was wonderful and this place will sleep 3 couples easily..mind you one of the bedrooms is only accessible through one of the others bedrooms ...the couches are a touch threadbare but comfy. The pictures online make it look like you will be staying in a place as fancy as Versailles but it is a little weathered in person. All in all a real gem..the host was a very good communicator ..parking was close close around the corner....

The house is spectacular. Location can’t be beaten for the purposes we wanted. Within walking distance of the walled city and Christmas decorations everywhere we’re amazing. Would do it again!

We had a wonderful time. The living room and dining room are just lovely and the architecture was great.
Pros: Location, nearby restaurants, communication was great.
Cons: Kitchen is on the small side (we tend to gather in the kitchen and it was tight for 8 people); the downstairs bathroom is rather unique, I think it might have been a closet at one time. There are 4 bedrooms, but you need to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to another. We were a group of seniors, so the staircase was a bit intimidating, but we managed.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is gorgeous and incredibly big for a group of 8. The proximity to all the restaurants and bars was key! We would definitely return in the near future. Thank you for having us!

We had the best time here! We wanted a unique spot for a bachelorette party and we found it! We hosted a private chef and had 9 people for dinner in the large dining room. The pictures don’t do the place justice. The super high ceilings and the singing room and sitting area are one king room with the option to separate with large wooden doors is really beautiful. It is a little run down and the stairs are a little crooked but the beds are very comfortable and everything was clean. We loved it. Nina was very responsive over message and called me the night before to confirm a few things and was very accommodating.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Quebec. The house was spacious and we liked how unique it was. Our host was easy to get in touch with and very nice. Merci Beaucoup!

We rented this place due to the close location to nearness to many things in old town. Also the fact that 2 bedrooms had kind sized beds. Great! It was fairly clean but carpets are old and dirty, no dishwasher or disposer, showers are in need of an upgrade. When we got there the first day we couldn’t get the front door lock to work so texted the manager’s fill in guy and he told us to pull the knob really hard while opening the lock and the knob completely broke off! So the guy came and fixed it and we waited for a while for all that to happen. Rooms are spacious and beds are good. Back deck is falling apart.

Overall the accommodations were great, location, amenities and size. Bedrooms were great, nice to have 2 bathrooms. Parking was close and adequate. Close to old Quebec, plains of Abraham plus many other attractions and restaurants.
Issue with locking and unlocking front door - took a lot of patience. Also the upstairs bathroom was hard to lock and door did not stay closed.
It would have been nice to be able to use the patio.

We had a great time staying here, close proximity to everything! The room arrangements are great and when our daughter was sick and we needed extra sheets, towels etc they delivered quickly.
We had trouble opening the door and when I called they answered right away! That was a relief to know how easily we could reach them

The pictures don't do this property justice, it's truly a remarkable place in the perfect location. The owners were quick to accommodate us and a delight to communicate with, everything you could possibly want is nearby including art, history, wonderful restaurant options, and all the best that Quebec has to offer. Will 100% stay here again next time. It was amazing.

We had a fabulous time on our recent visit to Quebec. The location was just perfect! Grand Allee is home to many fine restaurants and only 4 blocks from the Old CIty Wall. The house and it’s beautiful Victorian Charm made for the perfect place to experience Quebec Canada. We highly recommend you stay here! Nina was a delight to work with, she was very responsive to any inquiries we had.

Happy to have stayed. Highly recommend.

The only issue with this property was that all five bedrooms were located upstairs (approx. 25 steps up) and we all had to share one full bath on the second level. The other bathroom which was located on the main level, so a bit inconvenient. Antique feeling, tall ceilings, large rooms, close to a very nice shopping district, and very close to the Plains of Abraham, made this a great house for us to share. Not for people who have a hard time walking as it is uphill from Old Quebec (about a 20 min walk) and there are many stairs to get into the house as well as to get to the bedrooms.

What a wonderful experience. We were a party of 7 and this property fit our needs perfectly. Perfect location being only 10min from old Quebec. Nina was a delight to communicate with and was super accommodating. I cannot recommend this property enough. Thank you for making my mom's 70th birthday so special!
