About this villa rental
HOUSE ONLY AVAILABLE FROM AUGUST 4 TO AUGUST 15, 2019
We put at disposal a contemporary and design house, in the 9th arrondissement of Marseille, nestled between seas and creeks, in a dead end, close to all amenities.
It consists of 3 levels and 3 bedrooms (1 master suite + 2 children / teen rooms):
- a games room in the basement
- on the ground floor: the main living room / kitchen in an island / corner / dining area with a surface of
68 m2 and a very high ceiling of 6. 50 meters, + 2 children's rooms
- on the 1st floor: an office in mezzanine with a void on stay, and a parental suite of 20 m2.
The main room communicates with an IPE terrace of
90 m2, a swimming pool of 9 x 3 meters, and a garden of
600 m2 with all the garden furniture, plancha, trampoline, table tennis!
Marseille, this year especially, invites you to visit it with its new pedestrianized Old Port, its new ultra-modern museums (MUCEM), its cultural festivals throughout the year in many neighborhoods :)
We live a few minutes after the district of Mazargues in the 9th arrondissement of Marseille (South District).
This neighborhood is ideally located:
- 10 mn drive from the beaches (Prado) and Parc Borély,
- 15 mn drive from the famous and beautiful coves of Sormiou,
- 15 minutes from the Old Port (Marina with boat trip to the islands of Friuli and Chateau d'If) and Notre Dame de la Garde
- 20 minutes drive from the picturesque village of Cassis always in the Bouches du Rhone (a small Saint Tropez !!)
- 1 h 30 from Saint Rémy de Provence and Baux de Provence in the Lubéron and about 1 h 30 also from Saint Tropez in the Var,
- about 2 hours from the COTE D AZUR (Cannes, Nice, ..)
NB: New service! A shuttle boat can reach the Old Port in 30 minutes - Departure from "Pointe Rouge"
The district of Mazargues has kept its village soul and at the same time enjoys all the local shops on foot or by bike (bakery, press, butcher, laundry, etc ...) and shopping centers 10 minutes with shopping arcade.
Specifically, our villa is located in a dead end, where are only detached houses. It is very quiet, except the cicadas that sing in the summer!
A haven of peace close to all amenities !!

Unfortunately, the property did not meet our expectations - the property does not have air conditioning or adequate ventilation and was unbearably and uncomfortably hot for all of the family. the games room advertised is not available for use (locked). The host also required signing a private contract and paying a private deposit, Unfortunately i cannot recommend it in any hot weather.
