Wonderful time in a huge, comfy home with great views and prime location to restaurants and shops. Enjoyed hearing the sea lions as well!

Perfect location to enjoy and view the fireworks! The home had everything we needed. Only suggestion would be to have an umbrella for the table outside …. It was actually sunny and beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us !!!

The view was great. Overall the house was good.
The cleanliness of the house left some to be desired. There were cob webs in the kitchen above the stove and in the downstairs bathroom. What bothered us the most was that my daughter found a pill on the floor in the back upstairs bedroom and also a half pill on the floor in the little sunroom. We had both a 4 year old with us and a dog. Also I didn't know that we were supposed to text you when we checked out so we left at 9.45 and I didn't see your text until 11:00 when my phone was done charging.

We had a wonderful experience in this house. Location was perfect and the views stunning. Loved the fully equiped kitchen, free standing wood burning stove and layout. There were only two of us, but I could returning with family and friends.

Thanks for helping us share a special getaway with our son and wife. It was a time to celebrate a birthday, share conversation and a time to relax and enjoy the view. The overall cleaning met expectations but I do feel the upstairs bedroom needed some serious attention because of the mold in the two skylight wells. Also bulbs were missing in some light fixtures, couldn’t find any ping pong balls and we could not get the sauna to work, does it work? Thank you.

The home was comfortable for our family to ring in the new year together. There was plenty for us to do and plenty of space. Kids loved ping pong table.

This home has so many unique features. It has an ideal location with stunning views of the bay. Plenty of room and lots to do. We would love to come back.

This is an older home with lots of character, some good, some not so good. But the view and the ability to walk to some shops and restaurants is great.

Spacious and well stocked. Lovely views of the bay. Need AC or fans for summer nights, as the seals bark all night and opening the windows is less than ideal.

This was a fantastic home. It has a great location where you can walk the entire Newport bayfront, and the views from the house are outstanding. The house is well-equipped with thoughtful touches like shellfish cracker tools and portable heaters. There is even a bucket with rags to clean your dogs if you bring them. The beds are soft but comfortable and there is ample parking. The sauna worked well and bathroom ventilation was good in the bathrooms that had fans. You can tell the owners really try hard here. Also, we had no issues with the bedroom-through-a-bedroom layout as it is clearly shown in the photos and virtual tour of the house.
We had a few things we noticed during our stay that could be improved. We didn't have a problem because we were only six people, but if you have more than that it might be difficult to sit all together comfortably on the one couch and two chairs, unless you use the dining chairs, in the main living room. Also, the shower in the main upstairs bathroom with the standalone tub was not functioning very well. It was barely a trickle and the person who tried it gave up and climbed out to go to a different shower. The water pressure otherwise is fine (the bathtub spout itself is very strong). Lastly, and our biggest issue, is the near complete lack of adequate curtains or window coverings in the house. The front harbor-side room had some window coverings, but they were mostly for privacy and not for blocking light. The door to the winter sun room had no covering, and harbor lights at night and sunlight during the morning flooded in. The walk-through bedroom had two windows, one right over the bed that had no covering at all and a window opposite the bed that had a translucent shade. The large bedroom adjoining it had no curtains anywhere, and no way to cover up the skylights. The main floor also lacked coverings on most windows, including where the pull-out couch is. We were quite fortunate with the weather, so perhaps on a typical rainy and grey day the lack of window shades wouldn't be a problem, but for us it really was a pretty big issue and caused us to all wake very early. Not exactly ideal for a vacation. Our children had a hard time going to sleep and we resorted to putting them on the floor in the walk-in closet as it was the darkest space available. If curtains or opaque shades were to be installed, we would ABSOLUTELY rent this house again.

The how was fantastic. It was very open, great location and well taken care of.

mesmerizing view in the living room. We were close to all things at the harbor. Lots of useful information in their binder, and although we only cooked on the last night, the kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in.

We liked the property for the view, and that we could walk to town. It was not as clean as
what we expected. Their was dirt and dust under fireplace. Stains on coffee table, and stain on carpet in family room, which looks like dog stain. Carpets need to be cleaned. The bed downstairs was not comfortable, and we had one older person that could not use the stairs. We have stayed in much nicer places for less money.

The house is a short walk into the town and has a gorgeous view of the bay. We were there for a fishing trip and enjoyed the amenities and convenient location. No surprises; just as advertised.

Plenty of space and fantastic views. Overall very clean. The only thing needed: more screens for windows so we could let in more refreshing breezes without the bugs.

Great home on the harbor for a visit to Newport. There were 5 of us (3 adults & 2 kids). Plenty of room for everyone. Owners were very thoughtful in having extra amenities such as blankets, board games, extra bathrooms, towels, etc. Ping pong table was a huge hit! Very close & convenient to harbor, restaurants & shopping. Easy check in. Loved it!

Perfect view and location
Loved the park-like setting, the sound of rushing water from the nearby stream, the view, all the space, the high-end appliances, heated floors, the excellent sauna. The proximity to walking the waterfront was wonderful, as was sleeping to the sounds of the local sea lions.

There is a significant leak upstairs, forward bedroom next to chimney.

From the view to the location, and the bedding and the kitchen utensils, everything was spot on. Very clean and quiet, and overlooking the harbor. Its a must stay.

We have rented many vacation houses thru Vacasa as other companies. Vacasa was very responsive and called us back immediately when I couldn’t find the reset button for the sauna. The house was cleaned and ready by our check in which was appreciated.
Although it looked small when we drove up, the house is huge. We were 4 couples and had plenty of space. My husband and I stayed in the walk through bedroom and had no problems. We slept through the other couple passing through. Everyone reported comfortable sleeping even on the pull out sofa.
We went sightseeing for a few hours but mostly we enjoyed the view and watching fishing boats come and go. Fascinating.
Other than upscale linens and big towels that you don’t often find, the kitchen is where you can really tell the quality of the rental. It has everything and no pots and pans with scratched Teflon you don’t want to use. Very high quality and quantity.
We all will rent this place again. We had a great weekend.

Clean Unique Home on the Bay!
The house was very clean and spacious for 3 families. Some of the spaces are funky but with all of the square footage everyone had plenty of space and able to get some quality R&R. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, wonderful views!
This house had wonderful views of the fishing boats in the bay and was a couple block walk to restaurants, shops. Beds were super comfortable and the sauna was awesome! Some reviews said the house didn't have good heat but we had no issues. Well appointed kitchen, plenty of towels. Sea lions were a bit noisy in one of the bedrooms but we'd still absolutely stay here again! The kid toys were awesome too!

Great Location and View in Newport Bay
The property was as described. Great View of Newport Bay. Kitchen is awesome. Walking distance on Bay St to fabulous restaurants and crabbing docks. A few items for improvement: garage door sticks and has issues when lowering. The heat source is a wood stove but not stocked with useable wood on the property. When it is cold in the house it is cold. Bring a small heater source instead.
