About this house rental
This spacious two-story walk out waterfront home is situated on over 10 acres of private beach-front property with views of both the Cascade and the Olympic mountains. Extensive remodel brings all the modern updates without losing the vintage details. There is no need to wait in long ferry lines with this house. It’s conveniently located on the north end of Whidbey Island accessible by ferry OR the Deception Pass Bridge. A huge plus if you don’t want to rely on the ferry system.
This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home sleeps 10 comfortably. The master bedroom on the main floor has a king bed and its own full bathroom. The other main floor bedroom has a queen bed and a separate full bathroom. There are two bedrooms in the light-filled basement. One has a queen bed and the other has two bunk beds (sleeps 4 kids). The large deck off the main floor offers plenty of space for outdoor dining and recreation. The basement opens right up to the large backyard which includes a picnic table, fire pit for campfires and smores, horseshoe pits, a 2-person hammock, and a staircase right down to the private beach. A kayak room houses every size imaginable of beach walking boots and towels for your convenience. Two individual kayaks and one large canoe provide hours of fun on the water. If you have a boat, bring it! We have plenty of room for a trailer in the driveway and a public boat launch is located a mere half mile down the beach from us. There's lots of great fishing and crabbing just in front of the house.
The kitchen is equipped with everything to make the most delicious gourmet dinner and a large outdoor grill stands ready for your BBQ needs. (Don't forget you can dig for fresh clams on the beach in front of the house. Seasonal permits are available in town.) The town of Oak Harbor is 10 minutes away and offers shopping, dining, and a weekly farmer’s market. The quaint town of Coupeville is a 20 minute drive and Deception Pass Bridge, with its spectacular views and hiking trails, is also a 20 minute drive. If a day-trip to the San Juan’s is of interest, the Anacortes Ferry is approximately 40 minutes by car. Park for the day, walk on the ferry, and be in the islands in under an hour. The perfect day trip!
Our cozy home, with its original 1970’s retro fireplace, is a perfect place to enjoy every season. You can’t help but unwind while watching the whales, Great Blue Heron, Bald Eagles, otters and seals from every room of this open and light filled spot. It’s ideal for your next vacation or holiday!
Modern conveniences including two flat screen TV’s with cable, high speed internet access, washer and dryer, and a large selection of games and books round out the offerings in this home. Note: while this is a pet-free home, our family dog will occasionally visit. If you have extreme pet allergies, please be aware.

Two college friends with their husbands and I have gotten together through the decades. Not always easy as we are spread across the country from the East Coast to Hawaii. This vacation rental sits close to the top of all the places we have stayed. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

We were a 3 generation group—4 adults, 2 seniors, 3 kids (1.5, 5, 11) and this was perfect for our group! Angele was very responsive, the setting was spectacular and the house had everything we needed. Something to do for everyone. We picked blackberries and made homemade jam, saw bald eagles and great glblue herons and kayaked in the sunset. Amazing and we hope to come back!

We were on Whidbey Island for a wedding just a mile or so away from this house. We all loved the location, the access to the beach, and the wildlife. The bunnies were plentiful, as were the bald eagles. We even saw a whale one morning! The house is well stocked and perfectly clean, and the owners were friendly and responsive. If I were to travel back to Whidbey again, this is where I'd plan to stay!

The house was very nice, lots of extras were included, toilet paper, spices, garbage bags etc. Lots of different pots and pans and utensils. The house was very clean, beds were very comfortable. The views were wonderful n the beach was fun to walk on. The host let us get into the house an hour early since the cleaning was done early which was very nice of her. Answered all our questions and very easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was even better than advertised. The house was well stocked with anything you could possibly need from kitchen items, to bedding, extra trash bags/papertowls/toilet paper, to kayaks/water boots. The location was great; 20 min to Deception Pass, 30min from Ebbys Landing/Coopville. While staying at the house, we enjoyed waking up every morning to the ever changing water views. We saw seals, river otters, and many birds. We would highly recommend it and will stay again. Thank you Angele for sharing your home!

We loved the house and property! We were there for super -moon rises that were spectacular! Given the laundry room and garage that are steps from the kitchen, you have ample space for storing food if you have a large group that likes to cook. We went clamming and had steamers with dinner. Enjoyed using the canoe and lounging on the deck. We were a three-generation family ranging in ages from 4 months to 62. We also had a visit from the Bruce the lone elk of Whidbey Island.

The house was clean and well equipped for what we needed, including kayaks, towels and kitchen appliances. The house is in a great location to Oak Harbor (20 minutes). We also enjoyed picking blackberries and the beach walks.

We had two families of four, with kids ranging from 2 -12, and everyone had a fantastic time at this beautiful property. You can't be being able to walk down to the beach, and being immersed in an abundance of wildlife. We saw seals, bald eagles, herons, many species of song birds, and more. We had plenty of space, rooms worked perfectly, just had a wonder-filled time!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic beachfront house, and it was everything we could have wished for! The property had a fun, inviting vibe that made our stay incredibly enjoyable. Its prime location right on the beach was perfect for our family, as it provided easy and quick access for the kids to run out and play in the sand and beach.
The house itself was impeccably clean, neat, and comfortable, ensuring a truly relaxing vacation experience. The hosts have put a lot of thought into making this a warm and welcoming space for their guests, and it really showed. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and ample seating areas for our whole family to unwind together.
Overall, we couldn't be happier with our stay at this wonderful beach house. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful and memorable family vacation.

Loved our stay! Comfy beds, well stocked house with all the little bonus things (extra pillows/linens, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, food wrap, spices, kitchen staples…) plus all the big things. The view is gorgeous with lots of space to explore the beach. Easy access to Oak Harbor and Deception Pass. Owners were lovely and responded quickly to questions. Highly recommend!

Great location, house is right on the beach. The beach was sandy and had tons of driftwood for building forts and walking on logs. House was really clean and comfortable and the checkin and out process was very easy. We will definitely book again in the future! Thanks for an awesome weekend!

We didn't spend a lot of time at the property because we were in town for a family event, but we loved it so much that we are already planning our next trip to Washington and this property is were everyone wants to stay. it was clean and comfortable and the view from the deck on the back is incredible. I'd highly recommend!!

We spent three nights at Angele's property to celebrate my sister's birthday. It was magical in every sense of the word. Highlights included gazing out the window at the million dollar view, canoeing and kayaking right outside the back door, beach combing for treasures and relaxing by a warm fire at night. Short ferry ride to several neighboring areas/town make for a nice day trop. We will definitely be back again! Angele was a wonderful host and we had the time of our lives!

This home and property was perfect for our 3-generation family gathering! The views are outstanding and we enjoyed spending lots of time on the expansive deck. The beach was great and some of our group had fun using the canoe and kayaks.
The home itself was very comfortable for our family of nine. The rooms are good sizes and the beds were comfortable. We slept well in this quiet neighborhood. The kitchen has a large supply of dishes and pot and pans. The pantry is very well stocked in case you forget anything.
Our host was in contact and provided all the information we needed. We were pleasantly surprised with a gift of French strawberry soda on arrival!
Some of our group visited Fort Casey, but others of us were content to spend the entire time at this mid-century modern home. We all agreed this was the perfect north Whidbey Island location for our gathering. We definitely want to return!

Our stay here was wonderful! Angele was communicative and accommodating, the kitchen was impressively stocked with staples (and we cooked almost all our meals here), and the house came with a stellar collection of games that kept us busy while we were holed up inside due to smoky conditions outdoors. I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing stay to catch up with friends or family! Not to mention the stunning views.

5 stars all around. As advertised. Super quiet. Access to the beach. Plenty of space. Communication with the owner was good. The decor was a little outdated, but overall good. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place to take in the scenery and enjoy the local wildlife.

Perfect Beach House
The hosts are incredibly generous with their beach and water equipment. Can't thank them enough for that! House is light and airy with a great deck overlooking the beach and Saratoga Passage. Lots of comfortable outdoor seating. Good kitchen, well equipped with plenty of pans, dishes, and silverware.
The location is superb - very beautiful and quiet surroundings, great views and easy access to the beach down a few steps - our 85 year old had no trouble.

Beach house with great views!!
We had a very nice family vacation at this quiet, well stocked beach house. The views were spectacular! The pictures online do not do the views justice. While the kitchen and bathrooms are rather dated and could use an upgrade, the easy access to the beach (for tide pooling and shore walking for miles) make this an ideal location for a North Whidbey beachhouse.

I had the pleasure of staying in one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed. Girls weekend to celebrate my retirement with 7 of my closest friends was beautiful! The view, the beach, the kayaking and the accommodations were a dream! Pretty certain this will be a yearly tradition.
