I having been coming to Dubois for years to treat clients to fishing. This was a perfect place on an outstanding stretch of stream. It was relaxing and peaceful and the perfect proximity to town. Loved it.

Clean, well-stocked cabin. Just the right balance of remoteness and proximity to town.

The inside of the house is impressive with high ceilings, wood posts and taxidermy of local wildlife. We liked there were so many areas to hang out for separate smaller groups, yet a big table for gameplaying. Being right next to the river was wonderful as well. Downtown Dubois is adorable..

Dubois is perfect for day trips to various sites, and sites close by. The cabin was lovely, with comfortable beds and a newer hot tub on the deck. Kitchen was well stocked with all dishes and amenities for cooking. We appreciated being on the highway as we had motorcycles. The river was amazing to enjoy in the morning from the deck with coffee. Comfy living room, laundry area was convenient, and strong wifi. Eager to return!

I’ll start by saying the cabin is very nice. It is right on the shore of the Wind river with a view of the Absaroka Mtns behind them. It is well off route 26 but I would not call the feeling remote. You can turn left and watch the traffic on Rt 26. The layout of the cabin is nice and the bedrooms were a good size. This cabin appears to have the highest VRBO rating in the Dubois area, so we booked it for our fishing trip to celebrate a friends birthday.
Some things were not great. There were no waste baskets in the bedrooms, no catcher in the kitchen sink, a light bulb in a bathroom was out on arrival. Instructions tell you the garbage goes out to the end of the drive Tuesday night. But another instruction on masking tape on top of the can instructs to transfer the garbage from that can to one of the grey cans. I missed the masking tape message. When we returned the 2 big grey cans were empty but the black one was not. I’ve NEVER had to transfer my garbage, along with some strangers, from one can to another at any place I have ever stayed at, much less one where I am paying $380/night. The drain in the shower was clogged, not totally but a decent pool did accumulate at your feet. Lastly, the downstairs bathroom sink also had its draining challenges.
I’ve travelled the world and stayed in various levels of accommodation. I was really hoping this cabin was going to deserve a stellar review, if only for my friend’s sake, but I have to say we were disappointed.

We book VRBO's about every three or four years in the Dubois area. Fishing, hiking, four-wheeling and rodeo attendance are what is most attractive in this area. Being able to interact with the natural and beautiful environment. The cabin was very nice and convenient for our activities. There was good communication and amenities for our group.

Stayed with our family of 5 —pre-teen and teens and Grandparents. Wonderful location! Enjoyed fishing just outside the house and day trips to the Tetons and Yellowstone. Close enough to everything we needed in town but still felt secluded! First time to Dubois and this house. We will definitely be back!

The property was a great place for snowmobilers. Plenty of space to park and put you your gear out. The only discrepancy was that the beds in the living room area are barely big enough for kids. The views are amazing.

We live in Dubois but have this to say: What a great place to host 8 people visiting from Georgia! The house was a comfortable place to call home base for our daughter's mother and father in-law and her sister in-law, husband and two young adults. We fished, we visited Jenny Lake and Old Faithful, we photographed, we bowled, toured the Military Museum and we shopped until we dropped. The house was the perfect set-up for the varied ages and interests of guests. Good find!

We had such a wonderful time staying at this cozy log cabin. The view was breath taking. We loved being right on the river where we could fish for brown trout. The hot tub was perfect for evening relaxation. The cabin had a fully stocked kitchen that we cooked in each day. The decorations added to the ambiance and charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful rustic abode.

Beautiful and Convenient Location!
Authentic, gorgeous cabin with everything you need available in the cabin. Amazing location overlooking the Wind River which was fun to hike around, but there was also a convenient path to DuBois. We felt like we were home. Lovely accouterments provided which made our stay so relaxing. ❤️

Nice property. Had a group of 4 stay for a few days. Real good time, didn't really spend much time at the home as we were out touring. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great stay in Dubois
The property is lovely and very close to downtown Dubois. The cabin is exquisitely built and comfortable. The property manager is very responsive and does a wonderful job making sure the experience is great. The property owner would do well to support the manager by making sure he is informed of upcoming visits. Maybe connect him to your VRBO account so they know when someone has rented the property.

Amazingly Perfect
This Cabin is amazing, I (we) had a great time, very centric and at the same time seclude. I have a photo of the cabin on my desk and every time I need a break, I just look at the photo. Its very relaxing. Deers comes every evening to drink water, it is just peaceful, at night you can easily see the amazing Milk Way. Definitively recommended. It is all I was expecting for and more.

We have stayed at the Wind River - Yellowstone Cabin multiple times and have always enjoyed our stay
The cabin is conveniently located to Dubois, but nestled away by the river. It is a high quality, well appointed traditional western log cabin.

Unique Beautiful Home - Super Close to FQ
I travel to new orleans all the time, for work and for play. I LOVED this property, it was very unique, with a front home with a covered gallery and a back mother-in-law. The hosts were super friendly and the property is very close to lots of bars and restaurants. I had a great time and would definitely come back here.

Amazing!
This cabin is beautiful and situated in a wonderful area! Everything you need. There were some complaints about the beds from family members but ours was comfy. I Ioved laying in bed at night and seeing the stars. I highly recommended this rental and would stay there again.

Beautiful place to stay!
Very nice cabin right next to the river with even better views! Great location, peaceful and quiet, yet very conviently located right outside of town. We already want to come back here next year; would definitely recommend this cabin!

A great cabin well situated along the Wind River, while close to town.
Warm rustic western cabin well appointed for comfort.
4.0
Nice cabin & owner but there were a few drawbacks.
Cabin is easy to find, owner pleasant & responsive to emails. You can find anything you need in the terrific little town of Dubois. The cabin does not have any HVAC...just wall heaters & wood stove. There is a Motel on one side, rental tee-pee's on the other... a private home overlooking the front of the cabin & highway to the back. The cabin was comfortable but the shower design is a fail. We were required to purchase rental insurance or provide a large security deposit. Please do not consider these comments as negative but more as an F.Y.I. Dubois, Wy. is a great destination in itself...be aware that the Togwotee Pass that connects Jackson Hole to Dubois is subject to closures due to weather.
