Lovely, comfortable and clean home in the woods! What more could a group of friends want? Close by to great attractions in Leelanau. Great host!

Lovely secluded and tranquil property but easy access to everywhere.
Completely kitted out kitchen and a great space to chill out with friends or family.
To be honest, it would work better for a family than couples or friends as the 3 sleeping areas are not similar at all, but it is a lovely house and suited our needs perfectly.

Amazing place, great location. Our family of 5 loved everything about it

Although I understand the desire to use rubber mattress padding, it causes much perspiration. I think better non-rubber or plastic mattress padding could be used. After one night sleeping on the otherwise comfortable mattress, I simply slept on top on the comforter. Mattress toppers could be used, I think, which can be removed and washed.
I hope this suggestion helps the owner.

We stayed at this beautiful home for the week of our wedding at Sleeping Bear Dunes. Our families stayed on Glen Lake and Little Traverse Lake, and we loved having our own secluded spot in the woods. The house is gorgeous (my sister likened it to the house in the Twilight movies) and very clean. The closets are spacious and the bathrooms very accommodating. The lighting from all of the windows was my favorite part! I would recommend this home to anyone visiting the greater Glen Arbor/Leland area. The proximity to M22 is fantastic! We had no problem making it up the driveway in our X3, and even our families’ mini vans made it up no problem. We got picked up in a 12 passenger van without incident! Thanks for a fantastic stay!

This place is our new favorite! Enjoy your stay in this clean, well constructed, tasteful home away from home. Just lovely!

We've now stayed here twice, both times in November. It is the most peaceful, cozy retreat I can imagine: big windows look out on the snowy woods, but we're inside with a good book and the wood stove. It's a very short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes for some hiking or cross-country skiing, and the kitchen is the best equipped I've seen at a vacation rental. What more could you want?

Loved our stay in this comfy and clean modern house surrounded by nature. A real break from the city and cozy with the wood stove/fireplace!

Tricia was so helpful for check-in and check-out. The cabin was so quiet with no close neighbors. We loved the balcony right off the master bedroom as well the handy clothes washer and dryer upstairs. We highly recommend this cute cabin as well as Tricia, the owner!

This place feels like home. Great place to stay if you enjoy peace and quiet in northern Michigan. Short easy drive to many, many things to do! Very clean, very comfortable.

Absolutely lovely place. Close to all the points of interest. Hostess was easy to communicate with and there was so much thoughtfully placed for use which made it seem like you were in your own home.

A+ for hospitality! The house was exactly as described and is stocked with everything you need or forget :). It felt like they really put themselves in the guest’s shoes when planning and thinking out this wonderful and relaxing rental. Tricia also communicated quickly and had great recommendations of area. It was conveniently located to all the things you’d want to do. We highly recommend.

It was as advertised! Kids loved the loft. House was clean and comfortable. Fully stocked towels, sheets, blankets ect. The proximity to the hikes and adventures that we wanted to do was great. Tricia was super kind and gave us her personal recommendations for food, hikes, and beaches. We definitely want to come back and see the area when the seasons change.

The property is located about halfway between Glen Arbor and Leland—perfect for us! It’s also only a couple of miles away from the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail where we like to bike. It was well kept and we enjoyed our stay immensely!

I stayed here for 6 nights with my three sisters (all 55+). The home was super clean and comfortable. Tricia had really thought of everything travelers would need. She provided lots of details in a bound document on the kitchen counter. The kitchen was well-stocked with every appliance and tool you would need. Towels and sheets were plentiful and comfortable. We enjoyed campfires in the yard (with lots of wood provided) and appreciated the wifi to stream a movie and handle a few work tasks. Tricia was very responsive and went out of her way to suggest some additional things to do during our visit. The home is lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. Two thumbs up for this property and for Tricia! Thank you for making our visit to the area so wonderful!

The house has everything you need and is in a great location. This is our third year renting this house and we enjoyed seeing the resident chipmunk and frog. The area is very quiet and it’s nice sitting outside at night by the fire.

We loved staying here! The design of this house really connects you with nature and the trickling sound of the pond waterfall outside added to the zen appeal. We found the house very well stocked and comfortably appointed. We like the proximity to both Glen Arbor and Traverse City. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect place for a long weekend. There are beautiful views, a cozy fireplace, and a great little loft for an afternoon read or nap. Check-in and out were seamless, and even the little snow we got was cleared away in a timely manner. We will definitely be back!

Very serene, peaceful retreat in the wooded areas near Sleeping Bear National Park/Glenn Arbor. Perfect for a quiet warrior get-away to reset over the Christmas holidays and an awesome snow storm just before Christmas to top off a rough year. Tricia and her family are amazing people and hosts, and everything is exactly as described. Pretty sure I took the record for a length of stay here! Slava Ukraini!!

Came up to visit the wineries during toast the season. Great location, centrally located and a beautiful secluded lot. Inside had a very thing to make meals and simply enjoy being with friends. The decor was comfy and stylish and I really liked the local artwork. It was super clean and the owner has thought of everything. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time and found the property just as described - peaceful, clean, well appointed. We had everything we needed and then some. Tricia was a gracious and communicative host. Would definitely stay again!

We simply had the best time at this property. It was even better than the description provides. The cabin is bright, open, airy, but simultaneously warm, cozy, and comfortable. You can absolutely get trapped in this cabin and have plenty to do for days on end. The owners have really thought of everything.
I can’t recommend changing a single thing about this place. One thing I will mention that made me message the host is that the driveway is perfectly fine for most front wheel drive cars with dry or non-snowy conditions. In the winter I can see needing a four-wheel drive vehicle unless you park at the bottom of the ~500’ driveway.
As far as towns: You can drive 15 minutes in to Glen Arbor and get food as well as visit the grocer. Anything more and you will need to drive to Traverse City, which is approximately 30 minutes east. This area has so much to offer in any season there is little reason to not visit.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this cozy place in the woods. Our kids loved the trails and the loft and I loved being so close to Glen Arbor and many of our favorite hiking spots as well as Lake Michigan. It was quiet and relaxing away from the busyness of TC.

My now husband booked this place for our honeymoon get away. We both wanted secluded. It was a very well kept home and it was so quiet and peaceful! I enjoyed waking up to the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee. I saw some cute deer roaming around the house which was nice to see wildlife . It was a memorable Stay for sure. Tricia made it such a smooth process from checking in to checking out! We will definitely be Back!

Our family loved the peace and tranquillity of this property. It had everything we needed for rest and relaxation. Its close proximity to Sleeping Bear trails and Glen Arbor made it the perfect location for multiple daily hikes and trips into town for shopping. The frogs in the koi pond were a cute bonus feature.

I would highly recommend this property! The owners are so thoughtful and their attention to detail made our short family trip unforgettable ❤️

Very unique perfect home, can’t wait to stay again, only recommendation I have is bring a “Roku device” $29.99 at Walmart, hooks up to the TV and you get your Netflix, Prime, Hulu or whatever you pay for at home.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautifully situated, clean and extremely well appointed. If you cook, you will want for nothing. A great place for simply relaxing and is conveniently located to so many places and activities in the area. The host was very responsive, informative and helpful. We truly didn’t want to leave, and we miss our froggy friends who live in the koi pond.

Peace & quiet amongst the treetops
A beautiful Scandinavian-style cabin in the woods. Owned by ecologically-responsible and nature-loving hosts who provide everything you need for a quiet getaway immersed in birdsong and evergreen-scented breezes. No one in sight except the
friendly resident chipmunk (who loves grapes fyi!!).
Loved the host's book selection of interesting cookbooks, nature, & local flora & fauna.
A true nature sanctuary centrally located for access to Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear, and Traverse.
Tricia was friendly and communicative and her cabin in the woods was magical! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
