About this apartment rental

Val D'Isere is a great alternative to staying at the expensive condominiums in the Village. This property is just across the street! In the morning, it is just a short walk to the Gondola to the Canyon Lodge lifts. During the evening, you'll have no need for a car. Simply walk to Mammoth's newest restaurants, shops, and nightclubs; then return home to a much quieter location with no Village noise below your room! The Val D'Isere Complex has a completely remodeled large Jacuzzi, sauna and dressing room area. The large pool is open during the summer. There is also a BBQ at the pool in the summer as well as a common area laundry room in addition to our laundry in the condo. Two car parking is available right by the condo. Extra parking is available upon request. Our Condo is next to the New Ski Back Trail, at the bridge that crosses into the Village, as well as the Mountain Bike Trail to the Village. Ski, bike and hike in the beautiful woods just outside!

Why the Owner Chose Val D'Isere:: With our condo in the Val D'Isere complex across from the Village and next to the ski back trail, it is in the perfect spot for winter skiing and summer hiking and biking right from our parking area. Great skiing and boarding in winter and late spring. Lots of activities also during spring, summer and fall: Fourth of July, Jazz Festival, Beer Festival, Art Festival, Blues Festivals, Mountain Biking, 5ks, 10k, Mammoth Motocross, golfing and much more. Take a day trip to Yosemite or Mono Lake and Bodie Ghost Town, you'll never run out of things to do. Don't miss a trip to Hot Creek as well. Shuttle service is available to any of the Mammoth lodges. Mammoth, June, and Owens River/Bishop are prime fly fishing spots. The many lakes make for fantastic water sports too - you can jet ski and knee board at Crowley Lake and Grant Lake. There are daily flights from LAX, Orange County (SNA) and San Francisco to Mammoth airport which is less than 10 miles from our condo.

The Unique Benefits of this Condo: : Year Purchased: 2010; Completely rebuilt in mid 2013 - We have made this condo very comfortable with all the amenities that you desire. This is truly our home away from home and hope this will be yours as well. The condo is an end unit which has a southern exposure making it warm and bright. Val D'Isere is a small complex allowing close parking to the unit. It's on the ski back trail and mountain bike trail and directly across the street from the Village and gondola area. It's a great location for skiing and also when they have concerts and events at the village across the street. Once you are at our condo you do not need a car since the best restaurants are across the street in the Village.

Owner Description/Comments:: We have been vacationing at Mammoth Lakes for over 40 years and enjoy all that it has to offer including the best snow skiing in the US as well as great hiking and many summer activities. It's the perfect place to have a family vacation.

Lory’s home is comfortable, well equipped and the location can’t be beat. Lory was super flexible and generous with check in, and communication was excellent. It wasn’t as bright and sunny as suggested, but that’s because there was 30 feet of snow outside ! LOL😄. Thank you Lory

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. It's location is great, right across from the Village and Gondola; easy to walk to everything. Loved having the 4 bathrooms, makes a big difference when you have a larger group. Highly recommend!

Great property walking distance to village and gondola. We were stuck in mammoth when all the roads closed, Lory was very responsive and helpful, every message sent to her was answered within minutes. Property, parking, location very comfortable for two families with children.

The location of the condo was great! Short walk to the Village and the gondola. The condo is clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for the 6 adults and 4 kids we had stay there. The kitchen was well outfitted and stocked to make meal preparation easy. We enjoy our stay tremendously.

We had the most amazing stay at Lory’s condo! It was the perfect size for our group of 9, giving everyone their own personal space. The amenities were fantastic — kitchen well stocked, extra blankets pillows and toiletries if we needed them, and overall very comfortable! Lory and Jeff were kind enough to allow us early check in and late check out which was an unexpected treat! The location was perfect as well. It was so easy to take a few steps into the Village and take the gondola up to Canyon Lodge we really had little need to drive anywhere. Would absolutely stay here again!

We have stayed at a number of VRBO properties and this might have been the best overall experience. When looking for anything to critique I couldn't come up with anything. It's slightly worn, but tat's to be expected at a ski rental property.The kitchen cooking knives need sharpening!!! That's it!! When we needed to ask a few questions during our stay we were able to reach the owner each time without delay. The proximity to th both the village and the gondola were a short 5 minute walk. I would not hesitate to say here again.

The condo is just a few steps from the Village. Parking is close to the unit for easy unloading and loading. The communication with the owners was quick and they were very attentive about parking an additional vehicle for our group. The unit was clean and exactly as described. Will stay again!

We had so much fun at this Mammoth property! The condo was fully stocked with all of the necessities, very clean, loved how each bedroom had its own bathroom and the location was walking distance to the Village. This condo worked perfectly for our group. Having 4 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, was exactly what we needed. The place was clean, and the host was wonderful. Perfect for 3 Generations

This escape was for 3 couples (grandparents and 2 daughters with husbands) along with 3 grandchildren (ages11 months, and two 3 year olds). Downstairs were three bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms which helped provide quiet and an escape if needed. Master bedroom on the main floor with full bathroom next door was spacious. Can’t say anything negative on the location as it is across the street from the village with restaurants and shops.

This was the perfect condo for our small family reunion. The location was so convenient close to the Village, the kitchen was well equipped, four bathrooms for the four bedrooms were very handy.
