What an absolutely beautiful cabin! Was so cozy and comfy and had everything we need. Close enough to attractions but far enough to feel remote. This cabin should be a Thomas Kincade painting. I had posted some pics on Facebook and 2 friends wanted the info on this place. The creek behind the cabin is so wonderful to hear in the evening. Watch out for bears as we saw a big fat one but ran off. Very cool to see. Have done a lot of VRBO and this one gets an A+

Was a very nice stay even though there were other cabins you hardly realised there were other people around. Very nice getaway.

We usually don't take the time to write reviews...but this experience is so worthy! The cabin was exactly what we were looking for...close enough to Gatlinburg that you could be there in a few minutes, and far enough to have peace and quiet we were looking for. The sound of thecreek in the back of the cabin was serenity.THANK YOU!
4.7
The cabin was great. It had everything that you would need for a trip to the mountains. Very peaceful location.

We loved the location, however the pics of the creek were not what was behind our particular cabin. We got there a lot later than expected, and we were exhausted. We pulled out the bed and found goldfish crackers inside. So unfortunately after a 6-7 hour drive, we had to take it upon ourselves to clean up some, not a lot. But it was still annoying after a long ride.
Our 9 year old was ready to come home so we left a day early unfortunately.
We will be back, just maybe not as long of a trip.

We had a great time in the cabin. Cozy

Went to enjoy the area with wife. No complaints from us. Checkin was easy. Would like to have an attraction and best deals book at the cabin. Outside of that we hope to be back sooner than later.

We loved the stay - the area - the scenery, Brought our 4 legged kid and was very nice with him. The cabin was what was posted, the creek was amazing to listen too and just sit with coffee and relax every morning. Would come back in a heart beat, and will probably in the future ventures back. There are a row of the cabins that was very easy to get to and in and out of, out of the way but nice and quiet and not a long drive to where ever. Only like 15 mins to Gatlinburg, very cute nice clean doggy park on the way also which was very convenient also (he loved the play time). The laundry room is a walk from the cabin but nothing major, it was a laundry room - nothing fancy. 2 washers and 2 dryers but one was broke, didnt smell that great but it did the job for washing our clothes since we needed more days with jeans than shorts lol. Thanks for the quick response on questions and we really enjoyed ourselves, I hope we all will be back :-)

Perfect size for us! Cozy, comfortable bed, nice hot tub, little creek out back, and we were able to take our cat. About 20 minutes from Gatlinburg.

We were not supposed to check in until 4:00 but the owner was generous enough to let us go in couple hours early. But, when we finally got all of our things in the cabin we noticed that there was no internet or television service after trying to get in touch with the owner and the lady that takes care of the cabin which when I tried to text and when I tried to call her it said that her voicemail was full so the owner finally got back in touch with me and said he would have Comcast come look at it so we had to leave early our dinner in pigeon forge come back to the cabin to find that it still wasn't working and then I got a text from the owner saying that the HOA did not pay the cable internet bill. This cabin was supposed to be a non-smoking cabin and when my husband went to pull the sofa bed out there was cigarette butts in the cushions of the couch so I also let the owner know about the cigarette butts and the smell of cigarettes in the cabin. There was a sign in the cabin stating that there was ants because of the wood of the cabin but they were everywhere in the shower in the bathroom. The outside is a beautiful area but they had a picnic table sitting there that was completely destroyed and the seat was halfway off so you couldn't enjoy the picnic area also there was tons of cigarettes but everywhere just didn't look very clean or that no one took the extra effort to clean them up for the next guest that was going to show up. Also hot tub couldn't use for 2 days broke.

We stayed in this cabin 25 years ago on our honeymoon. We returned for our anniversary this year. The place is adorable - just like we remembered but even better with the back deck and hot tub being added. Great location. Easy check in/out. Responsive owners. We will definitely go back!

Very pleased with this cabin. Clean, comfortable, perfect for two. Hot tub looked new, easy to operate. Creek behind the cabin provided the perfect white noise at night. We slept with the upstairs window open every night. About 20 minutes or so from Gatlinburg. Would rent this cabin again.

Needs a step from the parking to the porch. When you have bad knees, hard to step up (too high) and no railing to hold on to. Everything else was very nice.
4.7
Cabin had everything we needed
We enjoyed it a lot

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The property owner was quick to respond to all of my questions. The housekeeper did a great job of establishing a cozy ambiance when we arrived to our cabin. We loved the fact that it was by the creek, and morning coffee by the creek was our favorite thing. We also enjoyed long walks on the quiet road behind the cabin, as well as the hot-tub and fireplace. We especially loved the fact that we could bring our dog with us. We really hope to make this cabin an annual tradition.

We chose this cabin because we wanted to stay on the outskirts of the busy city , but far enough out to enjoy the soothing creek sounds and a calming hot tub on the back deck. "Almost Paradise" was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly ! We'll be back!
4.7
Almost Paradise is just that, almost paradise. Perfectly located for Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. 20 minutes or less to each city and other great spots to explore. Cabin is set up wonderfully, very comfortable and tastefully decorated.

Overall, it was very nice, the people before us smoked and the smell was still in the cabin and the ashtray was still dirty on the back porch. We bought a candle and that helped.
4.7
Relaxing, quite property. Several cabins in a row. Never heard a peep out of anyone.
4.7
Great location in a quiet area of the Smokies. Beautiful little cabin on the banks of a creek. Hot tub on the screened back porch was enjoyable and the cabin met all our needs.

Nice cabin area with stream in back of cabin-beautiful. Town of Cosby is not much to speak of but only 20-30 minutes from Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge is not bad at all.

We had a good time overall. The cabin was clean for the most part. Im not super picky about certain things. It was quiet and sleeping with the bedroom window open falling asleep to the creek was nice. Our 75lb Golden Retriever had a good time. He had a little trouble with the stairs going up to the loft bedroom at first but then got used to it. Note: there is no door to the bedroom so he was distracted by being able to go up and down the steps while we were sleeping. Usually he’s locked in the bedroom with us at home. The hot tub worked fine and it was relaxing being out on the enclosed porch with the creek right there. We opened up the sofa bed and had a sleepover situation with my husband and our pup watching movies in the living room. The location of the property is private and quiet but be aware that the food situation is a little tricky. Places closed early and there aren’t many options unless you drive 25 minutes to Gatlinburg which is a whole scene to park and is crowded. We drove 2 hours east thru Asheville and went to Mt. Mitchell which was a great day trip and dog friendly. GSMNP is not dog friendly FYI. Mt. Mitchell State Park is though. Overall a lovely trip and loved the peacefulness at the cabin. Would recommend. Just keep the above tips in mind depending on your trip plans.

So peaceful!

it’s such a beautiful quaint tent with the most beautiful view of the creek and the sounds are incredibly soothing as well! Tucked away and about 30 minutes away from everything can’t wait to go back
4.7
Beautiful, serenity, the patio and hot-tub literally feet from the creek made the whole thing spring over the top. A gem in the woods, cozy, comfy.and oh so nice. Will tell both my friends..lol....seriously, it was a fabulous place. Thank you.

My wife had knee replacement 3 months ago. The 10 inch step to get on the porch was a little much.
Next time we will have to find something with a bedroom down stairs. We are both in our late 60s.
The 45 degree step at the bottom of the stairs I missed twice but I had a good grip on the handrail. If we were younger we would have loved it.
4.7
It was very peaceful with the creek running in the back.
4.7
Would stay there again

Nothing but wonderful. One trip that we will never forget. We are going to be back in the near future. I want to thank you so much.
4.7
We had another great stay. The cabin is so nice and perfect size and absolutely love the hot tub on the screened in porch. Thank you so much for a great weekend.
4.7
Cute cabin with all amenities. Cozy and relaxing with the Creek. The dust was unbearable, it was literally coated on almost everything. The housekeeping needs to do a better job as there was also a sock and tennis ball under the couch. Hairs on the bottom of the toilet also.
4.7
The property was so welcoming. The beautiful flowers in bloom in front of the front door provide beauty and seclusion. Check in was super easy and the home had everything we needed in terms of trash bags, dishwashing, cleaning products. The cabinets were well stocked for home cooked meals.
The creek that runs behind the property is the perfect backdrop while sitting in the outdoor hot tub. Close to stores and food if you need anything!
I would highly recommend this property to anyone. We will be back!

Nice quiet location at the edge of the park boundary. As advertised and well stocked. Would stay again for sure

Our cabin was just as pictured, clean and everything that was listed was there. Hot tub was such a blessing to use every day. Thank you for such a great get away!
4.7
Drive way need to be resurfaced.
4.7
This place was a very quiet get away from home. Even with all the other cabins full you'd never know you had neighbors. The creek is louder than the hot tub and this was very relaxing. 10/10 will stay again
4.7
We had a great time! We picked this location because of the hot tub by the creek and it did not disappoint! We would highly recommend this location

Very cozy and peaceful with the water running behind the cabin
