The property was absolutely gorgeous. Was so nice to wake up and see the horses in the pasture. Family enjoyed fishing at the farm pond each day. It was awesome to feel so secluded at the property, but be only a short drive from downtown or other shops and restaurants. The house itself was beautiful and we loved everything about it. Would absolutely look to book again when visiting the area.

We hope to stay here again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay. The horses came to greet us upon our arrival. The home was perfect; clean, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen amenities. Beautiful, serene away from it all and still close to shopping and eateries. Highly recommend this property.
4.9
The house was perfect for us to get away and enjoy hanging out. Easy access to restaurants when we wanted to go out. Full kitchen for when we cooked and stayed in. It sits away from any neighbors but is close enough to Biltmore.
The house was clean and well cared for.

If you're looking for a place to relax and feel semi-secluded, this is great! The farm feel with horses, barn and pasture that are close enough to enjoy made this a fun and relaxing get-away.

We absolutely loved this property and would definitely return to it.

The property was very quaint, quiet, and just as advertised. The little ones loved seeing the horses each morning, and taking little walks around the farm. It was a nice stay and everything we needed to be comfortable was provided for. The location is great, not too far from all the parks and trails or the city. Getting around was very easy to and from the farm. Totally enjoyed it and made our spring break getaway memorable!

Terri was super nice and we loved hearing the family history of the property! We loved seeing the horses, goats and chickens... We will definitely book again and we wished we lived there full time!

Perfect home base for our Sierra Nevada/Smoky Mountain National Park adventure. Feels secluded but close to amenities.

We had such a lovely time! We primarily used this as our base for exploring the area but the house was cozy and comfortable. It was chilly when we visited so we didn't use any of the outdoor facilities but it was beautiful!

First, I apologize for the late review, the link went to junk mail.
Our stay here? Absolutely amazing! Who can complain about sitting on a porch in a rocking chair each morning watching the horses and enjoying a cup of coffee? The home was cozy, and it just felt like home. By the second day, I forgot we were renting it. Everything was provided in the house that we needed, and when I say this house was clean, it was incredibly clean. The owners of the property were around, but weren’t “in the way,” out splitting wood and taking the trash out. We rented this house to celebrate Christmas with my mom, who lives over the hill and through the woods about 10mins away. Despite going through chemo and radiation, she was able to come over and visit every day, and had no trouble getting around the house. The owners even decorated the fireplace up for the holidays!
I’m not good at writing reviews, but I can’t express it enough how much our family enjoyed this stay. 100% we’ll be staying here again! It just felt like home. What a wonderful property!

Everything about the process and property met our expectations and then some.
We were looking for a place to explore the Asheville and Blue Ridge Mountains area and this fit the bill nicely.
Great older but updated cottage overlooking the horse farm and pond. Communications with the owner were spot-on - largely just what's needed and otherwise very private. Large, well-furnished kitchen, laundry. Hot tub looked nice though we didn't use. We did make use of the fireplace one night.
If you're looking for a quick and very tasty Mexican/Salvadorian meal Mary's Burrito is very close by and we made use of it twice. If you want an excellent steak or seafood we found the nearby 131 Main top-notch.
We were able to see much of Asheville, the Biltmore as well as hike a number of trails. Loved the comedy bus tour, LaZoom more than expected even though friends recommended it.
Definitely recommend this cottage! Didn't bother us but I'll note an adjoining property is a bit of an eye-sore. You only see it as you enter or leave and it looks like additional steps are being taken to "hide" it further. We actually marvelled at it and you'd never know its there from the rental property itself. Just one of those things.

Beautiful location in the heart of everything. Very peaceful. Loved watching the horses each day. Was very comfortable and well stocked with anything you can possibly need. Close to food and entertainment.

Our family (2 adults and three kids) really enjoyed our stay at this farm home. The house itself was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed farm fresh eggs on our first morning and loved waking up to see the horses in the pasture. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and watching a movie in the comfortable living room. The house feels like it is a secluded countryside getaway, while also being convenient to amenities! A 10 minute drive brings you to the Sierra Nevada Brewery- which is a must see if you enjoy beer! A 25 minute easy drive will get you to the Biltmore Estate. There is a fantastic grocery store nearby (Ingles) if you need to stock up on anything. On our last night we were able to order Chinese food through door dash and it was delivered within 30 minutes! We would definitely stay here again- thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Cottage at willow pond stable was pleasant , calm and relaxing . We spent our time together horse back riding in the blue ridge mountains enjoying the animals along the trail , clear blue sky and fresh clean air with moon above . Delightful lunch followed at downtown Weaverville at Twisted Laurel . All of us can’t wait to do both again . Later that evening we finished our day walking in Asheville for the ghost tour . After that full day , we concluded with a soak in the hot tub back at the cottage . Fall in Asheville at the cottage - just another wonderful day!

Everything about the cottage reflected the owners care and thought for guests. Clean, comfortable, and well supplied. And what a relaxing treat to see beautiful horses out in the pastures grazing. All of this and still so close to everything in the Asheville area. We have stayed in multiple places around Asheville over the years and this is one I will definitely rent again.

Our first time visiting Asheville and we chose this place given our child’s love for horses and the property proximity to downtown Asheville. The cottage was clean and equipped with everything necessary and appreciated the personal touch with fresh farm eggs in the fridge on arrival. Scenery was lovely, so peaceful. The highlights for us definitely were the beautiful horses.
4.9
We liked everything about it. The place was exactly as described, had everything we needed for a week's stay, and was nice and quiet. For us, the location couldn't have been better. Halfway between Asheville and the hiking we were doing near Hendersonville. Plus, it's just a few minutes from the airport. We'll definitely look for this again when we come back.

We loved the cottage, the property, and all the horses! Everything was clean and the mattresses were comfortable. We’d happily go back again!

It a very relaxing stay with beutiful scenery.

My wife and I came out for a quick weekend. I wish we could have stayed longer! Coming from the bustle of Orlando, Florida, this property was an oasis. Quiet, with horses wandering the pasture. We finally saw the barn cat, who was super friendly. The property is close enough to get to the Biltmore Estate or downtown Asheville, but far enough away to enjoy more peace and quiet.
Everything was clean and very homey, down to the farm fresh eggs left in the refrigerator for us!
If we visit the area again, we’d love to stay here!

Booked this cute cottage for my bachelorette trip and it was absolutely amazing. The location is outstanding and in close proximity to all that Asheville has to offer. It’s so peaceful and the scenery is like something from a magazine! The horses were beautiful and the barn cat was so friendly and made its way right into our pictures! The rustic decor fit perfectly and the personal touches from the owner was so sweet! We will definitely book here again!

We took a week to celebrate our 27th anniversary and have some R&R after a hectic period. The horse farm is beautiful and so peaceful. We sat outside at various places for hours including the hot tub every night. We ate most of our meals in so the stocked kitchen was very helpful. Great location being so quiet yet near things. Thoroughly enjoyed everything and will certainly be back.

Was gift for our son and daughter-in-law. They loved it.

We enjoyed our 45th wedding anniversary at this delightful farm! It was so awesome to get to watch the horses. The setting is so beautiful & peaceful! The cute little cottage has all the comforts of home...nice firm bed, great shower pressure, well equipped kitchen, etc. It was very clean! It is close enough to Asheville to easily get to town, but you feel that you are in the middle of nowhere! Very relaxing! Terri, the owner is very accommodating & helpful!

Nice place to stay after exploring the Biltmore and Asheville! Enjoyed watching the horses.

Great place. Quiet and close to everything we wanted to see. Very peaceful waking up to the horses in the pasture. Loved it

In Asheville for senior men's baseball tournament. This cottage was close to the venue and had everything we needed to relax after our games. Terri, our host was awesome!

Our stay was simply magical! The home and property were as pictured and truly felt like a peaceful getaway from busy day to day life. We will definitely be booking again and highly recommend this property!

Just got back from a lovely 3 night stay with my family of five (daughters 10, 8, 8). The location is perfect, so convenient to the city but still very peaceful with lots of room for the kids to run around. They particularly loved the hot tub and the barn cat. The place felt really homey with many personal touches - so much better than the impersonal VRBOs run by management companies. The kitchen had everything we needed and the tap water was excellent. Great water pressure too. 100% would recommend.

Our stay at the cottage was wonderful all around. Everything was clean, functional and as described. We loved and all the animals....my daughter was super sad to leave the barn cat. The sun porch was sunny and comfy to read on and the hot tub was super clean and relaxing (if you leave the jets off you can hear the horses!). The cottage was perfectly located for our needs. It was just a 10-30min drive to anywhere we were visting...downtown Ashville, Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock/Lake Lure. Would definitely stay here if we decide to visit Ashville again!
4.9
Perfect spot to visit. This cottage has the country relaxing feel but close enough to everything you need. We really enjoyed the farm setting, especially the hot tub. This was probably the cleanest VRBO we have stayed. It is a working farm, so know keep that in mind. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us.

Spent a few nights on the horse farm. House was very clean and had everything we needed, even farm fresh eggs! Location is convenient enough to restaurants and stores, average 10 minute drive. Downtown Asheville was about 20-25 minutes. Hot tub was nice and clean. I would recommend the house if you’re looking to feel like you’re in the country but have the mountains close by.
4.9
The place had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub. The fire place is wood, I assumed it was gas because of the glass in pics. Beds were comfortable; 1 of the 2 sofas were comfy. Would like to see farm in summer weather.

We completely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Waking up each morning and having the opportunity to visit the horses was magical. Teri was very generous with her time answering my husband’s questions about the horses. The property was extremely clean and generous equipment with towels, bedding, and kitchen supplies. I can’t say enough great things about this adorable cottage. We will definitely be returning!
