Itinerary for a Week in Southern Utah
Day 1: Check into your reserved place, hit Walmart or Costco for food for the week. If you opted for Costco, maybe think about watching the sunset from Dixie Rock at Pioneer Park (Red Hills Parkway, St. George, Ut). Be sure to visit the Red Hills Desert Garden before sunset as well. You will pass it on your way into the parking lot, and this place is really cool because a lot of the plants are labeled which makes for a great introductory education to Southern Utah. I’d recommend a Café Rio (pork barbacoa salad) dinner before sunset, and a cement ice cream from Nielsen’s Custard after.
Day 2: Zion Narrows! We like to rent bikes on our way into the park We load them on the free Zion shuttles in groups of 2-3 and meet up again at the Temple of Sinawava. We park our bikes in the bike rack and hike to the Narrows (this is an easy walk on a mostly flat, paved 1-mile trail). Once the trail ends, we change into water shoes and hike as far as we can (usually 2 miles with kids on a warm day). I pack blow up water floats in my backpack for the kids and let them float down. This is a kids paradise, where they can climb rocks and splash water. Please note that you do not need a permit to hike up the Narrows from the Temple of Sinawava.
We ride down to the Zion Lodge and have lunch. After lunch, we continue down the road, and at Canyon Junction, we navigate onto the official bike path. Feel free to let the kids stop and play in the river. We end our ride at the Visitors Center near the Watchman Campground. Sometimes we do the ride down twice a day.
Day 3: Zion’s Angel Landing! I recommend doing this hike because the views are just breathtaking, and it is a Zion classic. This is best as a couple's date or for kids older than 12+. This hike is 5 miles roundtrip and starts at the Grotto Trailhead. Don’t leave Zion without going through the tunnel! Park your car off the side of the road and run up Checkerboard Mesa.
Day 4: Bryce Canyon National Park! Don’t miss the Hoodoos! You need to hike under them to really see what they are all about. My favorite trails are the Navajo Loop and Queen’s Garden Trail. You can see a lot from your car, so drive to the end of the road and back again. Be sure to spot the arches near Natural Bridge and Hole In The Rock Road.
Day 5: Explore Sand Hollow on a Maverick Side By Side! Ask the ranger to explain how to find the tunnel and drive through it and explore the area. We love the trails and the different rock formations. If you want to see Sand Hollow from the water, feel free to rent a boat for a day. Many people call Sand Hollow a mini Lake Powell because it has rocks you can jump off and just looks a lot like parts of Lake Powell.
Day 6: Grand Canyon, North Rim! The roads are small, so I recommend traveling both ways in daylight. There is a scenic lodge at the North Rim that has a great menu. The rocking chairs on the patio have spectacular views, and this is a place you could just sit for at least an hour.
Day 7: Snow Canyon & Tuacahn are local gems. One of my favorite Southern Utah hikes is the Lava Flow Trail at Snow Canyon State Park. I pack headlamps and glow sticks for my kids, and enjoy the geology along the way. The trail comes across an open lava tube with a natural staircase into an open cave. This hike is 2.5 miles roundtrip.

This property was perfect for our getaway to St. George! We went with 2 other families and had 7 young kiddos (under 6) and we all had a blast! The castle bunk beds were a huge hit! The water park was amazing and the included amenities were super convenient. The house had everything we could possibly need. Dana was very responsive and super helpful if we ever needed anything. 10/10 would recommend and we may even come back and visit again!

We book a home at Paradise every year for a “start of summer bash!” And this has been our favorite house yet and we have stayed in many. Location is amazing, right in between both pools with tons of parking nearby.
The home was perfectly clean and well kept but not too “done up” that we felt like we had to police our children the whole time. VERY kid friendly with an amazing loft area with great toys and game, the castle bunk beds were a huge hit. Home was clean, super organized and had everything we needed. Tons of space and very well thought out for exactly what you would need.
Pack n plays in every room for babies as well as so many fun toys/pool items in the garage. The sleeping mats were helpful as well!
The only hiccup we ran into was having the wrong code for the door at checkin and that was easily remedied with a quick call to Dana.
We actually text her after checking in to see if we could book another night we were so impressed and loved it so much. We can’t wait to go back!!

Wonderful Stay!
This property was fantastic. It was extremely clean and well organized. The information was up to date and correct with all the activities available. The two beautiful pools in the community were clean with lot of seating. We played pickleball and volleyball and had a wonderful time. There were only 12 of us instead of the 16 we planned on so it was plenty roomy, and would have worked easily with 16 too. The large kitchen was well stocked and labeled which mad it easy to find things. An all over wonderful place to stay and I would come here again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Family Vacation Spot
We had an amazing stay at Paradise Village. The house was beautiful and had all the amenities and conveniences to make our vacation smooth and relaxing. Dana was great to work with - responsive and helpful to all our inquiries. The views from the balcony upstairs were breathtaking. We were located five minutes from a grocery store and about twenty minutes from the city which offered so much to see and do. Highly recommended! Would rent again!

Excellent location, convenient to pool and water slides. Lovely balcony with plenty of outdoor seating. The kids loved the playroom. We appreciated having King beds for all of the adults, and plenty of bathrooms and living space. The playroom castle beds could use a good cleaning. There were cracker crumbs in the bedding, and some kind of sticky liquid on the wall, but overall the unit was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful home!
Dana is an amazing host. She has everything you could ever need in her home and she responds to messages quickly. The home is close to both pools and pickleball and volleyball... we had 8 adults and 6 kids and had more than enough room. The kids loved the upstairs main room for movies..all the toys...games and sleeping in the castles.
The home was clean and beautiful...would definitely recommend.

Great pool for all ages
It was a great place to stay - the pool was perfect and the proximity to Tuacahn was awesome. We had a great time! It was great for all ages! Only suggestion would be to have the AC turned down a bit more upon arrival. It was 77 when we got there which is too warm for us :-).

Our family had an amazing time at the condo. It is a spectacular location- minutes from Tuacahn and Snow Canyon as well as around the corner from the nicest Harmons I’ve ever seen. The toys available are so thoughtful and family friendly. We had so many pool toys (although we couldn’t find the noodles in the picture- but we had the wagon and so many inflatables! We had pickle ball set and were 60 second walk to the large park for bike riding/pickle ball and a longer walk to the amazing playground in the park. The condo is centered between the two amazing pools- 1-2 minute walk either direction! Our children loved the kids loft- it kept them so entertained and sleeping well. The only thing I would change would be we would have loved to have a throw or two while watching tv and instead we used a couple of extra comforters.Thank you for such an amazing place!

Great Property - Tons of extras!
This place has everything we needed plus some. Packed with board games, xbox, castles for the kids, ping pong, foosball, FULLY stocked kitchen (microwave to a Fondu Pot and everything in between). We were surprised to know that so much was provided for us. Great floor plan, nice king beds. Will return for sure!

Weekend
We enjoyed the pit stop. Booking online was easy, checking and out piece of cake. I did notice there was some trash under the beds only because grandma who has Demetia made us inspects her room before she went to bed. Only problem was not being able to latch the dishwasher to start it. We took our trash with us because the cans were full since we read there would be a fine for excessive trash. The pull out bed upstairs didn’t look very stable the kids didn’t mind sleeping on the floor. Overall we enjoyed the little rest stop we made. We were able to enjoy dinner after our visit to Sand Hallow and get rest. Having access to a full kitchen made serving breakfast easy. Thanks for having the necessary accommodations.

Overall good experience
We've stayed at several properties in this neighborhood now. We were a little underwhelmed at some of the little things (not enough TP, 2 garbage bags for the week, 2 rolls of paper towels, etc.). These aren't major, but worth mentioning as they weren't an issue in the other properties we've stayed at in this community.
Dirty floors and linens was the biggest complaint at our time here. Carpets were visibly dirty (as were our feet after walking on them) and the tile was not clean. We had a couple linen issues where they hadn't been cleaned upon our arrival.
We had some issues getting into the property, but they worked to help us get it resolved within 30 minutes.
Overall we had a good week. I would recommend it despite some of the small issues we experienced.

Perfect House for Young Children
Dana and was nice and eager to take care of things that needed improvement. The broken sofa bed past renters had caused and she was unaware of, was a problem for us. The virus has made life difficult for everyone and I know she will now be able to take time to fix the things I called her attention to. We all enjoyed our stay in this nice house and great pools.

This literally is THE PLACE

- 8 person outdoor dining table on first level
- Access to TWO separate pools/water parks
- Access to 6 pickle ball courts, sand volleyball, park
- Truly walking distance to Harmon’s and Cafe Rio
- 4 Master Suites - all with King beds, attached bathrooms, walk in closets.
- 2 castle bunk beds which kids LOVE
- Waffle towels
- Comfortable beds and sheets
- 2 washers and 2 dryers
- Ping pong table, board games, pickle ball paddles and ball
- Toddler wagon to tow kids to pool/park
- Kids dining table
- Etc. Etc. Etc.
- The VIEWS!!!! Incredible. Red rock and snow capped mountains.
Dana thought of everything.
We found our go-to spot from now on!

This rental was perfect for our family. The kids loved the castle bunk beds. It wasn't as warm as we were hoping so no swimming in the community pool but the hot tub on our upstairs patio was awesome. It was great that there were swim towels so we didn't have to use our bath towels coming out of the hot tub. The kitchen was great, had all we needed. We were less than a mile from Harmons grocery store and some restaurants. No complaints from any of our family members. We had nine adults and fie kids in our group. Plenty of parking. Dana was so easy to work with when we needed an early checkin to get ready for our daughter's wedding. Would definitely recommend this rental for a large family.

Wonderful for family stays
We had a great experience at this property. Our kids loved the toys and bunk beds! We were quickly able to get ahold of the owner when we had an issue (unrelated to the house, we just couldn't figure out the lock :) ) and we had everything we needed for our stay and more.

Awesome pools! We loved this place!! Loved the patio and hot tub! Beautiful kitchen!
We had a great time. There were A Lot of people at this complex over Memorial Day so it was very busy. We had some issues with people parking in front of us in the big parking lot where we were keeping our trailers with RZRs.
The pools were awesome, but I got a little annoyed with the woman going around and kicking people out or getting mad at people for having food in the pool area. Which ok, I get it, there is a sign that says no food. However, we could buy her food she was selling in the pool area. If it’s not food than all food. Just my opinion. She was very rude to my sister in law who was giving her 2 year old some goldfish. He’s 2. . .
Other than that we had a great time!

Beautiful house with great ammenities!
Had a great 3 day weekend enjoying the house and the subdivision's pools and hot tubs. Clean, beautiful, new house. Loved the personal hot tub and heated community pool, even in the snow! The owner was easy to work with and super helpful in navigating the local area.

BEST PLACE EVER!!!
This is a fabulous property that was built to house a multiple family reunion! The whole place was super kid-friendly and clean, clean, clean! I loved the amenities and the kid's loft was also a huge hit! We all ate at Cafe Rio which is just a block away and the kids played team baseball just footsteps from our front door. I loved the functionality and exceptionally well-planned out space. I would like to bring my parents and sisters back for a stay this summer when the water park opens. We did use the existing community pools, and the larger tiered pool was open with the water slide and that was fun for all the kids enjoying winter sunshine!
