About this house rental
SPACIOUS BEACH HOUSE WITH A POOL - After that satisfying stroll along the beach - perhaps walking your dog, the tap is well placed to wash the sand from your feet before entering this open plan beach house.
This is a home where you will spend most of your time out on the back deck quietly reading and listening to the birds when alone, entertaining the family or watching the children in the pool.
From the front entry, the lounge area with fireplace waiting for those cool winter nights leads to a modern functional kitchen. Walk out the back to nearly 30 m2 of raised timber deck equipped with outdoor setting and BBQ, then gaze across the pool and fully fenced yard to farmland where more often than not, cattle can be seen peacefully grazing or resting under distant trees.
A spray of palms provides shade to the pool by day while at night, spotlights enhance the pool area and entice you in for that refreshing evening swim.
For those with a passion for outdoor cooking, the wood fired outdoor pizza oven has cooked many a tasty pizza.
This 1960/70's home has had a number of improvements made over the years to improve its a function and appeal.
The 2 larger bedrooms could have been combined from 4 in an earlier life. Both rooms are air conditioned for comfort during those hot summer nights. The 3rd is a smaller single bedroom . You will find a Queen size bed in the main, Double bed and set of bunks in the 2nd and king size single bed in the 3rd.
The bathroom comprises shower and toilet with a 2nd separate toilet next to the laundry.
*** Please Note:
1. Linen (sheets, pillow cases & towels) are not provided standard. Most Guests prefer to bring their own. A hire service is available.
2. A standard exit clean charge is NOT automatically applied to your booking. After booking, guests have the option to pay the exit clean fee direct to the Owner, or clean themselves to save funds.
Optional:
1. Guests can hire linen ($85 per week (minimum 1 weeks stay) by direct request to the Owner after booking.
2. A departure clean service ($125) is also available by request to the Owner.
Great Location
For most casual walkers, the beach is a 2-3 minute walk away from the house. Take a 15-20 minute stroll or 3-4 minute drive south along the beachfront to the Kingscliff retail strip and shopping centre. With its village type atmosphere, most demands are well catered for such as the local artists shop and clothing labels. When eating out, make your choice from a wide variety of restaurants, surf or sports club, takeaways and the local hotel.
Beach fishing is often successful and the creek inlet on the southern side of the shopping strip has a boat ramp as well as being a delightful sheltered place to swim - especially on the high tide.
For that day trip you might want to explore the local hinterland created from what was once a vast volcanic region worn down over millions of years or enjoy boating, fishing or swimming on the Tweed River. Murwillumbah is known for its famous art gallery and Mount Warning which rises above the local landscape.
Bring the family pet along as the property is pet friendly with a fully fenced rear yard. When walking the beach, the off leash zone is about 1 kilometre north of the property. A Pet fee (noted here) applies when bringing your pets.
Peaceful & Relaxing
Ideally suited to the family or couple (or 2 couples if house sharing), that appreciate a measure of privacy, open space and a rural backyard setting so close to the beach.

My partner and I , and our 2 dogs had a beautiful time. The house is perfect. Our dogs loved the space and everything just worked perfectly for all of us. The host made sure we had what we needed. We can not fault the house and the location. Thank you.

Awesome location
Everything you need
A dryer wouldn’t go astray, most of our stays in Kingscliff are June; so future stays we will be happy in this house. But a dryer would be a positive.

We stayed for 3 nights when we were attending a family wedding. What a great find this house was! Lots of room, clean, quiet, great location and all the essentials. Would definately recommend and stay again! Thanks Phil 👌

This house was lovely. Close to the beach. The yard was secure for the dog and the young children to run around. Plenty of seating for everyone in every living area.
Some maintenance for the pool required but the weather we just had made that a bit difficult. Some more thorough cleaning might be a good idea aswell. But for the price and location we were very happy. Thank you

We love this property. We’ve stayed here every year since we found it and it never disappoints. Loved every minute of our stay & so close to everything. Pool’s a bonus as well as the cows strolling past the back fence. Wonderful!

House has everything you need. Lots of things to keep you entertained TV, pool, books, games, wifi. Relaxing on back deck with a cold drink was our favourite thing to do. Close 3min walk to beach & 15 min walk or 5min ride into town. Central spot to base yourself to explore the Tweed. Air-conditioning came in handy as it was extra hot the week we visited. An older style house & furnishings but kept pretty clean. Plenty of room. Lots of necessities provided which was really helpful.

Great location. Short walk to beach and cafes. Spent most of our time on the back balcony. So peaceful and cool sea breezes. And plenty of wildlife to admire. Great to cool off in the pool. Also bonus were able to bring our furkids. Would recommend staying at Phil’s place

We recently stayed over the New Year period.
We loved the property. It has great beach vibes, a beautiful pool, backyard and a lovely view of farm land. The deck and BBQ are an absolute highlight. Beds are comfy too. The beach is one street away and great for families with dogs as it’s an all day on leash area (the off leash is about 1.5km to the north). Highly recommended.

Nice big and spacious and easy location with lots of comforts - the deck, pool, lots of beds.
The floor needs re-sealing which would freshen up the whole house, but nice having a wooden floor.
The shower head needs replacing, but the water was lovely and hot.
A dishwasher would be an added bonus.
Generally a good beach house close to a beautiful beach location where you can bring your pet and have a lovely family holiday.
This is our 3rd Stayz booking.

We really enjoyed our stay at Phil’s accommodation. Whilst the house is old, it’s spacious and very comfortable. Private back yard with pool and big verandah. Our mini poodle loved exploring in a secure garden. Location is perfect - so close to the beach and a nice walk to the restaurants and shops. Phil was excellent with communicating and we would definitely recommend staying here. It is ideal for a family or even 2 couples. Plenty of space. Thanks Phil.

The overall stay was amazing, we had maximum guests with pets and found the property to be spacious and accommodating with pets only down side was the gas in the bbq was empty however after talking with Phil realized this was due to new cleaners. Would happily stay again! The property is much better than photos show they don't do justice!
