This was the perfect vacation rental. We booked it for a girls trip and there was no shortage of amazing restaurants and great local shops within walking distance. The location is perfect - it’s on the end of the main street, which was very convenient. The Farmers Market on Saturdays is a must! The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. The rooftop area was beautiful! Thank you - we’ll be back again!

Absolutely gorgeous condo! Beautiful online, even more beautiful in person. Comfy beds, clean, has everything you need 😊. We went to Sutter St Steakhouse at 7 on a Saturday night, told them we were staying in the penthouse and they found a table for us. We needed more time there! Wonderful experience!

It is located in a great downtown location. Walking distance to all restaurants and night life. Front balcony and rooftop is great for enjoying your coffee in the morning and a evening cocktail as you watch the people mingling downtown. If you have the opportunity to stay at this location don’t pass it up!

This Folsom penthouse is stunning. From high end appliances to a deep soaker tub, separate huge walk in shower, beautiful stack stone living room fireplace, rooftop deck with outdoor fire pit and breathtaking scenery everything was perfect for our relaxing vacation. We had morning coffee on our charming balcony viewing historic Sutter Street, the Cliff House and even a bit of the Rainbow Bridge over the river. Then evenings on the roof with a cozy fire and mesmerizing sunsets. Our host, Doug, made sure check in was a breeze and everything was to our liking. He suggested the perfect restaurant for my birthday dinner and he was right! The Sutter Street Steak House did not disappoint! We went for walks along beautiful Lake Natoma’s shore. Saw kayak and paddle boarding. :) This is a lovely place to enjoy.

well tended, thoughtful small elements such as dish detergent and paper towels. the secondary bedroom was used by my guest, my sister. She found that the tub was slippery and bought a mat, And the liquid hand soap dispenser was empty. Also someone may need to do a check on connections for DIRECT TV in the main living area. One remote was missing a battery, and we were not able to connect with regular DIRECT TV in that room.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Family of four with two teens. Beautiful property. So many amenities inside and so close to everything. Owner was always immediately communicative. Even decorated for holidays with a Christmas tree which was an u expected surprise for kids. Would give more than five stars if we could. It was truly perfect.

We had a great time staying on Sutter and enjoying the rooftop. We would highly recommend staying here and we will likely be back. Just can’t beat the location and (yes I’m mentioning again) the rooftop!

Perfect location to meet up with family in the Sacramento area. Lots to do right outside the front door. Tasty restaurants and fun shops. The condo was very nice and updated. We loved watching the sun set from the rooftop!

It was great to be able to walk to so many shops, restaurants, the walking trails along the lake and more. Very nicely equipped kitchen although we ate most meals out.

This place is fantastic and absolutely lives up to the images you see in the listing. Beautiful sunsets from the rooftop, a well equipped kitchen, bbq, very comfy beds and a great location -- this place really does have it all. Downtown Folsom gets really busy at night, but no worries, because if you decide to turn in before the excitement ends the bedrooms are both located at the rear of the unit so it's really quiet back there. Plus when you let yourself in and out of the front door people will always ask 1) if you live there, and 2) what it's like inside -- so you kind of feel like a local celebrity whilst staying there. Greg, the host, is very helpful and kind too, and even let us check out a bit later so we could catch up with some family for brunch. We will be back for sure!

If you are looking for a spot to stay in Folsom, look no further! This is a gorgeous penthouse/loft in the perfect location amongst all the best food and shopping in Historic Folsom. Whether you are on a semi-stay vacation for a quick getaway, long weekend, or an out of town guest, you will have everything you need inside this stylish loft. The location provides access to a variety of activities during the day, endless options for casual or fine dining, and magnificent nightlife right outside your door. Don’t worry, the sounds of the street fade as you make your way up to the third floor where you have magnificent views from the window, balcony, or rooftop deck. Business or pleasure or both, you won’t be disappointed!
*Places to check out-Sutter Street Steakhouse (fine dining) and Plank (delicious food and cocktails), both located right across the street and are amazing. Pop in next door to Citizen Vine for an amazing selection of wine and a delicious charcuterie board. Breakfast at Q’bole was so good we went there twice. Scott’s Seafood oysters, caviar, espresso martinis and more is well worth the short walk down towards the other end of Sutter street. We enjoyed the nightlife at Folsom Hotel bar & Scarlet’s Saloon (DJ, dancing, cigar area-for those looking for a more adventurous evening-fantastic people watching!) We had a great time breaking out at Escape Folsom (& yes…we made it out!).
Activities: wine tasting, olive oil tasting, shopping, candle making, chocolate sampling at Snooks, live music, museums (Folsom history, train and pioneer village-kids can pan for gold), bike rentals for rides on miles of bike paths, axe throwing, escape room, catch a show at the play house or mystery dinner, the street is filled with unique little shops and boutiques you won’t find anywhere else.

We sat on the balcony watching the very fun and well attended Halloween parties up and down Sutter Street on the Saturday night of Halloween. Unexpected bonus of the condo location. Easy to park outside on the street, walk to everything!

Second time staying at the penthouse, it’s just great. Doug is super easy to work with (we had to change our dates because of work and he made it seamless!)
The penthouse is beautiful, the views are fabulous in the fall. We are bike riders and Folsom has the best trails anywhere! I work part of the day (fast Wifi), my partner goes fishing, then we bike the remainder. We put our bikes in the downstairs foyer so we can take off right from the penthouse!

Everything about the penthouse is five stars! Doug is great! We will be back for sure!

This place was exceptional. We rented it for our wedding weekend and my husband stayed here the night before our wedding and we stayed here the night of our wedding. This place really made our wedding weekend TOP NOTCH. This place beat our expectations and the roof top was amazing. We shared our first look on the roof overlooking Folsom. The family that stopped by- was blown away and loved it. It was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better place at all!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Location is close to so many restaurants and activities. Watching the sunset on the rooftop is a must. We will definitely rebook.

Aside from the surprise of stairs when we first arrived, we absolutely loved this place! It was super clean with every supply you would need. The location was prime. The view was amazing. The setup was perfect. The beds were super comfortable. Two bathrooms for two couples was perfect. The balcony upstairs on the roof was a great surprise but the weather (SO HOT) kept us inside for the most part. I would definitely rent this place again. It was a great time and a great place to stay with so much to do on the street. Even with just opening up after the pandemic. 5 stars!

Decent place, very spacious. Downside was restaurant noise at night.

What a great property in an excellent location. The unit is beautiful and comfy. We had a great time on the rooftop deck even in the chilly weather. It's within walking distance to everything. Great outdoor dinning, fun shopping, fantastic nature trails for hiking and a farmers market. We did it all!

The place is beautiful and Doug is a great host everything perfect
