We loved the property. It has clearly been recently updated as everything looked brand new. It is spacious, clean and has all the amenities. It's in a prime location in the heart of Vail. The "only" issues we had was noise from the street early in the morning. Right next to the condo is the end of the street and many trucks park to deliver things, and there is also trash collection and it's quite noisy (usually starting 6:30am). (Would be great to replace windows to make it more quiet and to save on energy). But overall we loved the property and would go back any day!

For the price,I expect perfect. However, I recommend the following: -Access is very confusing. First, we have to grab the keys 2 blocks away from the place. Then, illegally park to unload our stuff. We walked up three flights of steps with luggage before realizing we were in the wrong place. Then, you have to park your car a block away, three floors underground in a dirty parking garage. For the price, wouldn’t it be nice to have someone help us with our things and show us to the place? -A flight of steps: It doesn’t sound like a big deal, but it is. With skis everyday- it’s a pain. I recommend including access to ski valet included with our stay. Access to the place is less than pleasant. There is a kitchen right at our steps, and they keep their door open all day and leave trash and food on the sidewalk that we have to walk basically over. For the price, it is not pleasant. -Maintenance: Management needs to perform a thorough walkthrough of the place before we arrive. 50% of the lightbulbs were out in the dining room, fireplace didn’t work (they fixed it but two days later it didn’t work), no laundry detergent, lightbulb out in main bedroom, baseboard heater in one bedroom was broken and mechanics were exposed which was unpleasant, and the ice maker doesn’t work well. By the third day we were out of ice. These little details add up and while they did address the issues, why didn’t someone perform a pre walkthrough before we arrived? -HEAT! None of the thermostats work and we had to sleep with the windows open! The place (with the fireplace off and all thermostats off) was between 76-80 degrees. And while it sounds nice to keep the windows open, we were on the main road and between 3AM and 5AM, the trash trucks would park right at our windows (every other day) and idle for an hour. Not to mention all of the other delivery trucks. There is no reason we should not be able to regulate the temperature in the place. (This is also an obvious issue as they have provided box fans in the rooms- I’m sure many others complained about this. For the price, this should not be a problem. -Photos: Photos do not show the exterior of the apartment that was in the photos. They show the front nice side of Patagonia, however, the photos should show images of the back side of Patagonia where we actually enter the place. - If you want to charge a premium- then I highly recommend improvements as I left the place feeling underwhelmed and that I overpaid.

We spent Christmas here and it was like being in a snow globe! This three bedroom condo was perfect for our family, Mom and Dad and five kids. The location above the Patagonia store is so fun. There are beautiful big windows with spectacular views of Vail village and then it is only a few minutes walk to Gondola One. Thank you.

Great location in Vail Village
Great location in Vail Village
Great location, good sized unit. It could use an update or a remodel, but everything worked and the beds were fine. A nice view of the creek from the living room windows. Bedroom and bathroom configuration and quantity easily accommodated 6. Some downsides - wifi was inconsistent to the point of being unusable. No AC so the unit was a little warm when it was 80 out, but opening the windows helped. There was some street noise, but that was expected due to the location.

great condo at ground zero in Vail Village
great condo at ground zero in Vail Village
What a great location - can't think of one any better! Right in the heart of the village above the Patagonia store. Second floor walk-up condo, nice sized bedrooms, each with own bath (dated, 70s style). Some street noise from both late night revelers and early morning trucks. Access to Christiana Lodge facilities - pool, great breakfast ($10) - and access to the Vail Athletic Club/Wellness Center which is about 2 blocks away. Christiana staff is terrific! Looking forward to coming back!
