The second-floor features 2 very large bedrooms - each with two dressers and tons of closet space.
One bedroom features a meditation space so you can "namaste your stay," while the other has a full-sized desk to give you a quiet space for creative moments. Optional crib set up for guests with little ones.
Upstairs, you'll also find a Jack & Jill bathroom with double vanity and ample counter space. Please note: all guests will need to access the bathroom through either of the bedrooms (there’s no access from the hallway).
You'll have access to the house via your own, separate entrance. This means you'll also have your own bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining area - giving you privacy throughout your stay.

Each bedroom also features a USB charging station to keep your mobile devices up and running. We've also got you covered with toiletries, towels, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
Light sleeper? We have a white noise/sound spa machine in each bedroom to help light sleepers and little ones catch some ZZZs, as well as room darkening curtains in the bedrooms. In case you plan to hit the beach while in town, we also have guest beach towels available upon request.
To help us fully prepare for all guests, check-in is available between 4pm and 11pm.
We live on-site in the addition (back unit) of the house with our beautiful daughter, Cavapoo and Goldendoodle puppy. This listing is for the original house (front unit) but you can receive a special visit from them if you like adorable little ones!
If you happen to need anything during your stay, we're here to help. All guests will be greeted by me shortly after their arrival and given a brief tour of the house to discuss key items and house rules. The guest who booked the reservation will need to make themselves available for about 5 minutes for this "official welcome." Once you've officially been welcomed, we'll be hands-off so you can enjoy your time here.

Spectacular visit! Everything was wonderful and exactly as depicted. Sharla is personable, friendly super helpful and extremely responsive with any questions! We had a great stay in the Saratoga Springs area… Plenty of wonderful recommendations and the property was a five star experience!!!! Convenient to everything, very clean, nicely decorated, lots of attention to detail - all the personal touches you would hope to find in a home away from home!!! We will certainly book again when we return to the area!

Sharla even picked up the milk we preferred for our morning coffee! Delightful young lady!

Spent three nights with a girlfriend in this cozy cottage just a short walk from Broadway, downtown Saratoga. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, and Sharla, the owner, provided numerous amenities. The place was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Check-in and check-out were simple, and the neighborhood was quiet. I’d definitely stay at Sharla’s place again if I return to Saratoga!!

My wife and I planned a mini-trip (2 night, midweek) to Saratoga and we had a great time. Super cute town, great restaurants, very walkable downtown, and the racetrack is a must! Sharla is an amazing host! She provided great recommendations for dining and activities, and she made us feel super welcome!

We arrived on Friday, the house was ready, clean, cool and welcoming. Sharla was very communicative. We ate dinner @ dizzy chicken which was delicious. There are lots of dinner, live music and bars in town to choose from depending on your taste. The house is a great location, note parking is about a block away, we parked by Carbona's which is a great deli. Check out The Local for lunch or dinner and Uncommon Grounds on Broadway for coffee and breakfast.

I was pleased with the cleanliness and condition of the property. I could tell the Host Sharla, took pride in ensuring her guests were comfortable and familiar with the area. My only regret was that I couldn’t stay longer. I would stay at this property again without hesitation.

What a gem! !Sharla's house had everything our family needed including a full kitchen, lots of space and walking distance to everything downtown. You can tell that she puts alot of effort into making guests feel at home. Check in was a breeze, the house was spotless, beds were comfortable and Sharla even left us some local treats to enjoy. My favorite part though was the zen den! We had such a nice stay, I just wish we had stayed longer. Thanks Sharla we'll be back.

Cozy and wonderful!
We stayed at Sharla's house and couldn't have been happier. The house was clean and cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the thoughtful touches Sharla left throughout the house which made us feel like we were staying at a friend's house. We also loved being able to walk to all of the restaurants and shops downtown. Sharla gave us some great suggestions of things to do (and eat) which was really helpful too. We left feeling well rested and recharged after a wonderful stay. Thanks Sharla for everything - we'll be back again next year!

RENTERS BE AWARE!
Unfortunately, Sharla used our renters insurance to make upgrades to her place. Sharla claimed that we created grooves on the floor in two different locations. We did not spend any time in the areas that had the damage and we did not have anything heavy enough to create the grooves. Also, the pictures that she sent clearly shows floor wax build up in the grooves, indicating that the damage has been there for a very long time (probably years).
The beds in the home also need to be upgraded, so I am sure the next renter(s) with insurance will have "damaged" the beds somehow. It was actually a good stay, and Sharla was very nice and accommodating while we were there. However, It is very unfortunate that she uses her customers as pawns to upgrade their business investment.

A great stay in Saratoga
This was the perfect girls weekend, destination, and stay. Sharla made this effortless. The property was pristine. From kitchen necessities to the most comfortable bedding, we felt we needed for nothing; and could truly relax and enjoy a weekend away. The location was perfect. A short 10 minute walk to to Broadway for day and evening fun. Grocery and quick eats are only blocks away. 100% we would stay again and recommend to others!

Lovely Place!
This sweet gem is worth a look- close to downtown for that cozy getaway. Since it was raining the whole weekend we were in Saratoga, it was a little inconvenient to have to park on a side street, but this wouldn’t be an issue in good weather. Overall it was a great time!!

Quiet and Super Clean House
Sharla is an amazing attentive hostess. This house is so cute and the neighborhood is super quiet. Definitely stay in this house!
It is a walkable distance to Broadway but not if you are dressed up with heels. Parking is not an issue around the corner.

Girls Weekend
Sharla is an amazing host and we had a wonderful weekend at her property. The location is perfect - a short 5 minute walk to the Beekman Arts district and a 10 minute walk or quick drive to downtown shops and restaurants We took advantage of Sharla's restaurant recommendations and we were not disappointed! She has lots of knowledge of the area and will steer you in the right direction. The property itself is spotless; it was cleaner than a hotel room. My friends took the 2 bedrooms, and I slept on the futon which was very comfortable. I highly recommend this property!

Not Enough Stars for Host and Property
Spectacular host and property! The online listing is absolutely accurate, but can't convey the absolute cleanliness of this property, nor the incredible thoughtfulness of your host, Sharla. Everything is very thoughtfully provided for, and each corner you turn brings another delightful touch - a lovely welcome message, great notes about local offerings, menus, and a truly well stocked kitchen that includes great cookbooks! The property created a space for a joyful reunion with our adult children after many months of pandemic-enforced separation and all of us left feeling happy, restored and relaxed. Simply the best!

We just returned from our mini-break in Saratoga Springs. We rented Sharla's place and we were very happy with it. The house is really nicely decorated, really well stocked (we didn't need to buy anything; we normally do a grocery shopping for basics such as salt and pepper, coffee filters, etc.), including toiletries. Sharla was really nice, welcomed us upon arrival and let us know about things we can do in Saratoga. The house is a short walk to Broadway, full of restaurants, bakeries and a lovely bookstore. A short drive away, there are several slopes and trails to enjoy. We did everything: sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and alpine skiing (and we're not even that outdoorsy, it was just beautiful). I highly recommend this place. We'll probably be back next winter for more fun.

Such a great location, close to Broadway and Saratoga Springs’ shops and restaurants. Everything was as described - the cottage is immaculately clean, well equipped and comfortable for a relaxing stay. A delightful stay with a super host
We opened the door and walked into a self-sufficient kitchen and then we walked up to see two beautiful well-lit rooms with surprise gifts welcoming my son and me.
My son was going to Skidmore College, and he wanted to spend a week rowing in the community program. We stayed at the premise for nine days. Sharla gave my son a great surprise - a Skidmore sweat blanket. What a huge welcome gift; it was not only heartwarming for us, it also meant a great deal for a new student in a new city.
We loved our rooms and the shared bathroom - everything you could think of was provided. There was also a basket of welcome local snacks in the dining area which I thought I could resist them, but in the end I munched a few delicious chips and the famous local chocolate horse apple. There was also extra water bottled water in the fridge.
The location was great. Everywhere was within a 10-minute drive away: the school, the boat house, the banks, the gas stations, the deli, the gym (YMCA), and of course, the restaurants along Broadway.
Parking was not designated, but there was free and safe street parking close to the house with no worries for being towed away. For laundry maniac who wants clean clothes everyday, there is a clean and popular laundromat close by. Sharla was so nice that she also offered to do laundry service for us, but we preferred to do our own as we were used to it.
Would I stay here the next time? For sure. I highly recommend it for families with or without kids.

Thanks again Sharla!
