Great place

We've stayed here for years. Alison's house is always immaculate and completely furnished with many amenities, grill on the deck, and beach stuff in the garage. It's great as a home base to explore the Cape.

The house was on a main road and looked smaller than the photos. When we entered a swelteringly hot and humid house in the afternoon we quickly began to wilt. We measured over 90 degrees both upstairs and down. The house had been unoccupied for 2 weeks with the AC off and no ventilation. 5 small window air conditioners took nearly 48 hours just to get the house temperature down to 76.
Worse, the heat and humidity caused mold to grow on the toilet seat and shower walls in the 1st floor bath. My wife cleaned the toilet seat herself before even unpacking (long day of driving), then contacted the owner via text. There were other cleanliness issues including debris and colored liquid in a refrigerator bin.
The front door was stuck so badly it took me 5 minutes to get it open the first day, even longer several days later. This needs immediate attention. There is a bolt lock at the very bottom of the door, which no one would think to look for in an emergency.
The owner did respond to our concerns the same day we arrived. She was aghast we found the house with such problems. She arranged for a cleaning person the next day and is refunding 1 day’s rent and the cleaning fee.
On the plus side, the family room, kitchen, and formal living room were pretty large and easily accommodated 7 of us at the peak. Beds were comfortable, and the roomy kitchen allowed several cooks to work at the same time.
We enjoy this part of the Cape and overall had a good time.

My family and I stayed here July 6-13 and we were very pleased with the house, there was plenty of room for everyone and very close to everything. The house had everything we needed and there were toys and games for the kids which they enjoyed. The garage had chairs and beach toys, and we used the stroller that was there. I would definitely rent this house again.

A group of six women went to the Cape for a four day getaway. We do this about once a year. We’ve been friends for close to 40 years all of us. The house was spotless. The floors were beautiful. AC worked great. Kitchen was very well stocked.I’m going back in July so I expect it to be the same. Oh, I was very responsive.

The house was clean with plenty of rooms/beds. The kitchen was fully supplied and there were plenty of other supplies as well (towels, sheets, toilet paper, etc.). The back deck is a good size with a table and plenty of seating. The road the house is on could be pretty busy, but that isn’t a big enough reason for us to not want to stay again!

Five of us live in New York State and we have 4 cousins who live in Marstons Mills. We rarely see each other anymore and when we do it is usually a wake or funeral; our ages range from 60-86!! We decided to spend a weekend at the Cape to catch up with each other. The property was a great location for us and the open kitchen, dining, family room was a perfect gathering space for us on Saturday afternoon. The house was clean and comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen. The weather was cool and cloudy so it was an indoor weekend, but there is a lovely deck for nice weather. Thank you for sharing your lovely property with us!

This was a great property on the Cape. I grew up going to visit my grandparents on the Cape and this house had all the character and charm of a classic house on the Cape. It not just feel like a generic house that could have been anywhere. It's a great location to access all parts of the Cape. The host was very responsive and caring. The property had plenty of room for everyone and enough to keep the kids entertained while the adults chatted. It was a little chilly so we didn't get to spend time outside but the yard and the deck looked lovely!

Home was clean and had enough beds for our party. The listing said there was a spa, which we thought might be a hot tub, but it was not. We did bring most of our own towels and bedding to limit the laundry we'd have to do in the morning before check-out. Overall, this was a great option for our group to attend a wedding in Sandwich MA.

House is conveniently located and was clean and comfortable. We used it as our accommodations for a softball tournament and it met our needs perfectly...close to the fields, close to beaches, close to good restaurants, and plenty of room for me and my teammates. Host is pleasant and very easy to work with.

You know it's a good one when you say more than once "I could live here!" This home was so comfortable for our summer family vacation. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the bedrooms were very large. The very large kitchen (fully stocked) was great for the nights we had meals at home. It was super clean and had plenty of sheets and towels on hand. Being mid cape, it was a perfect location for anywhere we went. Stores and the bike trail were only about a mile away. Alison was wonderful to work with. She is very interested in knowing who is staying in her home and was so very friendly and kind. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if/when we vacation on the Cape again!

We're repeat customers for this property. We've been here for numerous vacation weeks in the summer. The house is spotless, plenty of bedrooms and furnishings. This year we covered ground from Falmouth to Provincetown. We went to the beach, rail trail, bowling, hiking, touring a lighthouse and mansion. Not to mention food and ice cream!

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect and had everything we needed . My husband and I rented it for the week for my daughter and her family visiting from clinton Missouri and my cousin and his girlfriend from Oneida NY and us from Munnsville NY. The guys went on an overnight fishing trip and the girls went on a whale watch. The location of the house was close to both places and so easy to get to. Allison the owner was so nice talking to her was like talking to a longtime family friend 😊

This property was just perfect for all nine of us, ages 3 - almost 80. It was easy access to multiple beaches, including Mayfloer, which is the perfect small children's beach, and, yes, does have a beach wheelchair, which can be reserved for the other end of the age spectrum. This was the best-equipped VRBO property I have ever stayed in - from kitchen gadgets to games to beach necessities. Alison, the owner, was very accessible prior to our trip, and answered every question. Actually, every question except a recommendation for a catered clambake. I can now answer that myself, and say that Jake's clambakes was wonderful, and I would recommend unreservedly. Thank you, Alison, for your part in making this long-awaited family vacation as much fun as it was!

This was the perfect spot - halfway between Provincetown and Woods Hole. The house was spacious for the 10 of us. All that we needed was provided.

The property is located in a great spot and is every bit as nice as the pictures indicate. We had easy access to both ocean and bay beaches and the house was a lovely place to have a family gettogether with our 6 adults and 1 child.
Alison was great to work with and answered any and all questions that we had. I would stay here again!

We've been staying at this property for about 30 years now! It is centrally located on the Cape and equidistant from beaches, trails, restaurants, mini-golf, and you can easily get to Ptown or Falmouth. BTW, the house is always cozy and immaculate. It has all the amenities you will need for a beach vacation! As usual, we'll try to return next year!

Two wonderful weeks on the cape with my family in this wonderful Cape home! The home is well maintained and very clean! A great open floor plan offers plenty of space for the family to gather for; dinner, board games, TV watching or sitting around and socializing. There is also plenty of room to spread out for quiet reading, Plenty of great books available if you didn’t bring one along. The kitchen is well appointed with everything needed for a family feast! The basement is a great space for playing foosball and air hockey! Bedrooms are very spacious with many options for large families. The owner is very helpful offering plenty of insights into hiking, dining and other points of interest! Thank you Alison for sharing your home!
