Valerie was such a good host anytime I had a question or concerns she didn’t waste time getting back with me. Very spacious outdoor room especially the pool. Very convenient to grocery stores and other activities.

The best neighborhood. The best house. The best location to the beach. The best host!!! We had the most amazing week! We lucked out with a last minute cancellation and feel so blessed that we met Valerie and were able to rent her house for the week. The neighborhood is perfect for a golf cart rental and morning walks with a stroller. It’s clean and safe and has a park in walking distance! The house itself was perfect! Amazing ocean views (and you can hear the ocean) - plenty of space inside and outside! Very clean and everything was in great condition. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, cookware and utensils. Valerie was responsive, attentive, personable, accommodating and so kind! We are already booked to come back next summer and we can’t wait!

Perfect house for a large group of friends / family!! Sand Volleyball court and pool are perfect activities not to mention the beach right across the street. Highly recommend!!

Our dream was always to spend every Thanksgiving at the beach and we have been to Emerald Isle for 23 years straight. Grandchildren have always loved it and have made many memories there. This property is great, providing space for gathering or for finding a place a little away from hubbub.

As soon as we walked in after quite a long travel day, we broke into "oohs and ahhs". It just clean, bright and accommodating. The owner has thought of so much to help make our stay easy and fun. The pool and volleyball court were a hit! This is in part because the owner supplied the balls and pool toys. Her beach chairs were being used at the beach, of course, and along side the volleyball court. Helpful for my 83-year-old mom. The decks were where we were most when not away from our home away from home. The view and sound of the ocean is surprisingly good from being across the street. I highly recommend this home for large groups.

Valerie is quite possibly the kindest host of any rental property I’ve used! It’s obvious she cares deeply about the experience and comfort of her guests and we felt that the entire length of our stay. The house is well situated near a public beach access but offered enough to keep us entertained through a tropical storm! The kitchen was also well stocked with equipment and spices which was helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s a nice place with close access to the beach and the manager was responsive. The pool guy came on Saturday (we did not know he was going to come) and there is lots of stairs (for those with older family) spacious for our group and loved the second level porch.

Valerie is very helpful. I always received reply very promptly. The house has everything’s for big family. I would love to come back again and stay here for at least a week.

We booked this for a last minute getaway when a cancelation opened the house up. Valerie was great to deal with. Much better than the rental agencies we have gone through for 20+ years. The property was great with a seprate kitchen/living area so the kids had their own space. The beach access was basically right across the street. We had a great time!

Great access to the beach.

This place is amazing. All you need to know. Valerie, the manager, is just a pleasure! Anything you need she is incredibly responsive. The house is steps away from the beach. We sat and drank chai while listening to the waves and watching the ocean. The neighbors was super friendly. We got some great beach runs in. The kids love it every time. Thank you 🙏

We had an amazing time at after dune delight! Everything was great! The house was steps away from the beach, very clean and had the perfect set up for everyone. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved this house for our recent family vacation. We had 8 adults & 7 kids (some teens) with us. Everyone had a great time! The location was great in a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. It's a very easy walk to the beach, and we loved having the pool and volleyball court for fun at the house. There were plenty of pool chairs and outdoor seating on the decks and lots of outdoor/pool toys and board games as well.
The house was clean with very well-stocked kitchens (any size pot or pan you need, serving bowls, storage containers, etc.). We prepared most of our meals in the bigger kitchen, but it was great to have the second ktichen/refrigerator downstairs to store food and drinks. The large decks off of the kitchen and some of the bedrooms were amazing for meals and relaxing and listening to the sounds of the ocean. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we come back to NC! We got to meet the host on the first day as well. She offered helpful directions ahead of the stay, and offered for us to reach out if we needed anything during the stay.

Valerie made sure that our stay was perfect. She had the best communication of any host we’ve ever had. We had one issue with the Roku & she took time out of her day to swing by and fix it. We would certainly use her again if we make it back.
The place is perfectly placed with everything within a few minutes drive. Gaffers have us the best food ever! We had a great time.

The location and the house itself were perfect for our family. It was clean and convenient and comfortable. We loved spending time on the decks, especially sitting out there in the evening after the little ones went to bed. We all enjoyed the pool and the walk to the beach was short and easy. I would be very happy to stay there again.

The house was clean, comfortable and spacious for us 11 family members. Lots of opportunities for activities; food and dining is readily available within short distance. There was practically no car traffic and the beach was not crowded.
All beds have microfiber sheets; might be sticky in warm weather.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house had everything we needed with coffee and sugar for the mornings! We loved the volleyball court and were constantly playing games on it! Excellent stay and we would definitely stay again!

Wonderful beach property. Two kitchens and family areas. We were a family of four couples and one grandchild. Lot's of indoor and outdoor hangout space, new pool, and 3 minutes from the beach. Property fit our needs perfectly. Could not have asked for a more attentive owner. Easy check-in and check-out. 5 star experience across the board.

Having to be in NC for a sad occasion, the porch swing & nearby ocean was such a comfort! The house had all that we needed and was very central to the beach and near the ocean.

We all were extremely pleased with our rental of this property. The location was ideal, the description of the house was accurate and the owner was a joy to work with. The pool is a great way to spend the afternoon after time spent at the beach in the morning. Overall it was one of our best family get togethers.

This property worked perfectly for 3 families with kids because it has 3 bedrooms with king beds and 3 bedrooms with bunk beds. It was also nice having 2 living room spaces on two different floors, the adults could hang out in the main living area and the kids could be downstairs.
The outdoor space is fantastic. The second floor deck is large and partially covered, with a porch swing, lots of chairs and picnic table. Both the second floor and third floor decks offer nice ocean views and you can hear the waves. Even the pool area has several lounge chairs and a table with umbrella.
Valerie is an excellent host. Her instructions were clear and helpful. She was very easy to get in touch with when we had questions and she responded quickly.

Our family/friends had an amazing time at this place in Emerald Isle. The outside of the property was the best we have ever seen. Pool, volleyball court and so much space. One block to the beach with very easy beach access. The inside was very roomy as well. Plenty of beds to go round. Valerie is just the best property manager we have worked with. If something is not right… She will make it right. Hope you all enjoy your stay!!!

This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The house was located a very short distance from the beach, which was perfect for our small grandchildren. And the pool provided a nice respite from the beach. Plenty of space for the 14 of us

My family gets together at a beach every year on this week. We chose Emerald Isle this year and it proved to be one of our favorites. The house was wonderful - lots of bedrooms, clean, 2 well stocked kitchens, close to the beach, wonderful pool, lots of outdoor games and equipment. The host, Valerie, was super and communicated often. We'll definitely be back for another visit!

Rental process was a breeze. Owner was very communicative and highly responsive. House was well apportioned with spacious room and most amenities that you would need for a family vacation at the beach. Beds were extremely comfortable but recommend bringing your favorite pillow. Short jaunt to the beach or simply lounge at the pool. Location was phenomenal with stores and restaurants in close proximity. We will surely be renting this property again in the future.
