About this house rental
Spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch-style home, with a large very private yard, sparkling pool (non heated pool and spa), and covered patio.
Comfortable living room looks out to the pool and backyard: sofa, loveseat, two swivel recliners, upright piano, 42” HDTV, DishTV satellite service with ROKU. Family room/dining room table seats up to 10. Wifi, AT&T U-Verse 18Mbps Internet. Master king bedroom suite opens to pool; bedrooms two and three each have twin beds (day beds with pop-up trundles) good mattresses. Fully equipped kitchen with counter and 4 bar stools, breakfast table; One regular and one large accessible shower, NO bathtub. RV parking on a side driveway. No smoking anywhere on the premises. Please NO PETS.
Neighborhood is a 'hidden gem' of a rural enclave with large oaks, stream, park and community center, not far from a commercial boulevard. Close to freeway access, light rail and bus. 15 min. from downtown, Capitol, Old Sacramento.
The house is not toddler-proof: there are many low shelves and cupboards with breakable items and cleaning products, miscellaneous clutter. The entire home is comfortable, old school, not at all trendy.
Activities and attractions: * Nearby neighborhood park has picnic areas and tennis courts, full program of activities for kids.
* We're just a few blocks from American River College - many theater and music offerings are open to the public.
* Horse stables and trails
* Close to golf course and driving range
* 20 minutes from Fair Oaks, Folsom, Folsom Lake, California State University Sacramento
* Downtown Sacramento is a 15-minute drive: State Capitol, Old Sacramento, Railraod Museum, Sutter's Fort
* 30 minutes from Davis
* 1.5-2 hrs from San Francisco, Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, Gold Country wineries
Owner also has timeshares at Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe; possible rental might be arranged, with enough advance notice.

My kids had a great time in the pool. We had no issues with the home and enjoyed our stay.

This house is very comfortable to be in. The outside patio and pool area have plenty of room. We enjoyed the eclectic art around the house!

The pool and large backyard were a huge hit with our kids!

Turdy was great to work with. The house was great, the best part was the pool, the kids lived in the pool.

It was an amazing house and great outdoor area with pool. Wished the hot tub was hot but everything else was amazing at the property.

This location was so much more than I expected, I loved the home feel and the backyard was breathtaking. Nice quiet neighborhood but you could tell the surrounding people had no problem with us having some fun! If I find myself in Sacrememto again this is where I will be headed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two months in this comfortable, spacious house. It had everything we needed, including restful beds and two wonderful recliners in the living room, great for reading or watching TV. The bathrooms were perfect, with a walk-in shower for ease of entry. The kitchen is especially well-stocked. It even has a rice cooker and a waffle iron! We especially enjoyed the spacious shaded backyard and the pool, perfect on hot Sacramento summer days.
The air conditioning system maintained a comfortable temperature even on the hottest days. For those days when the smoke from Northern California fires made the outdoor air unhealthy, the indoor air quality remained fresh and clean.
The neighborhood is semi-rural and we enjoyed daily walks. There are about two dozen wild turkeys that roam the neighborhood and we saw them every day, sometimes in our front yard. It’s also only about a fifteen minute drive to the American River Parkway, another great spot for daily walks.
The owner, Tiffany, and the manager, Trudy, were friendly and helpful. They always responded promptly to our questions. We would gladly stay in this house again.

A private little park in the backyard!
This was a great escape during SIP! My hubby and I worked from home while my daughter and father relaxed. We all had plenty of space to spread out and the highlight was the backyard. We ate most of our meals on the back patio. We enjoyed the HUGE backyard; we played many games (bocce, ring toss and horse shoes provided)! We also loved to relax on the back swing in the evenings and we spent many hours in the lovely pool. Tiffany and Trudy were so easy to work and communicate with. We would love to come back!

Super clean
Had a nice stay here. Super clean inside and out and a beautiful yard. Would have loved more pool furniture and updated mattresses on the beds. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

Great place to hang out for family time! Lots of room, fun pool, quiet neighborhood, I could go on and on. The property manager Trudy was on it, with whatever was needed. Highly recommend! We left with great family time memories! Thanks

First of all, lets start with location. This house is just blocks from the freeway on ramps, both North/East and South/West, so getting downtown, or East to the foothills is a breeze! Secondly, the neighborhood is fantastic! Very quiet, very well kept, and we even had nightly visits in the front yard by a rafter of turkeys (I looked it up, that's what they are called!)
The house itself is very comfortable and spacious. Even though we were only a group of 3, 6 or more people would still be very comfortable. The dining room is very large and great for group meals or just for hanging out. The backyard is HUGE with plenty of room for kids to run around safely. The pool was nice, even if it is unheated, but with afternoon temps in the lower 80's, it was a great way to cool down quickly for awhile.
As far as supplies go, we were quite satisfied and found pretty much everything we needed. Towels, kitchen equipment/utensils, cleaning supplies were all right there where you would expect.
All things considered, we found this a very comfortable place to stay, in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We did notice some of the locals seem to drive very fast on the small street, but with the huge backyard, whose going to be out in the street anyway? :)
DEFINITELY plan on staying again sometime in the future!

Lovely Summer garden with pool
The large backyard with mature trees and hummingbirds was a delight. The patio and pool were wonderful for the hot Sacramento days and summer sunsets. The neighborhood is safe and suburban while just minutes from the freeway. The house was very well stocked with anything we needed and there was a useful book of instructions and information. There were loads of towels and linens. Trudy Brown is an experienced and very organized host who made check in easy. We enjoyed our time at this lovely home.

Perfect House for Relaxing
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this house. If you're looking for relaxation...this is it. Situated in a very quiet neighborhood, the beautiful backyard is private, and the large pool is fantastic. A bit too cold sometimes to swim so a heater would have been great. The Jacuzzi wasn't working, which would have been nice, too. The house was clean and the kitchen was more than accommodating. Trudy was great to work with, and the rental process went quickly and smoothly. We will definitely try to stay here again if we return to Sacramento.

Enjoyed this house immensely
This was a wonderful rental property. It was clean, welcoming and the back yard was definitely the best part. Huge pool, beautiful view and so quiet. Appreciated the ranch style. Owner was so friendly and helpful - and even helped us find a babysitter! I would absolutely rent this house again if we are back in the area.

A Wonderful Place to Stay!
This home was a wonderful place to stay in! We visited Sacramento for a convention and the ability to go back to our own private home with a pool was priceless! Especially during the warmer July days. The house was clean, well maintained, and the property manager was attentive to any needs we had! The location is really quite handy as it is close to the cal expo area by a very short trip on the freeway. I really wish we could have stayed longer.....
I would definitely stay here again, and I will recommend this home to my friends who may be visiting the Sacramento area!

Pictures do not do it justice
All I can say is wow! We rent homes every year and seldom are our expectations what we receive. This house from the moment we opened the door was everything and more. The house was very spacious - however, we were pleasantly surprised by the huge backyard behind the pool that was ours for the week. It gave my kids space to run and play (when they were not in the pool).
Very good property for the price. We look forward to our next trip to visit family so we may hopefully rent this property again.

Cozy!
Older home, but very cozy! It was nice to be able to spread out and have much more room and freedom than a hotel. My kids loved the pool even though it was cold.(non-heated) There is also a park about 2 blocks away. The property manager was very prompt with answering questions and resolving one minor issue. We are glad we rented it!

Home Sweet Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and our vacation house! As soon as we walked into the house we just felt like we were really at home. The piano in the front hall, the fabulous pool in the beautiful backyard and the spaciousness of the house really made for a comfortable stay. It was great to be able to get to the airport (which we needed to do a couple of times) without spending hours on the highway. It was close enough to our friends' homes to be an easy ride.
On our ride back to Oregon, when asked what was our favorite part of the trip... we all agreed, "The pool!"

overall good house for exploring mid California
This house is situated in an older part of town, with minutes away access to the Interstate. It was clean and prepared for our arrival. It is immediately evident that this a mature family home and not a permanent holiday home.
The outside area with its great pool and slide the photo doesn't show its full potential was a great hit especially with our daughters. Sun loungers or pool chairs would have been helpful. There is a covered eating area with 3 tables though only 5 mis-matched chairs,so 6 guests....? There was some broken items, suitcase and pool inflatable in this area which we removed to the side of the house and a previous guest had left cigarette butts in the gravel...Shame.
It has a large kitchen with lots of personal items in drawers and cupboards so finding basic items was a little challenging. The cooker had only 3 working rings and on 1 oven shelf. The TV lounge area was comfortable especially with 2 recliner chairs which were very popular!
The master bedroom had all its drawers empty and a section of the walk in wardrobe cleared , the 2 other guest bedrooms has very minimal storage space, so if you had 6 guests you would all need to use the master bedroom storage, as our daughters slept in 1 room and used the other bedroom as there 'dressing room' and the bed as their wardrobe and desk top as chest of drawer area for smaller items.A change of bed linen would have been helpful as we had to wash and return linen on same day. There was plenty of towels available for bath and pool. There was also a large supply of toilet paper , kitchen roll, tissues etc.
Up to date local tourist information would have been helpful at the house, even the address of the local tourist office especially as we travelled from the UK so the wireless Internet access was invaluable for sourcing out this information. We did visit San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, the great mall at Roseville, the Jelly Bean factory, swam with dolphins at Six Flags, Discovery Kingdom even the Capitol building in downtown Sacramento.
Dealing with the property manager prior to the holiday was very professional and smooth.Even though we had some delays exchanging money from UK to US banks, she was friendly, efficient and patient.Overall the house was in a good location for discovering mid California.
