Just what it was listed as. Cozy, quiet place to call home for a couple nights while we explored the local area.
Chris was very friendly and informative.

The property looks better in the photos than in person. The claims of well stocked kitchen is incorrect, lack of bowls for prep in cooking and baking, no storage containers for leftovers, also cooking on the stove sets off the smoke detectors. The craftsmanship and quality of the unit is very poor. The bathroom and kitchen cabinet have no bottom and very dirty and poorly constructed. The hosts are very nice and checked regularly but were never on site so privacy is nice. However, the access to the property is a common door attached to another part of the house, the actual living quarters is upstairs with no additional door to close off the until to the entryway. Another inconvenience is the requirement to remove shoes in the entryway and not to wear shoes in the apartment. But there is no accommodation to actually remove or put on your shoes, you have to sit on the stairs, which is very hard for anyone with physical issues and older people.
We would not stay there again.

Everything was as listed along with some extras…drinks and snacks for the kids, facial cloths…
Easy to communicate and they even gave us some recommendations about the area. I would stay there again.

This sweet suite was a wonderful place to use as my base for two weeks. It was immaculately clean and well-stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, and towels. A friend stayed with me for the first week and used the queen-sized sofa bed and he said it was very comfortable. The bedroom is roomy, the bed was very comfortable, and the closet space and dresser were more than adequate for my belongings. The bathroom is a good size and the shower had great water pressure. Chris was in regular communication with me, offering ideas of things to do and places and go, and always offering his assistance if I needed it. I definitely appreciated having a home away from home while I visited family and explored the Maritimes and will definitely stay here again the next time I visit.

Definitely would recommend staying here.
This was a great experience. The owners were great information provided was accurate and helpful. The accomadations were excellent
The space was clean and well appointed with everything we needed and more. Fresh baked muffins and bagels., Local wine, basic condiments, milk for tea and coffee etc. It was a lovely thoughtful surprise. I am a fussy traveler but could not find fault with anything. I usually bring lysol wipes whether staying in a hotel or other rental. Did not even take them out of the bag
We will definetly stay here again if we are in this area again.

End of Summer getaway before school begibs
Grandmom, Daughter and Granddaughters' Summer getaway before school.
Space was beautiful and clean.
Yes, Chris and his wife left a great welcome basket and fresh pastries. Kids thought that was pretty cool!
I wish we had been there longer to get to see more of the town.
I would definitely bring my family again.
My only suggestion would be to have a small bistro table and 2 chairs to put outside. Its a quiet neighborhood and quite pleasant to be outside.
Thanks again Chris!

The location was great for us and Chris and Lauralee were great hosts.
Booking and follow up communication was prompt and friendly. Chris had lots of suggestions for local restaurants, places to visit and local events.
Check-in was very easy and Lauralee and Chris left us with a beautiful little welcome package and treats.
The location was perfect for us, just over an hour to the airport, an hour to Cape Breton and less than 20 minutes to the warmest beach in NS.
A great experience. Thank you!

Awesome
This place was great. It was clean and homey, and provided for a very relaxed stay. It was like home away from home. The bed was comfortable and everything we needed was there. We loved the added touch of a bottle of red and white wine to welcome us. We highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Stay. Would recommend.
Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. The apartment was very clean. The extra amenities of coffee and muffins were above and beyond. Compliment shampoo and conditioners and soaps were a real help when travelling . The bed is so comfortable almost made it hard to get out of bed. The directions were very easy to find and the self check entrance was great.
Thank you again for the wonderful stay, would recommend and would choose this place again when staying in New Glasgow.
