About this house rental
Set in the lush greenery of Bath County, the Springfield Cottage is a gorgeous three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home that combines luxury with mountain living. Sleeping six, you can choose to sleep in the king-sized accommodation, the queen, or one of the two twins. Additional sleeping quarters can be found on the pull-out couch. Select bedrooms feature private baths.
The living room is a cozy spot to gather at the end of the day, containing a flat-screen television, a stone-stacked fireplace, and access to the backyard. Cook in the fully-equipped kitchen, and serve family meals at the eight-person table. A gas grill is also provided for freshly charred entrees. Roast marshmallows in the outdoor fire-pit while stargazing.
Relax on the spacious porch in one of the lounge chairs to admire the rolling fields of horse pastures, or head to the Old Dairy Community Center, where you can swim in the seasonal outdoor pool, relax in the large indoor hot tub, use the fitness center, or hit the game room.
Springfield Cottage is located near the attractions of Bath County, including the Homestead Resort (less than 2 miles away), the Jefferson Pools, and Douthat State Park.
For your convenience, the cottage includes a washer and dryer and WIFI. We encourage you to bring your four-legged friend, as dogs are accommodated for an additional $100 fee. Please note that guests must be 21 years of age to rent this property.

Everything about this property was perfect! To begin, the check in process was a breeze, and the property managers were proactively communicative and available for any questions about our stay. The house itself was amazing. It was clean, comfortable, and wonderfully decorated. It had everything we needed, and everything we could have wanted. The deck and fire pit overlooked the mountains, which were showing off their fall colors. There were multiple hikes nearby, and the short drive to the Homestead Resort was convenient. Overall, the grocery store, restaurants, hiking trails, spa (we loved Warm Spirits Spa), and Warm Springs were all within 15 minute drives from the property. It was perfect. Our group of four have decided to make this an annual trip, and we can’t wait to come back and stay at this cottage next fall.

Gem
Great property and location. We enjoyed the covered porch, the view, bird watching, and frequent visits from hummingbirds. Convenient to several good restaurants, hiking trails, and mountain biking in the local area. The brewery in town is good too. I was really impressed by how clean the property was as well. We will return and thanks for helping to make this a great vacation.

Perfect get-away!
The house was gorgeous and easily accommodated five adults and a dog. Stacie had told us the kitchen was well-stocked and had anything we possibly could want; this was largely true. Only things we missed were a cocktail shaker and a bread knife! Perfect weekend for catching up, playing Scrabble, making music, cooking, hiking, and lounging by the fire.

We brought our family of 4 kids (and dog) here for a few days to get out of the summer heat. The home is beautiful and has a wonderful view. Our favorite part was sitting on the back porch reading and watching the clouds pass. We would definitely return to this property.

This house is AWESOME!
Five high school friends met for a girls weekend away. Upon arrival, the house was clean and very well appointed. Music was playing and it was very welcoming. The bedroom arrangement is perfect for either a family getaway or friends gathering. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and there is enough seating in the dining area and living room for everyone. The views from the porch are breathtaking and the fire pit was a great hang out in the evenings. I would recommend this house for anyone looking to get away. The area is beautiful with the Omni Resort down the street. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub and a bite to eat at the Old Dairy and had fun exploring the shops nearby. Thank you for sharing your house with us and making everything so easy from check-in to check-out!

It everything you need for cooking, but recommend you take sugar, coffee, jelly, etc, as those were not in the house. Also, we weren't aware of this before we arrived, but the Old Dairy is about 10 miles away. Its something to be aware of since I didn't make the connection before arrival. It isn't a big deal, but we made a reservation thinking we were near the Old Dairy.
