This was our first time in fair harbor as a family and we had a wonderful week at Jennifer’s home

Initially, upon arrival, we were looking for a few necessities like TP, paper towels, bath towels but a quick text to the owner remedied our concerns. There were plenty of beach towels we could use as bath towels. The cottage is charming from the outside though the photos don't really show the size of the common areas. The bedrooms are tight but perfectly comfortable. The sitting area is also very small so togetherness should be expected. The outdoor deck was nice when the weather was good - 2 loungers and a large picnic table plus a large new grill. Kitchen was well equipped and easy to maneuver. One bathroom for 5 people with the exception of a downstairs outdoor shower - we made it work. The furnishings could use an upgrade but we understood that it's a casual beach cottage. The wifi worked perfectly as did the tv monitor on rainy days (for gaming and streaming). Very close to the market, ferry and an easy walk to the beach. The bikes were fine, not new but the tires were full and they got us to and fro. A nice overall Fair Harbor stay - thank you!

We stayed in this lovely house in Fair Harbor for 5 nights. A family of five with three teenage children. Everyone in the group loved it! House is amazing and Fair Harbour easily the best part of Fire Island. Would love to stay again - can’t recommend enough. Thanks Jennifer!

Cozy and lovely cottage
This was the perfect place to spend the end of the summer - fair harbor is a family friendly town where the kids can have freedom to roam around and just be kids. Jennifer was extremely helpful with any questions we had and very responsive. Very flexible about how many days we were renting - we had a very nice time. We would recommend the property for anyone looking for a laid back vacation.
