Charinga on the Bay is a perfect option for Apollo Bay holiday accommodation. This waterfront accommodation is a modern two-storey house with four bedrooms, sleeping up to 8 people, making it ideal for families and friends who want to escape and experience the beautiful beaches and attractions that this stunning part of the Great Ocean Road offers.
2 Bathrooms, 2 powder rooms and 2 living areas. Televisions in both living areas and all bedrooms. Air conditioning heat and cool on top storey.
An outdoor covered area with lounge seating and a Weber Gas BBQ.
Double drive in garage.
Inside this luxury accommodation you will be spoilt with some of Victoria’s most magnificent 180 degree ocean views and northerly views to the Otway Ranges.

We enjoyed our stay here. This house ticked many boxes for us.  Location – literally across the road from the beach. In many ways, the beach seemed like part of the front yard.  View – uninterrupted view of the beach and the green hills. Felt great just watching the sun rise and set across the horizon on the beach.  Host – Javier was hospitable and prompt to respond to every inquiry as it arose.  Indoor space – House was spacious with enough room/space to cater for the entire family as a unit, and still allow each family member to retreat to their own corner and do their own thing.

Sunrise or sunset, the view can’t be beat. This unit is in an ideal location of Apollo Bay and for touring The Great Ocean Road. It was modern and clean. The showers were great and the beds were comfortable. Trust the pictures! This place really was that good!

Is exactly as presented on website. The view is spectacular and walk to town flat and easy walk for young children. Kitchen is a dream. We would love to holiday here again.

Amazing location right across the road from the beach, well appointed, high quality linen and modern decor. Everything you need to make your getaway special. Our host Javier was very accommodating and very prompt to reply to any queries we had. This is our 3rd stay at Charinga and it doesn’t disappoint. Looking forward to returning.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place very much. The house is spacious and modern, very comfortable and has all we needed and more. It is right by the beach with an amazing view of the ocean and the surrounding hills. We highly recommend it and would love to come back again anytime.

Stunning property and views but a few things that weren’t brilliant. A leak in the bathroom under the sink leaking brown stained water on the floor. Very patchy internet connection, no streaming log in for TV so limited. Slow response from owner. Not enough loo roll! Also the air con was only in the main living area so it was freezing there but the bedrooms were too hot without even fans for relief. Gorgeous location though right across from the beach.

We have stayed in this house three times and have loved it every single visit. It is in the perfect location in Apollo bay and is well appointed and comfortable. I recommend this house to everyone.

Accommodation was wonderful, exactly as pictured, perfect location as only a couple of blocks walk to the shops. Very relaxing open plan lounge which overlooks the the bluest of oceans. Beds so comfortable, it had everything we needed. Thank you for our fantastic stay.

Magnificent view of the beach and the ocean, and easy to go for a swim and walk on the beach. Easy walk to the main shopping area with helpful people and friendly with good services. The layout encompasses variable needs like kids TV area, and adult activities in the main area, well done.

We had a perfect stay at this property. Plenty of space for 6 of us - 3 generations including 3 teenagers. The kitchen has everything you need to cook in, but great eating spots are also a short walk away. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises from the comfort of the living room and getting out to spend time on the beach and around Apollo Bay. Highly recommend a stay at this property.

We recently stayed at the beautiful Charinga with our family. This property is absolutely stunning with all the necessary features and necessities for a comfortable stay. The views are absolutely spectacular with the sea out the front and Otway hills along the side. No matter where you looked there was a beautiful view. Staying here truly makes you feel like you've gotten away. The hosts are fabulous and communication was exceptional. We will definitely stay again.

Super comfortable with everything you could want- kitchen superbly kitted out, good quality linen and spacious living area, with gorgeous views of both the ocean and the hills. Really nice short stay at this home, and felt very welcome upon arrival. Great view, great beds and showers, perfect for a small family or 2 good size family’s. Can warm up throughout the day but the AC works in the main entertainment room quite nicely. And that 10-20 second walk to the beach I was a good selling point too. Definitely will stay again.

Highly recommended. This is a gorgeous home with an amazing view to the sea right across the road. It would be a wonderful place to stay in all kinds of weather. The beach is great for walks and dips in the ocean. Shops are about a 10 min walk away. This was a great place to bring our elderly parents as they can sit and watch the sea from the window. Lovely kitchen and bathrooms.

The house is fully equipped with everything you would need in a home. The beach is literally a stone's throw away, across the road. It can feel a little cold downstairs as one of the bedrooms doesn't have a wall heater. We couldn't find a bath plug anywhere in the house. Luckily we had brought along a tub to transport things in which we used to bathe the young kids. Overall, a fantastic house in a great location, great for big families as there are so many bedrooms and the house itself is so spacious!
