You'll want to come back again and again to this newly renovated home. The property has just been upgraded and has a beautiful kitchen downstairs and kitchenette upstairs along with two newly renovated bathrooms.
Located on Waterside Canals, 1 hour from Perth Airport and 2 minutes drive from Mandurah central, this home is luxury living. Wake up to the quiet serenity and water views that make this holiday home a stay you will not forget.
Suitable for a large family, or group of friends, This 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom property sleeps up to 9 adults. It has 3 QS bedrooms, a twin room and a single room, is fully equipped with all facilities and comfortably furnished in high quality furnishings.
The spacious deck overlooks the canal and holds a 9 seat wooden table setting, a 4 seat glass setting and 2 sun lounges, and is equipped with a Natural Gas outlet for enjoying a BBQ.
Enjoy a day out fishing, then moor your boat at the private jetty. Bring your crab pots to drop in the water at the end of the jetty.

The hot water system is inadequate and cannot be used by more than one bathroom at a time. Back downstairs bathroom and toilet need attention. No manuals or information left for guests. Small things that should be provided at the price such as soaps, tissues etc. were not available in some of the bathrooms. The guard gate on the front door needs a replacement mechanism to keep it open when trying to move in or out. otherwise despite the weather we enjoyed the large view from the dining room.

We were a group of friends that stayed for the weekend. Great location, clean & well-kept property and everything we needed for a lovely weekend away. We had a storm come through Mandurah but this did not effect the stay & we were still able to have some sundowners on the alfresco area. Dot, the host, was very helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again :-)

Eight of us (all seniors) had a wonderful 5 days in this magnificent house on the canals. Everything was spotlessly clean and spacious. Great sitting on the verandah decking watching the birdlife and trying our hands at a bit of crabbing with drop nets of the jetty. Lovely setting and would thoroughly recommend a holiday here for all ages at anytime of the year

We stay here 10 years ago when grand kids were just born.
To take them back was amazing. They loved the place and learnt to kayak, swim in the estuary, crab and catch fish.
Was a relaxing weekend away. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed. Really recommend Dot's home.

The only negative would be the driveway/parking. Very tight and a squeeze parking cars in the narrow driveway & carport.
The towels on beds up stairs were folded but quite wet still..

Very comfortable for our group of nine aged 70 + friends. We had a wonderful time and especially enjoyed the balcony over the Canal for meals and drinks. We also had a pair of swans with 4 big cygnets visiting us each day. Most enjoyable stay especially in December as we also were able to go on the Christmas lights cruise.

My elderly sisters and other family found this property perfect for our needs. The sun deck was the most popular spot as we spent a lot of time watching swans pelicans and other birds. No dolphins but we did enjoy our lunch cruise one day where the dolphins put on a show. Great stay in the lovely city of Mandurah

The property was beautiful and well appointed; however, the cleanliness was questionable.
The previous occupants had left the property in a very dirty state, meaning the cleaners were struggling to have the property cleaned in time for our check in.
Our guests were arriving at 2.00 and the floors were still being mopped, the bins needed taking out, and the fridge cleaned.
I ended up cleaning out the fridge, thus freeing up the cleaners to complete the floors etc. The fridge was in an awful state, necessitating me having to scrub the spilt sticky liquid from the bottom of the fridge.
When we went to use the BBQ, my husband needed to spend an hour cleaning off the burnt, built up food from previous uses. This was so much so, that I made a trip home to our house, nearby to grab the electric frypan to cook in.
The Lazy Susan on the outside table had a large buildup of crumbs, so it wouldn't rotate.
We rectified these issues, including cleaning out the bins in the kitchen before putting in bin liners.
The cleaners did their best but obviously didn't have enough time to clean from the previous occupants.
This didn't detract from our enjoyment of the property, however when you are spending good money, it was quite unacceptable.
Maybe there should be greater expectations for guests to leave the property in a better state when they depart.

Very well presented 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home. It was a pleasure for our group of over 70's to enjoy. The weather was great and we spent a good deal of our time on the balcony overlooking the canal. Dolphins and black swans also added to the stay. We would love to come back again.

Just back from a 2 night weekend stay with 4 friends at this stunning property, on the canals in Mandurah. The house was impeccable with 5 separate bed rooms, 2 lounge areas and a divine view and space on the deck. We didn’t want to leave to go sightseeing as the house was so comfortable and bright. Dot was very obliging and easy to deal with too. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place, extremely clean and tidy. The house had all that we needed for a week’s stay. The location is excellent - just a 10min walk to the Eastern Foreshore. We were lucky enough to be visited by dolphins a few times as well!

Great location and outlook
Only minutes from the centre of Mandurah. Well looked after and maintained with plenty of amenities, well stocked kitchen and beautiful outlook over the canal. Lots of ducks and several swans came to 'visit'. Quiet location. Overall, really lovely house and would recommend to anyone.

A humble family vacation
It was the perfect house to stay with my family to get away for a few days. The property is well layed out and big enough for a family of all ages. It's just a stones throw from town which is perfect to walk in. What makes this place spectacular is the ambience of being on the river, a great way to spend the day soaking up the sunshine.

We as a group have stayed in numerous holiday rentals and have found this home to be a place for relaxation and socialising on the wonderful balcony. Having said this we did have a small issue with the back neighbour burning wood which smoked us out every evening.
