Great vibes, great people. The staff is super nice and helpful and for the price it's crazy how nice this place is. I'm really grateful cause I got to meet some wonderful people who I hope I'll be able to meet again in the future.
I guess bathrooms could have been cleaner and the water pressure a bit stronger, but still, they were okay, there was always paper and the water is hot

This place is a proper old-school backpacker's hostel - clean, functional and sociable. Noni and Besa's advice and help planning the rest of the trip was invaluable. Would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone travelling to Addis, for work or pleasure.

Staffs are very helpful. They can also help to book flights. Room is quite spacious. Common area is comfortable. Kitchen is big. It’s a good place to meet other travelers.
Shower on the third floor is not strong. I was very cold while taking shower. There is some white ash consistently dropping from upper bed. Wifi is only available on the first floor.Laundry is too expensive like 10 dollars.

La ubicación del hostel, y las personas que pude conocer ahí.
es un lugar sucio, de poco mantención de aseo, además tienen un perro que suele ladrar a los residentes, y si te descuidas, te podía morder como sí lo hizo con algunas personas que alojaron allí

The staff are amazing. Nonie is the best.
Maybe the location . It initially was hard to find. But once you find it it's all good.

hostel where you can find likeminded travelers and adventurers of all ages. they relocated to this big house / villa only a few weeks ago and are still installing manny things. big rooms. quiet neighbourhood. hostel bar. common areas.
only two bathrooms incl. shower and toiletts for manny guests. bin wasn't emptied for three days. toilet paper wasn't often available so better to have your own. wifi didn't work reliably. kitchen often was a mess. they could definitely improve by making signs to wash your owm dishes instead of leaving them dirty. no pens/paper available to label the own food. overall abit chaotic and not well organized when i stayed there but maybe that's just because they relocated recently. hope they improve certain things because the place has a lot of potential.

Me gusto el ambiente, lo mejor en Sadid Abeba, éramos todos juntos na comunidad rápidamente. Una familia.

Checking-in is like getting New Best friends. I loved the entire stay at the hostel!

My private room was big, comfortable bed, good hot water. Staff was helpful when I could find them. Good location, cool dog.
It's a concrete building so sounds carry throughout the building. The common area furniture was the most uncomfortable I have experienced in 10 months of traveling through Africa. Please replace it!!

The place and the owners are nice and I met there awesome people.

As things which could be improved: lockers and the light in the common areas is too dim. There's also this "Solomon" near the hostel who will come to you speaking English and pretend he works in the "hotel"
and will eventually try to convince you to pay a visit to those places where there are these students celebrating their graduation, they will order these overly expensive drinks at your expense ("honeywine") and you'll have a huge bill to pay. So just be careful. You can talk with people but beware of scammers, because of the bad economy it's on the growth.

A great social space for meeting other travellers. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Plenty of places to eat in the area.
No issues

Good location and great value. they were very flexible as plans changed due to circumstances outside of anyone’s control (i.e protests, political stuff). Beza is seriously helpful.

Red light district surroundings. Far from the city . At that time no electricity and no water for few days
