The host Eirik's genuine kindness and availability, the authentic and well equipped rorbu, the amazing view on the sea, the possibility to reach wonderful Caribbean beaches in few minutes and the incredibile chance to fish in the middle of the sea with the Midnight Sun.
Thanks with all our hearts for these amazing days!!!

Well maintained facilities, good cleanliness.
The price is adjusted to quality and offer.
Vehicle parking very close to the door
Shower cubicle too small. Access to the toilet very difficult.

Host made it very easy to access the room for my late night arrival, leaving the room open with the keys inside. If you are visiting Lofoten for Northern Lights, the location is one of the best, as if you start seeing the lights you can drive to any of Uttakliev, Hauland, Skagsanden within 20 minutes, also 1 hour to Svolvaer or 1 hour to Reine, basically everything in Lofoten is within a 1 hour drive.
Kitchen was well-stocked with cutlery, pots/pans, cooking utensils, and even a dishwasher, if you are visiting in winter especially you will want to cook as restaurant hours are limited and snowstorms make the roads dangerous for brief periods of time here and there. There are a couple of supermarkets in central Leknes which is only 5 minutes away by car.
Heating was adequate, the electric heaters in every room were good. Wi-Fi was decent. There is also a washing machine and drying rack.
This is an EXCELLENT place to stay if you want to just "stay put" in one central place in Lofoten for several days, unpack all your stuff comfortably and be at home, and then drive to all the sights (all of Lofoten is within 1 hour in either direction anyway). That's the way I would recommend doing it, it's a lot more comfortable than switching accommodations every couple of days and the drives are all so scenic you can do them multiple times without getting tired.
I came in winter, the price was extremely reasonable for a place with a full kitchen and everything. Highly recommend!
No issues really! Beware if you are visiting in winter, the road coming into the property is very steep and icy, just make sure you rent a AWD or 4WD vehicle like I did, I saw 2WD vehicles having problems a couple times on the bad weather days.

We recommend these cottages for your stay in the southern part of the Lofoten Archipelago.
Our cottage was very nice, spacious and comfortable. It was perfectly clean, well prepared for our arrival and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. A surprise was waiting for us – a bottle of wine :-)
Location of the cottages is excellent – on the shore of a fjord with amazing views and all interesting places in the southern part of the Lofoten Archipelago are close and to be reached easily by car.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
If you want to try a typical Norwegian accommodation, rent Lofoten Havfiske & Rorbuopplevelser.

lots of space, good amenities, very good logistics arrangement n communication. liked the idea of a mobile internet used as internet device. convenient in a way
perhaps putting 2 of the beds together to form a double bed would be good. we did that during our stay(makeshift) n it worked.

The appartment is really nice. Everything was quite comfortable, the kitches has all stuff and more what you need to cook, the cabins are large and modern equipped. Everything was clean and cosy. The appartement is located centrally to reach all important hiking destinations quickly.
The owner is super friendly, helpful and put a lot of effort to make you a nice stay. He has a lot of suggesstions what to do at Lofoten. He also put some chocolate in the kitchen when we arrived and offered us some fish. I would definitely suggest this cabin to others.

We were greeted by the host who made us feel very welcome. This apartment has a spectacular view, has a hiking trail to a mountain peak right across the street, and we were able to drive to everywhere we wanted to see each day within a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommend!
The neighbor who lives in the house across the deck likes to stand in the doorway and shine a flashlight at you when leaving, arriving, and taking trash to the bin.

The cabin is an original building that has been decorated with love to offer a very cozy experience. The host Eirik welcomed us with a suprise of small local specialties on the table when we arrived. The handover of the cabin keys was super uncomplicated. Eirik provided us with local tips on places we can see and experience. Overall did we have a fantastic time on the lofotn, that exceeded all our expectations. 👍
