We enjoyed our stay at your beautiful lake house!

Driveway very scary, steep. House nice but needs things fixed, screen doors, door locks.
Dirty windows. View was nice.

Can't drive into driveway because driveway slope is too steep. Was told in check-in letter not to park in Driveway. Went into the house and the house smelt like mold. Ants were in downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The deck outside was covered in mildew. Kayaks were not taken care of and dirty. There were leaks in ceiling. Outside is not accessible for elderly or people with disabilities. Outside landscaping is horrible and shows that it is not being taken care of. Rail off deck to go into backyard is loose and I almost fell over because of it. The inside ceiling had leaks. I took pictures of all the issues. Contacted Jeff who owns the house and he refused to give a refund. We were only there for an hour. Refused to stay there due to the condition of the house. See the other bad reviews as they are all true.

Great VRBO, remarkably steep driveway.

We really loved the house and location. I would suggest to the property owners that they either speak with the concierge or they themselves check supplies. Several lights were out, we ran out of paper towels, trash bags, and toilet paper. We had to go buy our own dish soap, laundry soap, dishwasher pods and hand soap. I realize that we have to provide some things but that seemed like a lot to have to provide ourselves. The only other issue I would advise be looked into, was that the half bath had a strong sulfer-like odor and the ceiling had lots of cobwebs. However, the home itself was spectacular and fit our stay/needs for our family get-together.

We stayed at this property over Christmas with our family (5 adults). This home was spacious, and we loved the screened-in porch! It's a quiet and peaceful place to stay. However, we were disappointed by the lack of amenities provided. When we arrived there was almost no soap, almost no dishwashing supplies, no laundry detergent, and minimal bathroom supplies. We had to buy additional hand soap, dishwasher pods, shampoo, body wash, paper towels, kleenex, and laundry supplies--not because we used a lot but because almost none of these supplies were provided to begin with. Since most of us flew in from out of state to visit our daughter, the lack of basic amenities was frustrating--as we had traveled with limited supplies. We had to purchase these supplies on our own, which was extra money and time spent that we hadn't planned for. Additionally, the house had a lot of bugs--we regularly found bugs on the curtains along the windows and on the bedding the first night. The house was not necessarily dirty, but there were many bugs and cobwebs throughout. Further, many aspects of the house were broken--broken sinks, broken kitchen trash can, broken screen door downstairs, ice maker issue, very hard and squeaky king size beds, no furnace filter, another one that wasn't even the right size, shower doors leaked in downstairs bathroom due to missing caulking, mold around tub and shower in upstairs bathroom, and several leaky faucets. This home is in need of several repairs.

Beautiful home, spacious open floor plan fun for our whole family.

This property was perfect for my family and my brother family. Lots of room to be comfortable. The floors are not sound proof so any movement upstairs could be heard downstairs. King room down stairs is directly under the upstairs master suite. The driveway is incredibly steep.

Beautiful place.

Great house, steep yard and driveway. Nice manager, friendly neighbors. They need some updates on bedding. Kitchen very well stocked with dishes, glassware, etc. They need a handyman for a day to fix small items and update. Master tub, screened porch, dripping facets, ice maker won’t shut off, and sink in half bath is loose. However felt like good value and were very new ce and easy to work with!

The house was perfect fit for the six of us. I would recommend this property. The only concern was the handling of the trash. I don’t think you should have to run the trash to the local dump.

The property was on the end, so it gave a little more privacy than some other locations, which was nice. The neighbors were very friendly and the view spectacular. One of the best stocked kitchens for a rental that I have seen. If you have more than 2 cars for overnight parking, the parking situation will be a little tricky. Two of our daughters and their spouses spent one night, and we were abel to put our truck in the garage, pull one behind the garage, and back one down. There will not be room to turn to drive up if you do not back the 3rd car down, or you will have to back up the driveway, which is fairly steep. We still managed! There is some day-paking at the top of the driveway. Overall, a very nice place to stay!

I’ve been coming to Tellico Village for several years since my parents retired here. We have stayed in several local homes and condos over the years and have come to know the area quite well. This property hit the mark for us as the teen could be on her own downstairs while us parents were upstairs. Loved the kayaks for use to go visit other family members staying in another home just down the way along the lakeshore. Best of all, our dog was able to join us! The only negative was that the property is quite steep with little to no grass right outside the house making doggy bathroom breaks a bit more difficult (especially as our pup still gets us up in the middle of the night or early morning). Great neighborhood to walk him, though. Very friendly neighbors! Definitely bookmarking this place for future family reunions!

The description of the lot which the beautiful house sit on is beautiful however there was no mention of the STEEP DRIVEWAY or the extremely steep yards. It was extremely hard to get down to the water because of the probably 45 degree slope down or up when you walk out of this home. We are in our 60’s but I’m sure younger people would fair much better. Walking two dogs up & down the slopes was a bit much. Probably would have picked a more level property had we known. Other than that, everything else was GREAT.

We had a great time at this property! The driveway is very steep, but the views from the decks were great.

Upon arrival to house, we encountered dirty walls, light switches. furniture, & windows. There were live stink bugs everywhere! The 2 sets of sliding glass doors had sooo many dead bugs laying in the track of doors. It was so gross! Ever single bed in home except one had looked like it had been slept in and then just made up. The sheets had dirt stains and did not smell fresh. The king bed had a live stink bug in it when I pulled the blanket down. The last thing I wanted to do at 8pm at night after traveling all day was clean all the bedding for 4 beds. Thank god for the washer/dryer & detergent that was available. Once bedding was washed and smelled clean, I knew for sure the existing sheets was not fresh. I emailed owner of property that evening explaining my extreme disappointment and dissatisfaction. I even attached a picture of a live stink bug crawling up the curtain next to me as I typed his email. He told me the house manager would reach out to me. I told him that there was nothing more for her to do since I literally cleaned the entire home with Lysol wipes & Lysol that I had bought, cleaned all the bedding and vacuumed. The house manager called me later the next day to say sorry and offer up nothing but telling me stink bugs and bugs are very common in Tennessee and there is nothing they can do about that. I mentioned to her that the pedestal sink in the main floor bathroom was loose and there was an awful smell coming from that bathroom that just wouldn’t go away and she said she was aware of it but offered no explanation. I then told her the kitchen and bathroom sink in the master bedroom were draining extremely slowly. she told me the plumber had been there and should have fixed it. Again, no solutions. I understand it was the week of thanksgiving and maybe no one wanted to be bothered with us, but my complaints and concerns were real and not taken seriously. There was no follow up to see if our stay had gotten any better, no offer of any type of discount, and not even a goodwill gesture to apologize for our poor experience. The house is beautiful with a ton of space for a large family. Just know there is a chance that the lake will be drained in November and that was the case for our experience. Lastly, be aware of the extremely steep driveway and lack of lighting at night out front. You should leave the porch lights on if you’re going out in the evening because you’ll be in big trouble if you don’t and come back after dark.

Nice house. Great for a golf trip

Everything was as pictured. The house was designed for comfort over two floors. The balcony was perfect to sit outside in the evenings. The enclosed screen area was great for dining and cocktails after a day of kayaking and swimming. Jeff was always quick to respond to any communication we had.
What made the vacation for my family, was having 2 adult kayaks, and two children kayaks for their use. Everyone enjoyed their time at the house..

The home was very nice and in a very nice neighborhood. Lots of space and clean. Our only issue with the property is that it was far away from restaurants and shopping. But it is a great waterfront property .

Better than expected
We were very pleased with how well the house is stocked to live in while visiting family. The kitchen blew us away with all the glasses, dishes, cooking utensils you might need. Bedrooms have comfortable beds and the closets gave extra linens, towels & blankets. We enjoyed all the lake toys-especially the kayaks. The driveway is steep but we didn’t have any problems with it.

Best place for a quiet stay on the water
The photos need to be updated online to show new carpet and newly painted deck and deck furniture! So much room at this house and the screened in porch is great for all meals. Quiet.neighborhood and close to all amenities nearby. We had such a relaxing vacation

We stayed here in mid April and it is a beautiful property. It is well managed by a California company. They are a bit heavy on the rules. There is a check out process wherein you have to do a laundry list of things (including taking your own trash to the dump!) to do before you can leave. The strangest thing happened in the basement. A whole bunch of black ants hatched out from the unfinished basement portion and crawled onto the carpet on our last night there! My children said it was God’s way of saying vacation was over. Hehehe. Also? The garbage disposal went a bit nuts and clogged when we ran it before leaving. My husband tried to fix it, but we had to catch a flight. Fortunately, the property manager was nice when I called to let her know this problem had occurred. So, the view is breathtaking and they have updated the deck. Lots of good here, but we had a mixed experience so I am leaving three stars.

Very nice rental, it has everything you need. Owner was very good about answering any issues that came up. Property is in need of updating, but everything is cared for. It is a rental so... Very nice layout for company as master is on main and guests have lower level.

Neat home, nice location
Well maintained home in attractive lakeside cul de sac. Perfect for families and very good services in easy reach. Winter watch out: the lake level was down which diminishes the view

My wife and I stayed here for a week (end of July) with both sets of parents and our dogs. Overall had a really nice stay and enjoyed ourselves. The house is situated at the end of a cove, so it was quiet and allowed for plenty of swimming. Plenty of space for all of us and our stuff - it never felt cramped. Finishes are nice, but not top tier. Noticed a few minor issues while we were there, but the property manager was really easy to communicate with about these. The biggest drawback was cleanliness - the floors and counters were fine, but the windows and sliding doors could have used more attention, and there were quite a few cobwebs and such on the porch, and quite a few stains on the downstairs carpet. Also the owners are really picky about the A/C temperature and have multiple reminders posted on the walls throughout the house - this was a little annoying. And since they have you turn off the a/c when you check out, this meant that it was really warm and smelled musty when we arrived. I'd recommend just expecting to have a bigger electric bill during the 90-100 degree summers here, instead of expecting the guests to try and save you a few bucks by sacrificing comfort. Most people have common sense and won't take advantage. But overall we had a great week and were pretty happy with the house!

This house was perfect for our family vacation! We had immediate access to the water and plenty of water toys to play with. The bottom of the lake is a mix of mud and rocks so bring water shoes, especially if you have kids who may find it weird at first. The house had enough space for us to relax and spread out, and we enjoyed the screened in porch for all of our meals. There was an extra fridge/freezer so if you want to do one large shopping trip, there is plenty of food storage space. The TVs didn’t have streaming services and the cable package was pretty basic, but all TVs had DVD players so if you have kiddos, bring some DVDs with you to maximize options. All in all, a great place to get some privacy qnd water fun!

Relaxing Stay
We enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed plus.
I should have reviewed location as I enjoy staying in Tellico Village to where you can quickly access, by walking, all of the different neighborhoods. This location is out of the way and requires driving on back roads to access the main Tellico Village area. This wasn't a big deal but I wish I had reviewed the location more to understand where I would be located. Overall - great!

Much needed break
We got away for a quiet spring break, and a change of scenery. The house was as shown, and the owner Jeff was very responsive to our questions or comments. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks, the foosball table, and appreciated being able to bring our dogs along with us. My family had all good things to say about this property, and would definitely consider it again for a getaway.

Long term furnished rental in Tellico Village
This property was perfect for us. Main floor master bedroom so no stairs to climb each day. Lower level bedrooms and den and game room were perfect for our visiting children and grandchildren. They enjoyed the kayaks and tubes on the lake right behind the house. The kitchen was well stocked with everything for a large group and there were plenty of towels both for the baths and for lake swimming.
