Stayed at by the lake @ Smiths for two nights for a work trip. Lovely place with plenty of room and a stunning outlook. Close to a great cafe (Frothy's) down the way too for morning coffee. Kate the manager was excellent and a pleasure to deal with.

Loved our stay.
Spacious, clean and comfortable. Kids swam and played cricket. We used Kyaks and paddle boards, and caught a lot of fish just from the bank of the lake. We were able to launch our boat once and it proved a perfect spot for tubing, and fishing.
Loved it so much we booked again, but for longer.

Location is good, kids enjoy the kayak. If you don’t mind too much cockroaches, it should be a good place.

We had a lovely long weekend here and nothing to fault with the property or management. Kate was always contactable, property was clean and the kitchen was well-equip. Unfortunately it was a bit wet during our stay so we couldn’t head down to the lake, however it would be perfect in better weather. Highly recommend this property.

May trip
Our stay was nice, very relaxing location. House was comfortable.
Tv down stairs didn’t work which was annoying as it would of been good to set the kids up with a movie at night down there. Also some essential like tea, sugar and milk would have been nice for arrival.
Overall trip was good, would do it again at a better time of year next time.
Thanks

Lake, birds, trees and rest
The house is in a wonderful little village by the lake. The pictures provided of the house are accurate. Loved the layout of the place. Sunset every day over the lake is gorgeous. Access to and from the lake is easy enough although on a slope and the ground was very damp/muddy from all the rain we’ve been having. A minor problem though.
Peaceful area and the cafe boat-shed nearby is wonderful.
If it’s a quiet week(end) you need then this will do it.

Amazing experience
Our family absolutely loved the house and having the lake right in the backyard. Being able to walk down to the lake several times a day was wonderful and the view from the home is just beautiful! We didn’t have the best weather, so that put a damper on our stay, but we tried to make the most of it and overall enjoyed our stay.

Would have been a great place for our Christmas break Unfortunately our family were not able to come and stay due to COVID restrictions so we returned to Sydney early after just 3 days!

Beautiful House with lovely views
As you walk into the house your eyes are drawn to the views of the trees and lake. Comfortable beds, spacious living area and 2 great kayaks to use as well. Be mindful that there are quite a few stairs to get from the house to the lower floor and a steep walk down to the lake.

Great Location
What an awesome location & property. The house was everything we'd hoped for and more but the location was unbelievable. Boating, skiing, tubing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding from the back yard followed by drinks on the deck as we watched the sun set over the lake was pretty special. Can't wait to book another long weekend there.

Highly recommended
Exceeded all expectations by far.
Kate (property manager) met us at the house and gave us all the information about the place and the area.
The house was really big and accommodated 2 adults and 5 kids extremely well (extra space if needed).
The lake is literally at the back door and the views from the house is awesome.
The kitchen is very well stocked with all your needs and high quality crockery for cooking (new bbq).
Excellent location with lots of beaches very close by. The kayaks were used all the time by the kids. Swimming in the lake is okay, however there are jelly fish. Kayak out a bit and it’s fine to swim.
I would go back in a flash without any doubts.
I highly recommend this house to all. Can’t fault our stay.

Relaxing break
the property was spacious that suited two families staying together in harmony, plenty of room and space including areas where children could be participating in a variety of activities separately if desired. the canoes were fantastic which added other activities to participate in. the local Bowling club a few minutes drive provided a good bistro great meals at reasonable price including take away pizzas. the shops and cafe 2 minute drive. Foster 15 - 20 minutes drive so easy to access. view of the lake from the house with lots of birds around added a nice atmosphere to relax. overall highly recommended.

A contemporary, well kept house, in a beautifully tranquil setting. Catered well for our family getaway of 10 adults and 2 children. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for looking after us, Kate!

Adequate but not good
Given incorrect address of property. Someone supposed to meet us there but no, had to try and connect with Emma who was in a bad area of phone reception then to be sent a text message with keysafe instructions. Lovely property and outlook. Cleanliness adequate but BBQ burnt out and unusable, kitchen pans and cookware were greasy and dirty, gas stove jets didn't work so well. No notification that if you are not with Telstra there is zero phone or internet coverage at the house. Went to a lot of trouble of co-ordinating 3 families so disappointed. Competitive market there with many properties so need to be doing it better for return visitors.

Great location, comfortable stay
We stayed there for 5 nights with family friends: 3 families, 6 adults and 6 kids. We brought two inflatable beds for kids with us and all were very comfortable in our rooms, it’s very spacious house indeed. Location is awesome and you can just stay in and enjoy the lake on some days, otherwise it’s very easy drive to numerous beaches and bushwalking.
Loved it!

Perfect property for a relaxing stay
I booked this property for my family to stay while they visited us for my wife’s 50th birthday. Perfect accomodation, lots of room with first class furniture and fittings and a great kitchen. I will definitely book this house again next time we have a large family gathering

A beautiful house with an amazing view
This is about the 4th or 5th time we have stayed in this property. It’s actually great if you have 2 families because there is separate upstairs and downstairs. The house is very modern and had a beautiful view of the lake. It attracts a lot of bird wildlife all day long. We will absolutely stay here again.
If there would be one very small thing to change, it needs equipping with a decent frying pans/pans that don’t stick (otherwise forget good scrambled/fried eggs at breakfast!).

Perfect getaway
This house is immaculate , has beautiful views of the lake and has everything you could ever need in it. It's perfect for families. I would definitely come back.

House was beautiful with easy access to the lake.
We had a great long weekend away with 3 families. The house had everything we needed but a bigger fridge or a beer fridge in the laundry would be great when catering for so many people. The kids loved playing down by the lake and flying kites on the large grasses area. Thanks again.

Beautiful quiet retreat for the whole family
We have just returned from our second stay. We have a 4 year old and 2 year old and my elderly parents joined us too. It is an amazing location, we enjoyed kiacking, swimming in the lake, cricket, reading on the deck and the park and cafe down the road is wonderful too. The lovely neighbour was super friendly even offering our children to feed the birds from his deck. We will definitely be back again.
