Cheap
Not very clean and a bit noisy but OK with ear plugs

Hotel limpio y con lo necesario para una estadía corta. Muy bien ubicado.
Está un poco deteriorado por el tiempo, unos arreglos estructurales lo mejorarían mucho

Location is the best! It is such a cute place and the staff are really nice.
Everything was great.

Close to the Malecon. Friendly staff. Brightly painted.
Rooms very basic. Other than a bed, that's it for furniture. No lamps, chairs, or table. Kitchen very basic, not much usable. Lacks cleanliness, Room cleaning was hit and miss.

Location, service, room
2.0 / 5.0
Staff, location
All rooms have a set of windows near ceiling open to outside cannot be closed. Can hear everything happen in other rooms. Inconsiderate guests had loud music and/or TV until early morning every night I stayed, impossible to rest at all.
2.0 / 5.0
The hotel has staff around the clock, we had a late check in and a very early check out, this was no problem. Very good location, shops, beach and restaurants near the hotel.
The hotel has very old bed linen and towels, so much so that it is not pleasant to touch them. I slept in clothes.
The toilet was in the room, or very old or dirty, I couldn't understand.
4.0 / 5.0
The hotel is cozy, friendly, there are always people hanging out to share a meal or a beer with. there are a lot of plants and a lot of cats, that make it a charming hotel. It’s very well located with the Malecon just a couple minutes away, a market, a laundromat, a vegan restaurant right down the street. Overall a nice stay! (try the tacos stand a few meters down the street!!)
Nothing really bothered us. But be aware that the beds are a little firm. The outside living room area can smell like cat litter. It can get noisy at night and late, if some guests listen to tv or music too loud. And the kitchen could be better equipped (very few utensils, no towel to dry your hands).
2.5 / 5.0
It is very central. It provides basic lodging at a very low price, with access to a small kitchen.
The beds are thin mattresses on concrete pads. Rooms very cell-like. There are too many cats which is bad for allergies. The kitchen is grubby. I'm glad that these places exist for budget travellers, but it's pretty rough on the whole. Needs a good scrub.
2.0 / 5.0
The rooms have private bathroom, and OK beds, but rooms are very small but that's OK too. Rooms are naturally ventilated having no glass windows only louvers. So you can HEAR EVERYTHING from the corridor and other rooms.
The property boasts cable TV in each room but I imagine most, if not all, of the clientele would be content to get entertainment over the WIFI on their cell phones. The TVs just facilitate a few inconsiderate guests disturbing their neighbors late at night and early in the morning. Removing the TVs would make this place SOOOO much better. Please remove the TVs because nobody cares about having a TV these days! Also, please put notices in each room asking guests not to have conversations after 11pm and before 7am. Apparently some guests imagine they are the only ones using the hotel.
If these simple improvements were made I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The location is very good, close to the beach and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, the internet was fast and the shower had great hot water.
The room was extremely dirty, but at least the bedding was clean. It was noisy because you can hear everything the neighbours did, and I mean EVERYTHING! The couple next door was so loud having relations, they woke me up.

You can't beat the price for the location. It's and old charming hotel with a communal kitchen and a beautiful garden space.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
Spitting distance from the Malecón.
They have house cats mingling around the garden. I love cats so that's a plus.
I would come back here.
First night we got eaten up by either bed bugs or something of the sort. The staff resolved it by giving us another room and everything was fine there.
They were quick in resolving the problem.
With this in mind, the hotel is a bit runned down by time although I thought this gives it a certain charm.

I love this pension. You don’t get to see a lot like these anymore. A true travel heaven with an outdoor kitchen and nice patio to chill. the owners are very friendly and it is very clean. Rooms are basic but have all you need and it is good value for money.
walls are thin so you can hear people around. but it is ok.

The only bonus was location.
The disrepair in every aspect. Tattered sheets, smelly bathrooms, bathroom was so small it was hardly usable.
4.0 / 5.0
It's an old building but a good value for money, very central, very clean and very welcoming and pleasant staff and the owner.
Kitchen facilities were very old and rotten and needs some attention. The room's walls need some cleaning as ants were crawling the walls.

it’s very relaxing, I loved the garden and being so close to everything in the city centre .
Hot water needs improvement.

I love this hotel, the location is close to the Malecon and shopping and everything you need, This is a friendly place with a great atmosphere and wonderful for the price. I highly recommend the hotel for young travellers who want to make friends when they travel. A lot of Mexicans stay here, so you can practice your Spanish and make good local friends. I am not young, but I enjoy the atmosphere so much? There is a communal kitchen and 4 family cats! Love it!
