Beautiful relaxing time in this gorgeous bach with so many personal touches, I felt privileged to be able to spend time there, Thanks!

A lovely little cottage where all our needs were catered for except for wifi…we could not receive or send any communication with family as our phones only work overseas if we have wifi. Unfortunately the house had a very musty smell every time we came home after being out. Overall we enjoyed our stay…loved being close to the water.

A lovely stay if you’re traveling with a plus-one. A quirky yet comfortable environment that naturally encourages you to relax. Definitely most appropriate for short stays, with a nice location close to local food places + activities.

It was such a cool place to stay, nice and close to the gateway to the bay of islands. We both loved all the very cool personal touches which were cleverly placed all over the house. The property was very clean and tidy and well looked after. And everything was well laid out and communicated to us by the property owner well in advance of our stay. Thanks for an awesome stay.

Pros:
Cute place.
Very comfortable bed.
Very close to town
Cons:
Communicating with the owner was a little difficult.
Place was very cold. The heat did not work right away, but was plenty warm when we returned the following afternoon.

Very quiet location, well equipped Bach

Nice and cozy place for a solo or a couple. A car would be recommended as it is not walkable to many of the places you may wish to go, although taxis are easy to get and affordable. Very clean and I enjoyed the back deck.

We enjoyed 5 days here and we were very comfortable. It was a short walk to Paihia along the beach if the tide was low enough. The bach was well equipped and we cooked meals on a couple of occasions.

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely Bach -close to the beach

The batch is lovely, easy to find and to access. Nice walk up and down the hill to Paihia center. The place has all the commodities needed and a very nice interior design touch. The only downside was the proximity with neighbours who like to play loud music in the morning.

It's got everything you need: good bed, full kitchen with all the utensils you need, bathroom with everything, heaps of towels, and outdoor area to chill. It's not central Paihia, so it's more peaceful, but so close as well, plus close to Opua, where you can take car ferries. It's very near a beach where you can collect so many Pipis. It's very quirky inside and there's some games and many movies to watch.

Enjoyed our stay.
The second bed was a little uncomfortable.
Overall had everything we needed for our stay.

My husband and I loved staying at this wee cottage. It had everything we needed, is a short drive from main Paihia and a relatively quiet location. The ferry to Russell is a short 5 min drive too.
The cottage was immaculate on arrival, everything fresh and clean, has a real homely feel to it with kitsch artwork and super comfy bed.
Just one small thing, the TV in the main room may need replacing as the screen was hard to view.
However, overall we really enjoyed our time here!! Thank you!!

We stayed three nights in this charming little bach. It is perfectly located right near a nice beach and very close to Paihia town. It has everything you need - it was really well set up, and the owners were very responsive and lovely to deal with! One quick caution, there is no WiFi (possibly a good thing?) and very few powr plugs, but this is a minor point and once we adapted to moving our devices around all was good. We would come back in a heartbeat.

A very serviceable place; good kitchen, quiet, overall quite comfortable. Lack of internet was an issue for someone traveling from overseas, and a non-functional TV was a concern. But mostly good.

Perfect place to stay for a couple of nights , the decor and feel of the place was so cozy :) we woke up straight across the road to the beach and coffee from the coffee cart which was an added bonus :) we will be back !

The house was in the perfect location. Right across from one of the beaches and a very short drive into the town. The house itself was very tidy and clean. The owners of the house were also very lovely. Overall an awesome stay and would totally go back again!

The cottage worked well for us. Close to everything . Comfortable. Lounge Furniture could use an update.
Great stay.

While the bach was cute and easily accessible, we did not find the bed or the living room furniture at all comfortable. The short walk to the beach was pleasant and the flora and fauna along it were quite lovely.

Was a very enjoyable place to stay.

Great little Bach for a couple BUT ...We are a family of 3 adults and we had to rearrange the entire living area to set up the adult sized futon, which then meant the area was unusable as a living space with most of the furniture all pushed to the side. The futon was extremely uncomfortable and was only able to be slept on when covered with all the available cushions.
The listing claims it can sleep four so we were extremely disappointed that 3 adults were not comfortably allowed for.

Great property with everything needed for our short stay. Paihia is a great base to explore the Bay of Islands - we found the car ferry at Opua very convenient and easy to use when travelling across to Russell and beyond. Would recommend a trip to Oke Bay to anyone who visits, it's about an hours drive away and requires a bit of agility to access but it's paradise!

This place is awesome. We took shelter here from a cyclone so not your normal rental. DVDs saved our sanity. But the place is clean and we'll stoked turn up with the basics and you'll be fine. Hopefully we'll be back

The cottage could be used in a decoration magazine, inside and the deck. It is very well equipped, thanks Nick.
The cottage is very close to the beach, but not in the center of Paihia, and it has no view.
We appreciated it was very calm during our stay in the beginning of February and we enjoyed it.
