Location is quiet and beautifully set in the jungle
The bed was too soft for me - but not a big issue

Only that it's in the middle of the jungle but there are 1000 hotels like that in Bali, Ubud
It's dirty, and the facilities are bad.
We found other people's hair in the bathroom and on the working desk !!!🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮

Staff were brilliant! Very friendly, any slight problem they would sort as quickly as they could. Rooms were lovely and spacious, cleaned regularly! Pool was also a highlight of our trip, and the breakfasts were lovely every morning!
Nothing to comment!

absolute lovely stay at the jungle vila!
We stayed here for 2 nights whilst exploring Ubud. The pathway towards the villa is about a 5-10 min walk which only bikes can go down but cars can drop you off just before then. If you need help with luggage when you arrive a bunch of lovely individuals will come down on their bikes and help you. The scenery is honestly the best i’ve seen so far and it really makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle! The rooms are set up to look like tree houses and have everything you need for your stay. The staff are so kind and welcoming.
Grab bikes can collect you right from the villa, just message them that you’re at the jungle villa and they will drive right to you. When returning on bikes to the villa type ‘ Sri Permana Villa’ and this will take you directly to the villa. If you need a car the pick up point if TYGR Sushi. Ubud centre is only a 5 min drive away so perfect location!
I would 100% recommend!
Would be a little awkward to get to and from if you came with kids/big group as cars can’t get down the road so you have to walk a lil but very easy to get bikes and great location.
Only downside is you may get woken up a little earlier than expected due to the birds but it’s all part of the jungle stay so just bring some ear buds!

Staff were amazing. Lil house was cute as anything, clean. Beds big and comfortable.
Lil bit of maintenance needed in accommodation but post covid losses... I imagine that won't even be issue in a few months. To be clear, I would definitely go back again and stay here cause it was such a good stay!
Lil bit of maintenance in accomadation, still very happy with stay!

Needs to serve vegetarian breakfast.
Location was ok.
Breakfast to be improved. Cleaning to be improved. Bathroom to be cleaned. Small ants and insects were always on the bed. Room was smelling bad, towels were smelling and dirty.

The property is so well nestled within the surrounding of the jungle. The swimming pool is awesome. We felt so close to nature.
Water pressure from the shower and the shower heater not functioning well.

The fact that at no stage before and or during booking, were we informed of the crazy narrowest long winding pathway to get there. One bike at a time. He takes the bag or a person. So several trips up and down
Guests should be informed of what to expect.
It also says no pets but the manager or owner brought her dog.
The stay was okay. The place has bali beauty and charm. Once u get there it opens up to an unexpected gem. Attention to detail and old towels, dark bathrooms with no windows, she is a fair 7

Nice jungle view. Kind hosts. Flexible breakfast time
Cleaning was erratic: Sometimes two days in a row, but mostly no cleaning was done (nor water was provided) for many days in a row.
The cottages have holes in the walls and between doors, so many mosquitoes come in.
The property can only be reached by scooter via a long, narrow path. I.e. no accessibility with car/taxi.

it was very nice in the middle of the jungle, super sweet little balconies and super big. staff was very friendly and helpful.
location only to reach by scooter not by car, I did not know that and I arrived very late in the middle of the night, luckily a local guy helpt to drive me with the scooter, drive back and get my luggage. I believe the address on the booking website is also nog correct.

The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable and went out of their way to lend me a phone charger for the time of my stay, make me a free breakfast when I missed it due to an early excursion and regularly checked in to see how our stay was going. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back! Thank you to all the amazing staff at The Jungle Villa!

Absolutely amazing view. You are very close to Ubud but still feels like in the middle of the jungle. Waking up with bird songs and sounds of nature. Our room was beautiful, the view is honestly everything. A hot shower on cold rainy days feels great, the bed is super comfortable. The staff was doing bed every day it felt really cosy to lay down in a freshly made bed every day. Communication with the manager is really good. The pool view is stunning and a very quiet environment. If you are going by car, you need to communicate so the staff will come to pick you up on a motorbike as there is no access to cars. Had an immediate response and the staff came super fast. Recommend and would stay again!
As we are vegan, there weren't many breakfast options for us. And would be great to put some cushions on the chairs outside, very uncomfortable seating that makes you wanna finish breakfast fast haha. Other than that can't complain! All went smoothly :)

The property has an amazing swimming pool with a breath taking view and that s mainly what you are paying for. It s a great place to enjoy the jungle vibe. Owner is responding quickly to messages and did her best to accommodate us. (she arranged for scouter rental)The boys working there are always ready to help.
It s not well maintained. There is a big gap between the doors, the door is never really closed even tho it s locked, therefore mosquitos ants, night butterflies and even a lizard managed to get in. The stones in the shower are few and they hurt your feet. The net that was supposed to circle the bed had holes and the cover of the bed was dirty. It s a good place to stay mainly for the pool and view for 1-2 nights but not more, by the end of the third night I was fed up with the insects inside the room.
