Our recent stay at Siesta Villas was nothing short of a dream come true. The breathtaking views of the ocean, the private access to the beach, and the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore were nothing short of magical. Siesta Villas exceeded our expectations in every possible way, making it an unforgettable vacation experience.
The chefs prepared delicious Jamaican dishes using local ingredients, giving us a taste of authentic Jamaican cuisine. Each meal was a flavorful journey through Jamaica's rich culinary heritage, and the personalized service added a touch of elegance to every dining experience.
The security team deserves special mention as well. Their vigilant presence provided us with an unparalleled sense of safety and peace of mind throughout our stay. We truly felt like our well-being was their top priority.
The grounds keeper's meticulous care of the property was evident at every turn. The lush greenery, impeccably manicured lawns, and vibrant flora created a serene oasis that was a joy to explore. The seclusion and privacy of the villa, combined with the quietness of the surroundings, made it the ideal setting for a productive and relaxing work vacation.
We're already planning our next visit and will be enthusiastically recommending this paradise to our friends and family!

We had a wonderful time in Runaway Bay at Bahia and Baywatch. The staff was amazing and took very good care of us. Transportation to and from the airport was easy and we even went on a little souvenir shopping trip. The property grounds are beautiful and ocean view is amazing, with beautiful sunsets. We wanted a relaxing vacation and definitely got what we asked for. Thank you Gary, and all the staff.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bahia cottage. It is beautiful, just like the photos and right on the beach! The grounds are immaculate too. The staff took such good care of us and it was very hard to say goodbye. We are already planning our return visit!!

Bahai did not disappoint. It was exactly as pictured, well appointed and beautiful grounds. Gary the owner was so easy to communicate with and provided helped coordinate a driver (Steve and Colleen) which worked out perfectly. They also drove us to our golf outing in Ocho Rios and then a stop at a cute Tiki restaurant on the way back.
We requested some groceries and they were all there waiting for us when we arrived. All of the staff is great. Janet is such an amazing cook and we truly enjoyed all of her traditional Jamaican meals. For my birthday she made a fresh tropical bouquet and had the table set, complete with birthday sash and all of my favorite foods. I couldn’t have asked for anything better way to spend my birthday week.
There is not much within walking distance so if you are looking for lots of activity this would not be the place for you. We were there for pure relaxation which was perfect. There is a small local beach bar just down the beach which we visited a few times. When we left I told everyone it was not Goodbye, but See You Later!

We had a fantastic stay at Siesta Villa. After reading all the reveiws we were confident we would enjoy our stay but I can not put into words how great our stay was. We work from home and needed to reset. This was the perfect location. You hear the waves crashing throughout the day and night. We were able to watch both the sunrise and sunset over the ocean from our covered back porchThe staff is very intuitive and allowed us our privacy when we were just relaxing. However, they were super helpful when needed. Providing a clean and welcoming environment. Janet the cook created fantastic Jamaican meals and quite a few laughs. Gary was very responsive to questions both before and during our stay and helped coordinate the driver ( Steve and Colleen) for airport pick up that we also used during our trip. He also notified me of the documents required to enter Jamaica. This was a trip of a lifetime primarily because of where we chose to stay. We are already planning a trip back !

I cannot say enough about our amazing experience at Bahia/Baywatch. Spectacular view, amazing staff and home cooked Jamaican meals! We were welcomed in by the staff, who upgraded us to the bigger house next door (Baywatch) so we could have more space for our family of 4. This was an amazing surprise!
Janet made all of our meals for us while we were visiting. She gave us a menu of items to choose from at the beginning of our stay. She got the groceries she would need - and we just paid for them at the end of the trip. Definitely have her make the ox tail - it is a treat! She always went above and beyond for us - she even treated my daughters jellyfish sting! The staff was on top of things, keeping the house and yard tidy. The landscaping is wonderful - so many tropical plants to see!
Absolutely pack snorkel gear! You walk right out the door to the ocean. The water is so clear and there is great snorkeling right out the back door.
Steve can help you out with transportation and will take you on whichever excursions you would like. It is great to be able to leave your things safely with him while you are exploring Jamaica.
We will definitely keep this on our list of destinations to visit again!

Perfect Paradise
What an incredible place to spend a honeymoon. My wife and I arrived worn out from a day of travel and were immediately greeted by some of the friendliest people we have ever met. The staff is awesome. All of the stress of travel immediately disappeared as soon as they opened the doors and windows to our quaint little cottage by the sea. Nancy and Yvonne had dinner ready for us just after we arrived which was perfect because he didn't have time to each lunch on the way. Breakfast and dinner each day were wonderful. The groundskeeper (Marlin) was always close by to answer any questions we had and gave his time graciously when I asked for a tour of the property or anytime I needed something. I highly recommend bringing a mask and snorkel as there are shallow reefs are just steps off shore. We were able to use a kayak and go about 300-400 yards off shore to some deeper water and snorkel some really nice reefs in 15-20' of water. Our only regret was renting a car as we only used it to go to and from the airport and to the Bob Marley Museum. There simply wasn't anywhere better to be than where we were at Bahia Villa. We will definitely be back.

Simply Perfect
I do not know where to start. Pictures cannot capture the waves or Janet’s cooking, yes you get a cook. It is almost unbelievable for the amount. I am very picky and we will definitely rebook. We didn’t need any excursions, we were satisfied with just enjoying the cottage and the beach.

Pure Paradise & Relaxation
Incredible staff and clear communication from start to finish.
Literally steps from the ocean with a gorgeous view. The grounds are lush and perfectly manicured.
Big thanks to Yvonne, Nancy, Marlin and Cambell for feeding us well and keeping us happy and safe all week.
We will never forget the cool breeze, turquoise waters and wonderful hospitality.
We’ll be back soon!
Thank you.

EXCEPTIONAL
Bahia was everything I could wish for. The staff was very friendly, professional and always smiling. A special thanks and shout out to Gary.
The surroundings, bedroom and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The location was perfect and allowed access to the beach, restaurant or local stores in minutes.
Covid precautions were in place and maintained at all times as staff wore masks, even outdoors and always sanitizing and cleaning.
My only regret was not extending my stay. Definitely will be back soon.

Siesta Villas, Runaway to Your own Private Paradise!
Our ten days in Runaway Bay, staying in Bahia villa, was over and above our expectations. The pictures are accurate, and prepared us for a very comfortable villa, just steps to the ocean. The property has an abundance of trees, including mango and almond, and an abundance of birds, butterflies and vocal insects. We had plenty of shade, as well as two strategically placed hammocks, to spend days reading and napping.
With breezes every day, we only needed the AC at night. There are mosquitoes, but mostly at night. We never even felt the need to use bug spray. We felt very safe in the compound, since the owner, Gary, separates the property from the road with a very tall (ten foot?) concrete wall, with locked wooden gates. At night, an employee patrols the property as an additional layer of safety. There is noise from the road, the villa is located on a busy road, but it didn’t bother us.
What I didn’t anticipate was the level of personal attention we received from the staff, Janet, Yvonne, Cassy, Marlin and Calvin. The ladies prepared our food, breakfast and dinner, every day, always with enough leftover for lunch. We tried local Jamaican favorites, and they were delicious! I have dietary restrictions, and Janet was very careful and attentive to be sure I had what I needed. Marlin kept the grounds beautiful and brought out water “toys” for us (kayak, life jackets) and Calvin guarded us every night, patrolling the grounds.
Our host, Gary, visited us during our stay. He was checking that we were being cared for (Yes!) and gave us a tour of the grounds and some history of the property. In the weeks prior to arriving, he always responded quickly to my many inquiries, and helped us navigate the requirements of COVID. I felt that any concern of mine, was a concern of his.
I admit that I had concerns regarding the safety of visiting Jamaica, but we never felt “unsafe”. The Jamaican people are enthusiastic and welcoming of visitors. There is a strong security presence in all the areas we visited, not police, but security. I don’t know if that was COVID related or if it’s standard, but it all worked for us. We didn’t go out at night and didn’t spend any time in Kingston or Montego Bay.
If you are looking for a beautiful Caribbean experience, with your own beach and grounds, and awesome staff, this is the place for you. If Bahia is too small, Gary has two 5-bedroom homes on the same property! Just send him a message.

Paradise
We had a perfect stay at the Bahia Cottage. From the pre-stay communications with the owner, Gary to the time we packed our car to head to the Mo Bay airport, it was flawless. We were greeted by Nancy and Yvonne and they had a delicious meal prepared for our arrival. The cottage is directly on the beach, so be prepared for amazing views of the turquoise sea and plenty of opportunities to swim and kayak at your will. In addition to Nancy and Yvonne, Marlon (our groundskeeper) became almost like family to us. This is a wonderfully relaxing experience in paradise - we give it our highest recommendation!

Better than expected and expectations were high. Picture perfect location right on the beach. Cutest cottage with everything we needed and more. Our chef Sheree was delightful and food was outstanding. Marion and rest of staff took care of everything. We were spoiled by their outstanding service. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

Paradise Found
This place is amazing, the view and swimming from out of the property is really beautiful, you can either snorkel or just relax in the hammock listening to the waves. The staff are wonderful people and you will enjoy well-kept grounds, a sense of security, and great food thanks to their efforts. I hope to return some day.

Absolutely amazing!
My husband and I stayed at Bahia for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have made a better choice! The villa was exactly as pictured and was incredibly clean and comfortable. Janet and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and took care of everything. We had breakfast and dinner at the villa every night and the food was always incredible. Whenever we needed transportation or wanted to go in an excursion, Janet helped us arrange it. This was the perfect Jamaican getaway. 10/10 would recommend!!
