Just exceptional! Best location on Moorea. Gorgeous property. Private. Amazing views. One of the very best in my world travels!

The villa was beautiful. We felt well situated on the island. Sissi and Elsa were very helpful. I am glad we rented a car for our stay.
5.0 / 5.0
Sissi's place is exactly as advertised, and exceeded even our highest of expectations. We had a few issues, like me deleting the welcome email, so I had to reach out for help on two separate occasions and Sissi responded within 10 minutes each time!!! Be sure to stop at a local market on the way in to take advantage of the well stocked kitchen, and to save some $$$ while traveling to the islands. Everything is soooo expensive. The plunge pool is perfect!!! We were in it all the time, and were thankful it was not heated!!! Take advantage of the large deck to view the billions of stars in the evening while relaxing on the day bed. Very happy with our stay and would definitly come back! Oh, and yes, you will make friends with the gecko's...lol

A wonderful stay in this gorgeous, private villa, nestled in the hills of Moorea, overlooking the sea. Highly recommend this property to anyone. Wonderful outdoor spaces to relax, a great kitchen for cooking and entertaining. This space would be great for a family or a small group of friends, but is ample and ultra plush for a couple. A car is a must. Please note that the 'jacuzzi' isn't a hot tub, just a small pool with bubbles, but very nice. Also, if anyone in your party has a serious issue with insects, this may not be ideal for you! One has to embrace the fact that you're practically staying in a jungle, and the house isn't designed to, nor can it keep all bugs out. It may take a little getting used to, but be warned if you have a real problem with creepy crawlies! Anyways, there are lots of cute geckos that help to consume some of them ;)
All the same, I must recommend this space 100%. Wonderful communication with the hostess, as well. Thanks so much!

This property is mind blowing. The peace and serenity abound. The owners attention to detail and decorating is refreshing. The beauty of the valley that this house sits in, with a view of the ocean, made this stay the favorite of our trip. The outdoor shower and jacuzzi combo were a favorite of my 13 year old son. Really, a simply beautiful property to stay at.

Hard to say enough about this property. Stunning location; fantastic accomodations. Unlike many rentals that are understandably "generic" in their decoration and feel, Villa Eutierra is clearly a refection of the owner, Sissi's, values and taste. And tasteful it is.
We're not afraid of cooking on a vacation, and we made breakfasts and some dinners during our stay. The kitchen is well outfitted.
The location is a high-end, gated housing development that winds steeply up a canyon. It is the last house going up the hill, so you feel surrounded by nature. As i said, it is stunning. Water views are relatively modest, and in the distance, but that was expected given it is not on the water. But, the expansive deck is just a beautiful place to sit (bug repellant necessary, at least during the rainy season).
Really hard to say enough about the place. My only quibbles: we are a family of readers, and once the sun goes down the light in the house is poor--really hard to find spots where there is enough light to read comfortably. And, to Sissi, my humble request is that you add a bluetooth speaker so music could be streamed. Otherwise, pretty magical.

It's the last house on the road up in the mountains, paved and well kept roads to get up to it. Very nice gated community and well kept grounds. The house has a wrap around large deck with multiple seating areas, covered dat bed, outside ahowerand bath and a cool water jetted tub to cool off in. The veiws are stunning and the sound of bird songs in the morning was amazing, can't say enough about the views. The house was clean and well appointed with all the amenities we needed. The interior decor is nice and comfortable. The host was great and a pleasure to deal with from booking to check out, great communication throughout the whole process. Highly recommend this place and hope to come again.

Clean, Safe, Convenient location. Charming house. Should be noted the stairs inside are steep with no guardrail. Outside lighting did not work when we arrived and took 3 days to get fixed, inconvenient since sunset was early. We feel that lights should have been a standard check before guests arrive. Place was very clean. We loved our time there

Villa Eutierra is the perfect name for this home - "a good and positive feeling of oneness with the earth and it's life forces" This home is in the perfect location overlooking the ocean and forest. It was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. We loved enjoying our morning coffee and breakfast while enjoying the views from almost every direction. It was beautifully decorated and updated with a local flare. We were so thankful and grateful to have the opportunity to stay at this magical piece of paradise. And hope to one day return.

This was something else I have to say. It’s a unique experience that you won’t find at any hotel/resorts in Moorea or most of French Polynesia. But this isn’t for everyone. And by that, I mean, you have to like sharing your space with geckos, skinks and all sorts of bugs ( that geckos feast on…constantly). You can keep all the windows and doors shut of course but this won’t keep them out 100%. The sliding doors have gaps big enough for the little guys to sneak through. My wife was a bit freaked out the first day/ night with, seeing them walk on walls, but after I gently cornered a gecko and got him to climb on my hand and then my little kid’s hand and finally on her hand, we were all friends and lived happily ever after 😬
The views are amazing, the deck is amazing, the tropical forest is also amazing!
The jacuzzi doesn’t work and it also leaks most of the water you fill it up with in half a day. That should be fixed as it’s very wasteful to use up all that water and it’s also a bit misleading when you’re looking at the photos and expecting to enjoy that jacuzzi from time to time. I noticed leaking jacuzzi’s all around the complex so it’s not just a one off at their place.
The outdoor shower and bathtub they have at the villa ( that not many around there (if any) have, is absolutely great! It sort of compensates for the jacuzzi not working.
It was a lot of fun and we totally recommend “Gecko House” as my kid called it, for an unforgettable experience!

Wonderful, private fully equipped property. Beautiful place and beautiful setting. Property manager attentive and easy to deal with. We had issues with the Fridge as it didn't quite work well all the time and getting a repair during our short stay over a weekend didn't seem to be feasible. The outdoor bathtub needs to be cleaned, it was unusable in the state that it was in and we were looking forward to using it. Finally, common areas can get hot due to no air conditioning... The place is beautiful, a few minor changes and it is paradise.

Great private space in a perfect location — just a few minutes drive from all the best beaches and restaurants. Friendly neighbors and beautiful views.

Gorgeous location. Beautiful home and property. Very much a zen feel and we enjoyed yoga on the big deck every morning. Only downside was power outage 4 times when we tried to use stove and oven at same time (turned off everything else in house, but still took out the power). We quit using oven and everything else worked out fine. Other than that minor issue, everything was perfect. Even made a few gecko friends. Would definitely stay here again.

we absolutely loved our stay here. Having your morning coffee sitting on the hammock looking out to the stunning view was just magical. The house is so beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Communication was seamless and the house spotless. We would 100% recommend staying here.

We looooved this property and our entire stay on moorea. The villa was gorgeous, private, and so serene. We rented a moped and easily got around the property and the island. It was close to all our daily activities such as whale tours, restaurant reservations, and the shark and stingray lagoon. Our only regret, is not being able to stay longer. Will definitely be back:)

The house, decor, location... everything was fabulous.
Already planning our return trip and this house is included in it!
Oh... one problem... there was pepper but no salt... but that was it.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars on everything is because the beds were really uncomfortable and the outdoor bathtub is not the same as the pictures, nor does the outdoor shower work (no hot water). And be prepared for bugs that bite, you are in the jungle. Loved the kitchen and the main bathroom shower!

The pictures and listing do not do this place justice. It is an absolutely beautiful property. The setting is idyllic: you can see the ocean in the distance but are also surrounded by beautiful mountains and vegetation. The property is located at the very end of the street at the top of the neighborhood so it is very quiet and private. The host was very responsive to my inquiries and the local caretaker was as well. (We had an issue with the air conditioning which she responded to promptly—it definitely worked better in one bedroom than the other.) The interior decor and amenities were very nice, and the outdoor seating area was beautiful as well. Very highly recommended!

Pure Magic
We've been on many vacations, but have never felt as relaxed, as comforted, and as peaceful as we did staying at Villa Eutierra. A truly magical home at the end of a road, high above beaches, and tucked into the lush tropical forest of Moorea. You will find no place like it. We loved our time there. It was luxurious, restorative, and utterly calm. The facilities were top-notch, the communication was easy and open and everything exceeded our expectations. We will be returning.

Villa Euterria
We had an amazing time staying at Villa Euterria during the Mo'orea portion of our honeymoon in French Polynesia! It was an immaculately maintained villa with a lovely, sweeping view of the ocean. The amazing pictures you see on VRBO are 100% accurate!! Although it is part of the former Legends resort, the villa itself is near the top of the hill & feels very secluded from other villas/guests. I recommend for anyone hoping to avoid a typical resort experience.
Sissi (owner) & Blondine (property mgr) were incredibly helpful and responsive. The villa was ready for us early & they made sure that information was communicated. Blondine gave an extensive walk-through before we checked in so we knew what to expect. Sissi was available to contact on Whatsapp in case of unexpected issues (we didn't have any).
We especially enjoyed the views from our outdoor breakfast nook, (provided) snorkeling masks, & independence of having a well-equipped kitchen. Being able to do all of our laundry before taking off for Bora Bora was an added bonus!
Tips for future renters:
Sissi's guide books have useful notes!
Rent a car/scooter (villa @ top of hill)
Bring bug spray - its the jungle
Running A/C and multiple appliances all at once will cause electricity to go out, but is easily fixed by pressing button outside villa (Blondine showed us when we checked in).
Overall, 5 star property & would most definitely stay here again next time :)

Beautiful views!
My family really loved staying here. The house is in a beautiful area but you do need a car if you decide to stay here because it’s pretty far away from everything. The manager Blondie is a true sweetheart. We love her. The Maintenance yard man, Heremani was a gem also. Then when our lights went out in the kitchen the housing development manager, Johan came up to help us! Such gems! Every single person we met on the island was amazing! They made us feel like family.
Now back to the house, oh that house. It was sparkling clean when we arrived. Everything was nicely folded and it was inviting. The views are so amazing that nothing else matters. I could stay in the house for days on days just staring at the views. The jacuzzi didn’t get hot but that’s ok my kids enjoyed it anyway. The pool at the entrance was almost all ours to use, most of the neighbors didn’t come down to swim. Everything worked fine in the unit that we used. The washer and dryer are tiny so don’t except to do a lot of laundry. We learned we couldn’t use the dryer at bedtime when the AC was running otherwise it would surge out and the power had to be restored via the electric button on the outside of the house. We never used the dishwasher so I can’t say for sure if it worked, though I believe it caused a few electric surges when the power went out in the kitchen and we heard a loud pop. Not sure what the load pop was all about but whatever it was it didn’t happen again after Johan unplugged it from the wall and flipped the breaker. If there was one thing I had to say I didn’t care for it would be the steep drive. It was hard for us newbie standard car drivers to get up at first lol! But other than that we will definitely come back to the villa if the owners will have us. Moorea is AMAZING. If you want paradise this is it.
Also to comment on the review left about ants and lizards , yes you will see ALOT but what do you think you will get with a open house concept to nature. This villa is essentially a cabin in the mountains. We love nature so these little guys didn’t bother me at all. I’m curious to see how that couple faired ok the rest of their vacation lol! Anyways… if a few bugs or lizards don’t bother you this is truly the best place to stay it’s so beautiful.

Did not end up staying
Did not end up staying due to an unforseen issue. Owner had prompt communication however and we were able to come to a solution about the issue. Nice views and very private. However the price to be paid is a very steep/winding road to the house which would be difficult for those looking to bike/walk (car is fine) and geekos/jungle atmosphere-read: occasional bugs (fine if your comfortable with those things.)

It was a 5 star stay without a doubt. Can’t wait to go back and recommend to friends.

Listing to the waves crash early morning and late at night from this hillside hideaway was awesome. The interior decor was stunning and the home is well equipped for fun and cooking.

Contemporary convenience with views
This property is accurately described in the VRBO listing, with outdoor areas even more appealing than expected. Comfortable, well equipped kitchen, laundry, privacy in a lush tropical setting with views of the steep canyon and ocean in the distance. Numerous restaurants and shops nearby. Blondine was very helpful and responsive.

The most beautiful vista ever!
We loved staying at this finely designed villa that overlooks one of the most majestic valleys full of coconut palms and a turquoise lagoon far off in the distance. Every design and space management detail is thought out and the outdoor shower is heavenly!

The villa is at the end of the road in a small development set into the mountain above the sea. The entire villa is spectacular; beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with a personal touch, and has a rustic feel that fits perfectly into the environment. The house is all wood and windows, and the deck affords a spectacular view of the mountains and the ocean, but is almost completely secluded from any neighbors. The outdoor deck has a naturally heated jacuzzi that is perfect for relaxation, accompanied by an outdoor shower and bathtub. There are plenty of chairs, sofas, and lounges for relaxing, including an outdoor bed. The deck also has a table for dining with a view. Nothing beats breakfast on the deck with a view of the ocean -- simply sublime. The interior of the house is spacious, with enough room for 6 people without crowding, with a well-equipped kitchen with quality appliances. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also beautifully decorated, and all the baths are supplied with body wash and shampoo. There are also laundry facilities, a private outdoor space off the bedrooms, and a small yard beyond the deck, including papaya and banana trees. A perfect spot for relaxation that is tucked away in a quiet part of the island, especially now with the Intercontinental Hotel closed. The house was spotless when we arrived, and we were met by Blondine, the local property manager who was very helpful. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay on Moorea.

Slice of Paradise
As great as the property pictures are, they really don’t do it justice. This home is amazing. You will be so thankful you went the VRBO route rather than staying at a resort. Extremely clean, beautiful and lots of privacy. You’ll want to spend a lot of your stay at the property. 5-Star place! Aside from the property, Sissi is an excellent host. Very flexible and helpful, especially with the current complexities of travel. We’ll definitely be back next year.

Stunning property, perfect for families.
We just checked out of Villa Eutierra and couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay there. Having been to French Polynesia for multiple stays through the years, the affordability, space, and comfort provided by a “home” stay are unmatched, particularly when traveling with kids. The villa is spacious, thoughtfully decorated and provided ample space to make our 11-day stay just perfect. The villa is situated in a lush, forested location on the hillside. Ocean views from other properties at Legends may be better, but Villa Eutierra provides such a lovely, private location we wouldn’t have traded it! Check-in process (getting details like gate code, recommendations for restaurants/excursions) was a bit lacking, but in all we found our stay to be thoroughly memorable and restful, and hope to be back someday soon! Thanks to Sissi and Blondine for helping make our stay so enjoyable.

Beautiful, but hot and awkward location.
Beautiful property up the side of a mountain rain forest. But very hot as no screens on doors/windows so you can't open at night because of Mosquitos!!! air conditioner only in bedrooms, so Kitchen/Livingroom very hot all day all night. You have to have a car to go anywhere. There is a nice public beach (used to be club med) a 10 minute drive away. Main Grocery store 30 min away. BUT the steep difficult drive up to the Villa is really nerve wracking. Tight corners that you can't see around and steep incline. But if you want peace and quite you get it.

Picture Perfect Getaway
Our family loved our six-night stay at Villa Euteierra. Located just up the hill from a major resort, it boasts spectacular views and offers loads of amenities and the privacy of your own place. We especially loved the expansive deck and the aesthetic of the interior. The home is decorated with great taste and is well appointed for all your needs.
The communication with the owners and the property manager was excellent--both leading up to our stay and during. If you are looking for space, privacy, and serenity, this is the place for you.

Really Spectacular
We can't say enough good things about Villa Eutierra. First, the location is amazing! The house is located at the dead end of the road at the top of a small development on the side of a truly beautiful valley that flows to the ocean. That means you have virtually total privacy; you really feel as if you are in your own "Kalalau Valley". It makes it a very peaceful place, but is only 2 minutes from the main road and the beach. The house is also very tastefully done, nice artwork on the walls, very comfortable furniture, everything is there. The kitchen is very well equipped; we know because with the amazing fresh fish, veggies and fruit available in the markets, we pretty much cooked all time. The deck is also amazing, huge and super comfortable and the plunge pool / hot tub is a wonder on hot days (which they all pretty much are). Oh, and the outdoor shower.... well, let's just say we never figured out why there needs to be one (or two) inside as well! And a shout out to Blondine, the caretaker who took care of us, even coming by in a snap when we discovered a flat tire on our car, and helped us figure out how to get it fixed. We also didn't book our whole time in the house, figuring we'd spend the last couple of nights in one of the over-water bungalows on the beach, but after 6 nights in the Villa, we pitched that idea and just stayed up on the hill. We will come back!

This property is spectacular. With views of the ocean, and a tranquil energy truly make you feel like you are one with the earth. The house was very nice, very clean and the views were breathtaking. Highly recommend, and great for a larger group of people. Note to future quests, bring plenty of bug spray!

Exceeded High Expectations
We stay in VRBO properties a lot. It is rare for a place to be more beautiful and spectacular than the pictures as Villa Eutierra is. Part of it is the amazing location -- perched high up on a hill surrounded by lush tropical vegetation with a beautiful view of the ocean, but the thoughtfulness and care that has gone into Villa Eutierra really makes this place special. Blondine was very helpful with check-in and other matters. Sisse has done a great job with this place. We stayed for 8 days and had everything we needed, including a choice of travel insulated bags for picnics. The jacuzzi on the deck is perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The outdoor shower is awesome, never used the inside one. Can't recommend this place enough!

Unique island retreat
We stayed at Villa Eutierra for three nights before joining a cruise out of Papeete, and it was a great way to unwind and get over jet-lag. The mountain side location, wonderful views and outside deck and plunge pool made it a unique and memorable visit. The actual check-in process was a little confusing since it is a private house in a gated community and we did not have the code to the front gate into the resort and it is not manned. Improved check-in information would have made it a lot easier.

Paradise on Earth
Nothing I can write will truly give the credit deserved of this beautiful home. The minute my son and I walked in the feeling was peace. I was so excited to see him so happy. The views are incredible and on more than one occasion we saw whales cresting, the sunrises and the colors of the sky was magnificent. This Villa has a well equipped kitchen for cooking, but being on vacation in lovely Mo'orea with all the great restaurants I kinda gave in to saving money. You will see many Mooreans riding their bikes with baguettes in their baskets. Talk to the locals and you will find the hidden secrets. I booked to excursions and I would do both again because they were awesome. Miti Boat tours with an authentic Mo'orean lunch and Jet Skiing. Dont book to many because this Villa is located by great snorkeling. Do go to Coco Beach for the day, we went 4 times that is where you will find great snorkeling. Restaurants are very close by Mayflower our favorite, Less No Stress and Holy Cow Steakhouse. The Villa is wonderful its open to the beauty of the French Polynesian, you wont want to leave. Book it if you see it on VRBO you won't be disappointed. Thank you Sissi, Mark and Blondie ( too she is awesome) thank your for your dedication to stopping Human Trafficking and letting people like myself enjoy paradise! Lo Or nana Melanie, Alex ,Carla and Brandon (Brandon who wouldnt get out of the plunge pool) lol
