About this villa rental
Ideally located between Antibes, Monaco, the villa is a stone's throw away from the sea and the hinterland of Nice. Villa Mimosas is user friendly and can accommodate up to 10 people. The Internet / Wifi, TV and telephone are provided by Orange.
With a large living room of 80m2 and rooms spread over 3 floors, bigger groups can enjoy a comfortable space away from one another whenever they wish.
All time favorites include lazing on the beach of the Bay of Angels and the bay of Villefranche and day excursions on the coast and the hinterland. The old town is15 minutes walk away and is very picturesque with its narrow and busy streets full of shops and market cuisine restaurants. Closer to home, restaurants of the Port and the 'Marais' of Nice are aplenty and offer varied and generally excellent food.
Bus lines 100 and 81 stop in front of the houseand will take you to the Italian border along the coast via: Villefranche, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, Beaulieu, Eze, Cap d'ail, Monaco, Roquebrune and Menton.
All my visitors without exception were delighted with their stay as they were able to share, discover and do what they wanted from the Villa Mimosas.

Our stay with Albert was very good. He met with us and was available for any questions that we may have had.
The house was in a very convenient area. Buses out front and a short walk to the old town and beach.

Lovely period house tucked away behind a wall close the port and city
The property is well equipped and spacious and Albert was close by to help us if we had any questions
It was a perfect place to visit the city and for cycling along the coast and in the hills behind
Would highly recommend

The rental was a perfect size for our large 2 family reunion. We had 4 adults and 7 children and there was plenty on space that we were not in each other's way. It was also in a wonderful location in relation to the beaches as well as the main part of town. Plenty of stuff in walking distance! It is also well protected and far enough off the street that we felt very safe. Albert was a fantastic host with great communication from the start and made sure we were well taken care of during the stay. The only critiques I have was the cleanliness and the noise. The house is quite old with a lot of charm but it also felt a little dirty upon check in, there was dirt and hair in the 2 of the showers/bathrooms, I would just recommend a better cleaning service between renters. Also the house is located off a main road and being that it was summer and very hot we slept with the windows open which made it very noisy at night, you can hear all the city and street noise. Obviously this is not something that can be controlled, I would just recommend, if you're going during hot summer time, be prepared to bring ear plugs. Overall though we had a great stay and were thankful for Albert and his home.

Stayed here as part of a group of ten and had a great time over a long weekend.
The house is lovely - 5 huge bedrooms spread over four floors of a massive house. Location is good only about 15 mins stroll from Old Town Nice and Albert (the host) couldn't have been more helpful.
Kitchen and bathrooms were fine, although there are so many options close by that we didn't cook in.
The area is pretty hilly, but if you don't mind that then it is the perfect place for this type of break.

As a family group of 7 + 2 enfants going to a wedding on Cap Ferrat it was perfect. Short walk to boulangerie, supermarche restaurants and pebble beaches. Stop right outside for buses 81 & 100 for 15 minute ride to better beach or up the coast to Monaco & beyond. No hire car needed.
Albert and his family were perfect hosts rallying around to help with any problems.

This is a great house in a perfect location. But, things are not always as they appears. There is no entrance for a car so we had to park in the middle of a busy streets, cross the street with our luggage and park somewhere else. We were a group of 10 and the first night, we did not have hot water because the water heater only fonction during the night. Pictures are not representing the all house and all the bedrooms. Some are not in a great condition. A strong humidity smell was present all around the house and even more in the basement where one of the bedroom is. The bathroom there does not have a ventilation system ! I had to request that one of the shower curtain being change as it was VERY dirty. The owner told me that we don't wash them, we change them ! Well, if you want to go there fort its nice location, make sure you check the hot water, parking situation, cleaneness of the house. I won't go back for sure

Had a great experience in Nice staying at Alberts villa over the course of the nice ironman. Albert was very helpful when we arrived and flexible during the stay in hosting our slightly younger crowd! The house was so close to everything and set back far enough from the road to be clear of noise from traffic. A lot of light also comes into the communal areas and there is a great garden for enjoying meals which was an added bonus.

A group of 8 stayed at Alberts apartment in Nice and it was fantastic!! The apartment is so big that you can easily accommodate large groups.
Albert was a lovely host and was easy to contact whenever we had any questions about the area and places to go.
Nice is a beautiful town and the apartment is right in the heart of the town, only a 5 min walk to the harbour. It's also only 10 min from the closest train station which gets you to Monaco for €3 and in only 15min
Great apartment, great town and a great host!!!

We were an extended family of 10 that really enjoyed our stay at the house. It was well cared for and the owner was always available for any questions or assistance and made us feel very welcome. The spacious rooms are on four levels, with a great living area, dining table and kitchen for our large group to gather together. It is well located and we managed just fine without a car - walking or taking the bus to neighboring cities. There are some public beaches very close by, just 10-15 minutes walk, or you can walk to the private beaches of Nice in about 35 minutes. There are several great restaurants by the port that are just 10 minutes away, as well as a large grocery store. The kitchen has all of the things we needed for preparing some meals at home as well. There was no air-conditioning, but fans in every room and we were never uncomfortable for our two week stay in July and August. The internet connection worked very well. We could not have been more pleased with renting this house and the hospitality and assistance provided by the owner. It was great to all be together making for a wonderful family vacation that we will all remember in very positive terms for years to come.
