Location
Never saw one staff member... but all was arranged. Parking possible but not as mentioned in explanation
3.0 / 5.0
The location is good, there is a metro station 5 mins from the hotel. You have breakfast for free which was great - it is some sweet pastries (those long lasting ones that are packaged), waffles and you can make coffee in a machine - the really cheap machine coffee. or tea. There was room service. Nice big windows. I recommend for when you want to go low budget travelling - definitely not for some vacations.
There were a lot of things “almost broken” in the room, like its hanging on the last straw. The room was okay to just sleep in, but nothing more, definitely only for those who are trying to low budget travel.

The place is nice , has a good location, owner is very friendly

the location was spot on, great value for money and John the owner couldn’t be more lovely.
Not having air conditioning it can be uncomfortable on very hot days and evenings. The stairs are steep and my only other complaint is that the towels are a bit small.

All without location.

It was available and competitively priced for Rotterdam
Bathroom was bleak. It is a very long way from the centre. Wasn't emailed the door code as promised so had to call and got a frustrated (presumably off-site) person give us the code.

nice private hotel, friendly staff

Nice and quiet location, nice canal view from the window. Bed and the pillows were good. Also it had a fridge, tv and kettle in the room. Good budget room.
Toilet and shower in the hallway was little bit odd and maybe little bit uncofortable but atleast the room had their own toilet and shower.

The view and staff
Absolutely awful hotel, a prisión cell would have more charm. I was given a screwdriver to open the bathroom and toilet. The mattress was terrible. Nothing has been done in this hotel since the 70s. I left 2 days in to a 8 day stay. The owners a clearly so lazy they don't do any maintenance. The brown front door had white fingerprints!! Don't stay here. Booking you should remove this hotel from your listings.

Staff were friendly and was relatively cheap given the location and surrounding prices.
The room is in desperate need of an update, i.e., toilet plumbing was held together with tape and the furniture/carpets/curtains are old and worn. The walls are paper thin and people were in and out of their rooms until the early hours which made it difficult to get a decent nights sleep (not the hotels fault but important if you are looking for rest).

The staff is very nice and caring. He gave us some great local recommendations. The room was big and clean. We also got free breakfast in the mornings.
