Accogliente e bellissimo panorama
Pochi posti auro vicino alla reception

The biggest advantage of the hotel is the view, the panorama on the sea and Taormina was absolutely amazing and visible from our room as well as from other places. The pool is also very nice although I think it could be closed a bit later as there were still some guests who would like to enjoy swimming after 18.
The reception service was very nice and polite but not all the members spoke English well.
The downside were breakfasts as we think that in 4 star hotel they could be more various. Also the staff at restaurant was not very polite.
From 22 p.m. till midnight there was a disco show which was too loud.
WI-FI in reception in our room was very poor.

nice view, location to beach and bus stop to Taormina.
the entertainment went on SO late, our room was above the terrace and it was impossible to sleep. k asked what entertainment was running the night before our very early flight and was told it was just ‘animation’ - that was a lie as it went on until 2am and we had to be up at 4am. the entertainment does not respect other guests who don’t like to party every night until 2am.

Very nice location
The structure and rooms are old, badly furnished, and the entire room floor smelled like a public bathroom. No sound proofing, I wook up in the morning with the upstair guest opening the (noisy) drawers and flushing the toilet. No appliances whatsoever in the bathroom.
2.5
Generally, old building, with everything so so-called “old style”. Terrible wi-fi.

prime location quick walk to the beach…elevator to the ground floor made the trek much faster!

the property was situated in a great spot. Beautiful views and handy for the beach.
I had to pay an extra €58 to use the elevator????? and the pool. i found this to be a very odd extra to pay on arrival. not impressed. The breakfast was stale bread, rotten fruit and awfully rude staff every day. very noisy cleaning staff in the halls from 8am. The bar was NEVER open and even if it was there was children asleep on the couches and floors. very strange experience here. won’t be coming again.

We have stayed here on a few occasions and it is great location
It has lasped big time no irons now at all allowed in the rooms, breakfast. You would have more choices on hunger strike. The beds must of been bought on robin island horrible stone base beds worst ever.

the big room and the terrace, the olimpio check in staff were nice
we arrived at the antares entrance however we were told to go to the other hotel olimpo. which is part of the facility but never was clear while making the booking. the staff at the antares tend to be not welcoming and kind.

The breakfast wasn't that good. I was expecting to see some fresh cakes/ciambelle. The indications in that room and the method I think could improve. Too messy.

Excellent, big room.
Internet was very poor.

The room was with a view and the breakfast was superb with a variety of food options to choose from. You name it, you have it... from hot sausages and scrambled eggs to yoghurts and fresh fruit. Very good value for money in this aspect.
We booked with Hotel Antares but when we arrived there we were greeted with a note saying that we needed to phone a number as there was no sign of anyone at the hotel. We did arrive late in the night that day around 10.30pm but we were told that reception was 24/7 so that shouldn't have been a problem. It turned out that we needed to transfer ourselves to a different hotel (same chain) as this hotel was not open for the public even though we had received a confirmation for our booking. Good thing we were travelling with our own car and had a navigator. Another disappointment was that the hotel we were sent too needed refurbishment badly as it reminded me as though we were living in the 80's. Apart from this however everything was great.

We were told we got "upgrade" to sister hotel (Hotel Terraze) next to Hotel Antares. Lift to the beach. Spacious room. Terrace. Parking around the hotel.
Rude staff. Low variety of food at breakfast and I would say low quality food - we better went to make our own breakfast. Room equipment was old and very used (I was afraid bedside lamps would fall on my head). Noise from the other rooms.

All good
Breakfast could be better

Swimming pool is nice...unfortunately they close very early.
I was charged 15% more over Booking price. Breakfast is chaotic. Probably Covid is excuse for everything these days.

Good room wit lovely view.Breakfast cold food, not a large selection

Great views, comfortable and very clean. Staff kind and helpful. Good access to the town via a cable car and lift.
Nothing bad to say about the hotel. We were moved up into the Hotel Olimpio due to the off season seeing less guests. But it was better if anything.

Everything was amazing. The front desk staff were very helpful and responsive for our request, check-in was very quick. Well furnished, spacious rooms with good bathroom. The bed was like a cloud. Extraordinary landscape from the balcony. Wonderful breakfast selection and service, the food was delicious and offered much variety.
I just didn't want to leave, but will definitely be back.

Excellent choice, good food, great variety, friendly and always helpful staff. A lovely complex with a lot more to offer than a simple room. Also great value for money and they were kind enough to offer us a free baby bad even if we didn’t ask for it. Thank you!
It is visible that the hotel was not built today, nonetheless it’s still lovely and you can’t expect all hotels to be 2-3 years old

Total peace and nobody bothers you really safe and great for kids
