Beautiful place to stay. Great views!
There is construction going on in the main square

Lovely rooms in an historic building right in the old town of Arcos. Staff were super helpful. The views from the restaurant and the terrace are fantastic.
When we travelled there was major construction work going on in the square outside the hotel. Not at all the hotel's fault, of course, but it made parking more complicated than it would otherwise be and also caused a bit of noise. Once that's finished, I'm sure it'll all be back to normal and much quieter.

The view was good; the room was good
The dining experience was most disappointing. The dining room was virtually empty (though the Hotel was full ), in fact between 20.30 and 21.30 there was only one other table of 2 peopled used. The menu was poor, the choicest limited; and the food disappointing for what is meant to be a fine Parador. This perhaps explains why the restaurant was empty.
Also, though the Parador sent out messages welcoming us, instructions how to get the car to the car-parking would have been more use; and more signs in the Town would have been useful.

The corner room we booked had the most spectacular view from our private terrace! Breakfast is very generously proportioned, and we appreciated the option to have it in the room (which was large and comfortable). The Parador itself is a charming small boutique hotel—there’s a beautifully tiled courtyard with a small fountain and a well, and of course the wonderful views from the restaurant terrace.
We loved our stay and would certainly book again!

The location is excellent, though it is hard to get to once you are in the town of Arcos de la Frontera. Parking is extremely limited and the streets are very narrow and hard to navigate with anything but the smallest cars.
It is a government run hotel and it feels like it. The rooms are comfortable but dated. Service is indifferent and only a few can speak English well. Breakfast was nothing special. A lot of unhealthy meats and cheeses, old bread, a disgusting local dish that is just fried pig fat, and eggs fried in oil.

Spectacular location perched on top of a ridge upon which the rest of the historic town spills in either direction. Our room had a spacious balcony which afforded panoramic views over the mostly agricultural rolling countryside. Beautifully restored historic building, plentiful windows, gracious hallways and common areas indoors and out. Quiet rooms. Fabulous regional culinary offerings at breakfast and dinner. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location, lovely clean room, quick check-in
Air con went off during the night and no water in the morning early for some reason due to a problem. On checking out at 09:30 was told the water was just back on now.

Very nice location with a stunning view across the valley. Spending 20€ extra to get a room with balcony and view - just do it 😁
Spacious room with old Spanish interior could something 🤔
Arcos de la Frontera old town area is worth visiting, 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰

Although it was newer than many other Parador properties, Arcos de la Frontera still captured the feeling of historic and classic charm. Beautiful rooms, wonderful dining room with views, and the spectacular terrace provided a peaceful and luxurious environment.
Our air-conditioning was intermittent at best and essentially nonfunctioning.

fabulous location (but take their advice and do not drive to the hotel!), great views from terrace and room balcony, very good (if somewhat formal) service, very good wi-fi
beds were very hard and the food was average (though views from restaurant are great)

The view was incredible! And the old, historical building was wonderful. It really exuded the old, authentic Spanish feel.
Parking! It was very difficult to drive to the parador, in terms of the incredibly narrow streets, and there was limited parking at the hotel site. Good to consider parking below and walking up, but difficult with luggage.

Location amazing! The view is outstanding. The staff were very friendly and great.
The parking was a nightmare, although the receptionist was very helpful. Rooms a little tired - you are paying for the view.

The hotel is all about the location and views out over village or valley. Interesting small old-town - very Spanish. Room was good size and recently renovated. Note! Although built in old-style this is not one of the ancient Parador establishments that is often expected and does miss a bit of atmosphere that comes with the quirky old buildings they are often located in.
Was missing a decent bar to use in the evening. Not usually an issue when in Spain but Arcos is a small place and doesnt offer a significant range of evening options.
