Lack of general basics like water in the room .
it was 35 degree’s hot. They had mini bar but charges. Lack of sky tv in room only Spanish channels and no robes
Food was not good that’s our second stay husband won’t eat there

View from the room was fantastic, looking across the estuary to Portugal. Very spacious pleasant room with a seating area. Large bathroom with a great shower. Steps down from the room directly onto a lawned area by the pool. Pleasant bar area with views overlooking the estuary and an outside terrace.
Unfortunately the bed was VERY uncomfortable, with an extremely hard, old looking mattress. My husband was so uncomfortable he had to sleep on the sofa.

Food was fantastic, enjoyed an early pre dinner drink outside.
The grass area was very scruffy with muddy patches better that the grass is removed and the area paved!
For the size of the Superior room the bed was extremely small and we asked for the sofa bed to be made up on the second night twin beds would be ideal.

not the nicest Parador I’ve stay in but it was clean and had a lovely view
unfortunately because we were on Motorcycles some of the staff took a instant dislike to us and made us feel unwelcome

Beautiful hotel, lovely garden area and bar.
Room was spacious with lovely views.
Only one complaint, the mattress on the bed was too hard and could feel springs underneath making it very uncomfortable.

Amazing view of Villa Real and suspension bridge across the River Guardiana from the bedroom window
Breakfast. Luke warm eggs and bacon and very greasy

We definitely liked the view. Our room was great and immaculate. It was cleaned daily.
We did not have breakfast but heard from other guests that the breakfast was NOT value for money and was of poor quality.
This is the third time we have stayed at the Parador in Ayamonte. It is a great hotel and everyone extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing we were not happy with was the menu in the restaurant which had not changed on each occasion we have been at the hotel. There was very little choice and every time we asked for the duck that was on the menu we were told that this was not available. This has happened on each occasion we have stayed at the hotel. If it is not always available, then why have it mentioned on the menu? We both had the steaks which were not really appetizing at all and a disappointment considering the price of the meal. However, again the staff were really great.

Location. Large public area.
No tea making facilities in the room. No help with luggage. Lounge area very nice but at night overhead lights too bright. Lamps not used.
Restaurant food very poor.
5.0
position as we wanted to overlook the river.
no tea making facilities in the room, and weren’t informed when we questioned at reception that we could upgrade. Regimental on how we had to reserve our meals especially breakfast.
No plan on the layout of the facilities in the hotel, so the only way we could see to the pool was via a bar, which stopped us from using it.
As an elderly couple we were made to wait standing for our breakfast, whilst tables were being cleared, although we could clearly see there were tables available. No offers of different meals were offered, although, we saw some quests receiving hot meals after we had eaten.
Minibar only contained soft drinks.

Good room size, pleasantly decorated leading out to balcony with great view over the river to Portugal & down to the town of Ayamonte. Breakfast options were good together with restaurant food & wine very enjoyable with local Huelva Province options to the fore. A good sized pool & garden. A very enjoyable stay & would use again if in the part of the world again.
Hotel restaurant menu choices had a number of items unavailable. Perhaps some recommended taxi firm details to enable guests to leave the car in the hotel car park whilst enjoying the numerous dining options in the town. Basic Spanish useful for guests (which is sensible, it is Spain after all) since not all staff have fluency in English which can lead to misunderstandings, most of which are amusing but can sometimes be frustrating ( I contrast my experience in Portugese 4* hotel where the misunderstandings were much less).

Wonderful place ! Nothing we didn't like.

Breakfast was good. The staff should know however that tea should be served with boiling water and NOT lukewarm water. Lunch and dinner could be improved. Décoration and space
in the lobby and corridors very Nice.
The bedrooms would need to be freshned up. They are out of date.
