Amazing property - beautiful. Swimming pool would have been great to use but weather to cold ! Lovely breakfast, good parking and easy to walk into town

It was the most beautiful location with outstanding and wonderful service. I ate in the square so cannot comment on the food but the bar service was very good and the rooms outstanding. I cannot thank the reception staff enough for their exemplary service and the great sadness was not meeting Raquel with whom I had communicated by email and who was an Angel with the care she took to make my reservation and stay world class. Also the perfect stop half way down through Spain on anyone’s travels to the south. Well worth the effort of going off piste and ignore the average surrounds of Plasencia the Parador and all that surrounds it is in the old quarter and is stunning.

steeped in history it was a grand hotel with big open spaces and tasteful furnishings
very sloppy tiles in the steam/sauna/shower area
4.5
Historical building with very helpful staff.
Confort Level is outstanding.
Clean, spacious and confortable room. Good location, near Old City Center. Plenty of stores in the area.
WIFI works great,
Price of the breakfast never can be worthy.
For the price, parking underground should be included

A bit cold and uncomfortable in cold weather when bar closed

Atmosphere and architecture together with location near to centre
Nothing really

Amazing parador. The Bar de Noche was the best place for a nightcap I've ever experienced.
Staff in the restaurant could have been friendlier, but the food was very good.

Beautiful building.
Parking and finding the hotel is a nightmare. Book parking in advance, but very tight spaces.

The location was central
Access the parking wasn’t easy

A spacious pleasant experience typical of many Paradours. The bar food was good and varied. Parking via an extraodinary car lift was efficient , but challenging for a claustrophobic. Impresive swimming pool and sun area.
All fine and as expected

Excellent staff, good central location but easy to get to by car and on site parking available.

Our favourite parador so far. Full of historic character and charm with warm friendly service from nearly every staff member (unusual). We stayed for 3 nights and our superior double was wonderfully spacious with comfy sofa and enough chairs for our friends to sit with us. Very nice pool area. Really nice choice of food in bar/cafe (particularly recommend the avocado & tomato on toast), good restaurant in the refectory and enjoyable wine list.
Scary garage access for unconfident driver but happily we got a space just up from the garage entrance.

A really beautiful and comfortable property. Lovely pool and our room (superior) was superb. Some of the standard rooms by the pool looked quite small and dark...well worth going for superior. At night with the lights on the whole parador was amazingly atmospheric.
The dining staff were unfriendly. They were efficient but never smiled and one lady in particular when we asked for water was really quite hostile. As a consequence we only had breakfast...we had intended to have dinner there. All other staff were fine.
4.5
Wonderful setting and large comfortable room. Staff very helpful.
Restaurant food just not quite what I'd expected. Hard to put a finger on the problem but just not brilliant.

Ambiance, food, location, facilities, staff.
Nothing.

Beautifully restored old building with great style.
very clean.
Swimming pool.
Central position
Bed too narrow.
Shower over bath.
With one or two exceptions, staff unwelcoming and off-hand.
Having to pay extra for parking (albeit an excellent car park entered through a car lift.

This was our second stay at Plasencia Parador. The reception staff was lovely and so helpful. The room was good and quiet, though the last time we stayed there, the room was much nicer and bigger. Breakfast was good, as expected, really. We loved the little bamboo tongs we were given, to serve ourselves, due to Covid 19 measures. The beds and pillows were super comfy. Parking is excellent and I was given excellent instructions by the reception ladies who were very helpful. I was impressed by the protocols observed by the first aider by the pool. Every day at the same time he checked ph levels and other chemical tests, using proper equipment. A very efficient, well-mannered, and meticulous young gentleman. I would stay here again and again.
The pool is really shallow, but this is a minimal complaint. The quiet sunsets from my sunbed were unforgettable though !
