Wonderful, restored historical building. Very special. Lovely diningroom and delicious meal. What a treat to stay here while walking the Camino.

Beautiful old palace. Stuffed with antique furniture. In the center of the historic town.
We loved it

the size of the room was wonderful. the linens, the bathroom supplies and the big windows. and all the little special things to make it nice
the noise from nearby bars, the distance from the center of town and the streetlights

Lovely Parador in the historical area of Pontevedra, close to the Camino. Very nice staff, delicious, healthy breakfast and quiet… what more could one ask for?
Nothing!

Quiet, beautiful, historic hotel. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and clean. WiFi was good.
It was pretty expensive (compared to other accommodations available in Pontevedra and along El Camino). Room was pretty small.

the historical aspects of the property were surely interesting although there was no information given to us about it.
The staff was cordial when we arrived and asked us which breakfast time we’d like and then pointed towards the dining room, indicating where we’d go for
breakfast. We were handed our key and after 15 miles on the Camino, we carried our bags up the stairs to our room. When we were half way there, a staff member called up to us asking if we wanted help. 😳The room was over furnished with outdated pieces (not nice period stuff) and there was no place to put suitcases. When we came and went, receptionist would glance up at us but no greeting. Breakfast-completely picked over by first seating, not cleaned up or refreshed, we had to get up and ask the server for the hot items we wanted, including coffee, as they were busy resetting tables to hep guests? once asked they brought things but not without us getting up and asking each time. this happened both mornings we were there. Side note-we were not told by reception that the hotel served dinner at all, which would have been nice to know, nor that there was a garden for sitting outside , which we noticed as we were leaving the hotel at check out. What was meant to be a highlight of our Camino was disappointing.

Good location.
Disappointed with parking. Disabled parking free but was told I cannot use it even though I walk with difficulty with two sticks. I have had a disabled badge in UK for years but still waiting for my Spanish disabled badge.
Room very noisey from above, suggest invest in carpets to dampen noise.

Lovely building in a great location
The bed wasn’t v comfortable (it was similar to a camp bed) - it was really creaky whenever you moved which unfortunately made for a very disturbed night

Perfect location for pilgrims completing the Camino de Santiago.

A lovely old parador with a traditional feel - a beautiful building and comfortable rooms. Our floor made noise (the building is old, so this can't be helped), but hopefully it wasn't too much of an imposition on the people below us!
The staff were very perfunctory - the reception was quiet as we were checking in (that is, we had no customers waiting behind us), and yet the staff didn't tell us anything about the parador, and didn't tell us anything about Pontevedra itself, ask was it our first visit, wish us a pleasant stay etc... as the most expensive stay on our long tour around Galicia, it was the most underwhelming in terms of engagement with the staff. Had I asked something specific, I'm sure I would have been given the answer, but it's unusual to have no information, no map, no recommendations, no small talk... just took our passports and gave us our key.

Well located and overall good quality
Facilities are a bit old and lower than expected maintenance and renovation

place is AMAZING! simply sublime the structure of the place.
staff is kind and informative, and our room was the prettiest we’ve stayed in in our whole trip.

fabulous old building and staff were great
There is a bar close to the hotel that does not shut until 3 or 4am. The many customers spill out onto the pavement and party loudly making sleep almost impossible. The night desk called the police to make the ‘road quiet’ at 1am and 2am but they had limited success. If you are a light sleeper you should try somewhere else.

awful car park. tight spaces. people don’t care about damaging their cars in Spain.

The parador is a beautiful building with a nice garden and lounge.
I would have liked comfortable chairs in the garden.
