Mycket bra!

Decent hotel in a really great location, right down by the waterfront in (or right next to) an old brewery.
The staff is really great, very friendly and helpful. Even when we arrived at 01:00 am, the front desk manager was very friendly and efficiently checked us in.
There is parking right outside the hotel, however, it cost SEK 10/hour or, if you choose more than hours, SEK 80 for 24 hours.
The lobby appears to be serving snacks and beer all night (?), at least when we checked in some people had a beet there, and there are some games as well.
Some rooms have ocean/waterfront view but we just needed a place to crash we booked a "normal" room.
Be aware, some of the lower priced rooms apparently don't have windows, ours had 3 small windows, which you can open for fresh air.
The beds and bedding is comfortable and the room has a kettle as well as a working small minibar fridge.
The room has a iron box as well as a fan.
Breakfast buffet is what I would call, "Swedish Standard" (found more or less the same spread at a Scandic hotel last year), with English options (bacon, baked beans, pre-prepared scrambled eggs, boiled eggs),, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, yoghurt/fil, cereals as well as a "self service" waffle making station which is fun to use (and delicious) and of course decent coffee. Not sure if the have a la carte selection as well.
I had a few questions for the staff about locations, where to go etc., and also the daytime staff was really great, very efficient, and very friendly.
The room could have been cleaner. The room was quite dusty and some dirt in the corners. The towels are losing lot of lint and the inside of the bathroom door is covered in white lint.
On the bathroom floor was a small brown thing that looked like a dog treat and some hair and dirt in the corners, so I have to assume the room (or at least the bathroom) was not cleaned properly.
In Swedish hotels, it seems to be standard that the AC is always running, and in summer running "cold" so there was always a kind of unpleasant coldish airflow.
I tried switching off the AC but even when it showed "off", the AC was still running.

The location along the waterfront was superb. Nearby to some unique restaurants and bars. This includes Porter Pelle which hosts live music.
Just one single morning the orange and apple juice dispensers were cleared away before the end of the breakfast buffet period.

Breakfast was tasty
From the check in to check out a total mess.
Arrived in the evening, the person behind the counter did not care nor did he say a word at all
Room was old and without real sunlight. Even though it said room service had been done, nothing really nothing from soap to towels to tissues to coffee was filled. After first complain were nobody really cared a few things were refilled, most of it wasn’t so we had to ask again.
The so called bar did not offer coffee even though a machine was present, the gym had three treadmills making sounds like they are just about to break and the wellness was just closed. Mit body told I’m advance and during Check in.
This hotel is mot worth its money. Not coming back, not recommending!

We really loved the atmosphere of the hotel, the amazing night view to the water and the bridge, plus the excellent breakfast.
The staff is super friendly and supportive. Especially to mention Gina from the front desk! She made our wedding anniversary weekend unforgettable. Thank you.
The SPA area is not well cleaned.

Awesome helpful and friendly staff, especially Lina the breakfast manager, and Marcus at reception. Delicious breakfast with exceptional scrambled eggs. Historical building with interesting story. Water temperature and pressure don’t change when showering. Location is quiet with stunning views. Short walk to the tram stops and ferry. Parking was very convenient, safe and SEK80 per day. The Porter Pelle Pub and restaurant is just outside the front door. Highly recommend the fish soup which is more like a lobster bisque. Would definitely stay at Quality Hotel Waterfront whenever we visit Gothenburg.
The ashtray outside needs to be cleaned regularly. The Nordic Hotels app didn’t work so never received the daily F&B vouchers.

It was really good. I was in general in a much better hotel than hotels in Denmark at about the same price point.
