Great location and nice for couples or families

The location of the property is amazing, it’s a beautiful walk to the main port area. There is a good system that when you come off or go to the ferry the hotel will take your bags and you can then walk to the ferry port. The breakfast was fabulous, lots of choice. Always a sun bed available somewhere at the pool.

If you have mobility problems, there is a lot of walking up and down steps and lifts to get around

El desayuno súper completo. Tienen un servicio gratuito que te buscan las valijas en el ferry (también te las llevan) Esta muy bien ubicado y tiene muelle propio para salir de las excursiones desde el hotel.

Desapareció mi anillo de boda

DESAPARECIÓ de la habitación mi anillo de boda. És una pena , pero hemos quedado 5 noches en el hotel y después de 3 días he pedido que limpiasen mi habitación. Y cuándo vuelvo del desayuno, mi anillo no estaba en el lavabo. El hotel no nos dio ningún soporte. Solo dijo que no se hacían responsables por las pertenencias. Por lo demás el hotel fue perfecto, nos gustó todo. Pero no dejéis nada de valor en la habitación.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed all of the facilities at this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon for 3 nights. The staff upgraded us to a bigger room upon arrival, which was a very nice surprise! We enjoyed the pool and had no problem finding chairs. We enjoyed the breakfast that was included. The hotel is in a great location, just about a 15 minute walk from the town. We loved using the luggage transfer service when we left and were able to grab our luggage very conveniently when we got to the ferry port.

We didn't know about the luggage transfer service prior to arrival so unfortunately we had to bring our heavy bags to the hotel (google maps took us the longer/steeper route). So it would have been nice to know about the service prior to arrival but it wasn't a huge deal!

Fun hotel that really added to the overall Hvar experience with the availability of the pool.

Great location, fantastic pool facility, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, the baggage service to and from the ferry area is very helpful.

There were ants in our room, the wifi was virtually no existent inside of our room, and the workout room room was incredibly disappointing. Broken equipment, not enough equipment, and a tiny room relative to the size of the hotel and guest population.

Con potenziale ma deludente mi aspettavo di più

Posizione ottima per chi vuole visitare Hvar. Carina la piscina, per rilassarsi in tempi morti e la vicinanza alla spiaggia. Abbiamo fatto una bella escursione in kayak, pagando 69 euro per l’intera giornata.

La struttura non era adeguatamente pulita e manutenuta, la moquette della stanza molto sporca, abbiamo trovato anche un pacchetto di patatine vuoto in camera. In generale l’albergo sembra non avere un piano di manutenzione adeguato. Mi aspettavo molto di più visto quanto pagato. Inoltre non c’è alcun tipo di animazione in struttura, attività organizzate dalla struttura in struttura.

Heerlijk verblijf!

Prachtig resorthotel met een nog mooier uitzicht! Op loopafstand van het stadje (10min) via een pittoresk wandelpad langs zee. Het zwembad is mooi aangelegd en er zijn voldoende ligbedjes.

The ocean view from our room, breakfast was great and the staff were friendly

Could have been clearer about picking up cases to and from the ferry, as an included service. We were only aware of this on return and noticed other guests doing the same.

First time in Hvar

great location

The sofa bed in our family suite was badly positioned as was permanently set up as a bed for our eldest and could not walk around it to get to the other bedroom because of other furniture. it was also a very uncomfortable sofa bed and we had to request an extra mattress. the pool bar was great but the staff were very slow and sometimes would disappear after taking our order and not come back. Despite the above criticisms, it is a good hotel in a great location and for the most part the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very disappointing level of service and facilities for the 5 star prices (400 euros per night per room).

Has a decent pool and very good breakfast

Tiny rooms, no private beach or sun beds allocated to hotel at nearby beach, had to return towels to the pool area and couldn’t leave in your room, no vanity kit in the rooms.

Highly recommend

Close to main restaurants and port. You can leave your luggage with staff at the port, so you don’t need to carry to the hotel. Facilities are great, the pool, staff, room. No fault whatsoever.

Great pool, situated near a lovely little beach. Easy walk into Hvar old town and the ferry. Loved that the hotel meets the ferries and collects luggage.

It is a maze inside with very little signs. We struggled to find our room and we’re very far from reception. Hotel staff are lovely but if you need something fixed/delivered it takes multiple calls before anyone comes. Not ideal especially when the aircon is broken.

Incredible resort stay with a wonderful pool and great beach access! Amfora a upgraded us to a two bedroom suite with balconies and it could not have been nicer of them! We also love how they arrange to take your bags to and from the ferry port as the short walk to the hotel from the ferry port is steep.

Loved my stay at Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort. It was very quiet, as the season was just starting, but still had a pleasant atmosphere. Room was spotless, location perfect for the old town and staff were all lovely. I would stay again!

Beautiful if you get a nice room!

First night the air conditioning system dripped on my friend and there was a strange smell and stain by my bed so we mentioned it to staff with no expectations and got immediately moved to a penthouse which was probably one of the most beautiful rooms I've ever stayed in! The staff went above and beyond for us, very kind and helpful.

The first room, was quite tight for three beds and there was a vomit stain and unpleasant smell by my side of the bed. Also the air conditioning system dripped on my friend through the night, so impressed at the customer service following our complaints, but still surprised they'd let paying customers in a room like that in such a high end hotel. Aside from that, all was fab!

Nice and clean room, lovely pool area, great breakfast buffet and very convenient pic up service for the bags at the port

It is a very large hotel complex with a lot of guests, and quite noisy from the corridors
