Perfect experience and great staff. Take a room with sea view. Location can’t be better, its in the middle of Hvar town - everything is walking distance. Special thanks to Gabriel

Breakfast food is amazing and the open deck restaurant is right next to the waterfront!
Since it is in the old town, guests won’t be able to drive to the hotel entrance. Rather, you would meet with the hotel porter at the bus station where they will take your luggage with a cart and you would walk from the bus station to the hotel (4 mins).
Multiple parking options near the bus station, the cheapest being 4 euro for a wholeday!
Pickup location/method not clearly explained in reservation email; had to call them upon arrival. Google Maps also pins the hotel at a weird/wrong location, so please make sure you set GPS to/from the bus station if you go there by rental car (which is likely the best transportation method) from Split (using the car ferry).
Restaurants at old town are limited and all pricey. The restaurant in the hotel doesn’t offer reserved seats foe hotel guests. My recommendation would be the one next door (to the right when you exit the hotel).

Breakfast was incredible as was the spa and amenities. Our room was small but utilized the space well and was very comfortable. The staff was incredible and very helpful. We loved our stay here and would definitely go back again!

Location and staff service and promptness as our ferry got cancelled and before we had information from ferry company the hotel informed us , which allowed us to take an earlier ferry
Room layout, bathroom and WC and sink are in different areas which is weird

It was a gorgeous hotel right on the water. The view of the town and the water was AMAZING!!! And a bar on the top floor was also the best view

This hotel is all about the location and the great staff and outdoor space. The new pool and outside seating / loungers were a great bonus. Breakfast on the terrace next to the boats was magical. The room was smallish .. though probably felt smaller because our previous hotel room was huge but the view made up for it entirely . We could hear the music from the concerts until the early hours but I think that comes with the territory in Hvar town centre. The black out blinds and double glazing helped a good nights sleep regardless.
The pool is spectacular though a little chilly… and the bar had superb. Views but the gentleman working in that area was not very friendly/ helpful.

Our family of five ( 2 seniors, 3 adult children) were greeted at the ferry by the hotel porters who were fantastic in taking all of our bags and then greeted us at the hotel with a glass of Prosecco, a lovely touch. Check in was swift and efficient and the rooms - WOW! We were lucky enough to have rooms overlooking the port of Hvar which is such a beautiful view. Also, the Top Bar is an amazing venue and modestly priced. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Port is great with a full buffet available and a la carte options also available. The staff are friendly and welcoming and we couldn't have had a better stay. Fabulous place!
Unfortunately, one of waiters at the Top Bar was quite rude, unsmiling and unfriendly. All others were magnificent. It's a shame that just one spoils it for all.

Breakfast was amazing, we also ate in the restaurant one evening and we couldn’t fault it, food and service was exceptional. We loved the spa facilities and the rooftop terrace.
The rooms were small, we had a harbour view and it was quite noisy in the evenings but not enough to ruin our stay

People were absolutely wonderful from the moment they met my ferry to take our bags to the hotel. Checkin was a breeze and everyone was very accommodating. From the valets, front desk and restaurant staff, all were very component and professional. I left a charger in the room when I went off to the next island, it was a unique charger that I could not easily replace. I called the hotel, they hand found the charger and got it on the next ferry to me. It was a huge lifesaver.
Wifi never worked right for our devices and they were not able to resolve. It works easily at every other property we visited so do not think it was us. They do not have a password on their wifi access which really should not be the case n 2022. Would have been nice to have a smart TV for winding down before bed. Even just watching CNN, the picture cut in and out. Room was very cramped

This hotel is highly rated and I can see why in some regards - the best thing it has going are the views. If you manage to score a room with a view to the port it is outstanding. You can watch people come and go from your window and watch the ships and boats come into the bay. You can also see much of the nightlife happening below you on any given night.
No outdoor pool but fantastic options for sunbaking if that's your thing. Great views from the sunbeds too. Nice to have a bar on the same rooftop to drink and snack. Breakfast was ok, options weren't great. Food was very average. Room can be noisy due to clubs in the vicinity but it didn't bother us at all - make sure you close the shutters for extra quiet.
The staff are not super helpful. On arrival I asked front desk if there were beaches near by so I didn't have to pay AUD$500 for a day of beach club sunbeds and they sent me on a wild goose chase saying you had to catch a boat to get to a beach - when in fact there were beaches all around.
Cleaning is awful - one of the the days the cleaners left dirty towels and rags in the shower and sink of our room and didn't bother coming back for them. They never quite cleaned properly and it drive me nuts.
I managed to snag sunbeds for hubby and I on the rooftop and he left to nap - I went to the restaurant bar and asked for a drink and snacks and they were so rude to me I vowed not to spend another dollar at the hotel. I was barked at and then when I asked if I could order something I was told I would have to pay upfront as they don't do tabs. They also said "you need to come and get your own drinks, we don't have service outside".
Later that afternoon I saw the same staff members not only run tabs for others (I asked people around me) but bring them drinks on trays and clean up after them.
Another night we asked to drink at their restaurant bar so we could smoke our cigars and they made a huge song and dance about paying upfront. They asked us to move. They huffed and puffed about the drinks and that they will take ages to arrive. It all just seemed a bit too hard.

Overlooking the beautiful marina at Hvar, our sea view room was a good size, plenty of storage space and a wonderful view! Breakfast on the terrace was a delight, the staff are superb and can’t do enough for you. Excellent choice and all food was outstanding as was the service. Top bar the drinks and food were all excellent and again superb service. A great view from up here and a nice relaxed feel. Pool and loungers were so quiet and a joy to use when the weather was so hot. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, beach towels are available which is a great perk.
The noise at night when the party folk rolled back, such a lively place after hours. Got used to it after a night or two, if you want a quieter experience perhaps don’t choose the sea-view.

beautiful property, fantastic location in the harbor
I’m convinced the room layout was designed by a man. the blow dryer is attached to the wall in a closet drawer that is across the hall from the nearest mirror. you can either blow dry your hair or you can look in the mirror, but you can’t do both at the same time. the desk meant to do your makeup is in this same hallway, which has terrible lighting and just a small 10 inch mirror (the big mirror is across the hallway). the bathroom has nowhere to store any toiletries. no drawers or any real counter space. at the very least they could install a ledge underneath the mirror? the shower door was too big and did not fully close. it also opened out into the room, so after a shower all the water would be swept into the room.
basically, some poorly thought out practicalities, even if the aesthetics of the room are beautiful.

the bathroom - not enough space for two people and strange configuration in room.
