Wir haben gut im Hotel schlafen können und konnten so ausgeruht die Heimreise antreten

Positiv war auf alle Fälle, dass der Parkplatz und Wlan im Preis mit inbegriffen war. Lage war auch in Ordnung, wir waren relativ schnell fußläufig in der Altstadt von Kolding und nach 6 Stunden Autofahrt eine nette Abwechslung. Wir haben uns über ein TV Angebot in Deutsch sehr gefreut und haben gut in den Betten geschlafen . Es gab ein Schwimmbad.

Definitiv die Sauberkeit in der Naßzelle. Schimmel in den Fugen, Haare vom Vorgänger und an der Spüle waren noch Wasserrände zu sehen. Es war staubig in den Ecken und da es keine Klimaanlage gab, hätten wir uns über ein Fliegengitter im Fenster gefreut, damit man auch abends das Fenster aufmachen kann. Auf dem Weg zum Schwimmbad sind uns an den Fenster Innenseite und Ecken Spinnenweben aufgefallen. Im großen und ganzen ist es ein sehr nettes Hotel aber was die Sauberkeit angeht, verbesserungsfähig.

Urimelig regelsæt

Super sød imødekommende mand der tog i mod os i receptionen. Tjenerne i aften restauranten er lige ledes super søde og imødekommende. Morgenmaden er helt i top og med et kæmpe udvalg.

Vi rejste med kæledyr. Og havde booket hotel efter dette. Comwell har en helt urimeligt tilgang til kæledyr og man får udleveret et ark med regler som ingen steder står beskrevet når man booker værelset via booking.com Dette blev heller ikke oplyst i bekræftelsen men først da vi ankom. Hund skal holdes så meget som mulig i bur på værelset. Havde vi vist dette ville vi aldrig have valgt Comwell. Og kommer da heller ikke til det igen.

No telephone to call the reception. We wrote in the notes to the online booking that we will b bringing a little dog. They confirmed the booking and the same day we were to arrive they told us that all their pet rooms were booked so we couldn’t bring our dog in either of our 2 rooms. Cancelling booking would cost over a 1000kr so our dog had to stay in the car. Not informing us right after the booking was v unprofessional of them.

Our motorcycle route through Europe

The staff boiled water for our noodles at 2AM.

The bathroom was very small and there were no heating on the floors, so it wet motorcycle gear did not dry.

Great hotel!

The hotel has many endearing qualities, among which we count first and foremost the good quality of the bed. The room was spacious and well furnished. The hotel has a great concept regarding details, be they practical or simply convenient/comfortable. For example, this is the only hotel we have found which provides an elevated spot for two suitcases next to each other in a two person room. This has been really useful and we are big fans of this. Other hotels, take note! It is just common sense: Two People = Two Suitcases 🙂 The hotel has a big parking lot, with free parking for the duration of your stay. This makes traveling there by car so much easier, since there is no hassle with finding a parking spot nearby. The breakfast offers a wide variety of different tasty food, and the breakfast hall is kept in a modern and lofty style, the same as the rest of the hotel. A great focus is also put on sustainability by the hotel which is very important to us.

The only positive thing I can say: The Kolding hotel, which I was given as an alternative, is very good and extremely well located, right in the center of Kolding. When I return to Kolding I have no doubt I will stay there again.

In reality I shouldn't rate this hotel because I never got to go there, but I think it's important to share my experience: I booked a room for the night of November 24th through Booking.com on September 27th. Two months in advance! I exchanged several messages with the hotel about my late check-in. On the 24th of November, when I was boarding the plane to Copenhagen and at an hour when I could already be checking in the hotel, I received a message saying that there had been an error with my reservation and the hotel was fully booked with a conference, so they would find me an alternative hotel.

Very basic hotel but with a good pool and sauna

The location is rather good, a good 15 minutes walk to the center, which proved necessary inasmuch when we entered the hotel restaurant where we had placed a reservation we were escorted to the bar by a waiter who said that only guest on a full board can have dinner there. The bar menu was fixed, not a-la-carte thus we left. Swimming pool big with a good sauna, the most positive part of our stay.

The rooms are extremely basic, hostel-level: no furniture close to the bed, no safe, no fridge, no ironing, no coffee-making facilities. Wifi almost not-existent. The lift looks and sound as if it will fall down any moment. There is a game room but the tools to play table tennis aren't there, nor are the darts. Dirty bathroom with someone else's hair.

Price did not reflect comfort at all.

Breakfast was great, good choice of freshly made bread, fruits and more. This, for us, was the only pleasant experience of our stay.

It's summer and it's warm, we understand this very well, but the air in the room was so dry and stale that we had to open a window at night, which allowed fresh, cooler air into the room. Unfortunately, there was a trailer outside with a cooling machine that went off every 30 minutes or so, despite us being a few floors up, this really kept us from having sufficient rest. I think I slept for a total of 4 hours or so, which after a day of driving and another day of driving ahead of us was not enough for us. Honestly, I don't understand why that machine was allowed near the hotel in the first place seeing the noise it made. On top of this, to add to our dissapointment, we had to pay 250DKK just to have our 2 dogs with us in the room (they wanted to charge us 2x 250DKK fee, can you believe that?). I think this price is crazy high and this could have been clearer from the start. Had we known, we would have looked for an alternative and probably actually slept.
