I have stayed here several times while visiting friends in Langenfeld. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and well situated. The breakfast is good and the scrambled eggs that are made to order are excellent. The manager gave us a better room with a balcony, and also a kettle for tea/coffee. We were also able to use the underground car park for our rental car.

Order, new towels every day, a large pillow, room for a bag and a beautiful large mirror!
A bit too noisy from cars during the day, quiet at night :)

Best part was that there were a couple of English language stations on the TV which is very rare in Germany. Room was a good size.
There was nothing else to like here.
My room was over a Chinese takeaway so the room, sheets & curtains stank of this. Therefore could not open the windows on that side of the room unless I wanted to smell that way. Although I had asked for a quiet room when booking & when advising on check in time, I was laughed at by the hotel manager. My colleagues got quiet rooms at rear of hotel (One who hadn't requested it). The hotel is at a busy intersection that was very very close to the road. The sheets weren't cotton so when there is no air conditioning and you cannot open windows you don't sleep due to perspiration & itching. In the three nights I stayed there I got a total of 7 hours sleep & when you are in heavy all day meetings this doesn't help. The leatherette headboard on my bed was pitted and ripped so must have harboured bacteria from other patrons. The shower had no spread of water & was akin to standing under a tap. There are no hangers in the rooms for you to hang trousers or a jacket, only blouse hangers available. There is no foyer in this hotel & reception is a cubby hole that does not open to its stated times. There is a Booking.com sign as you enter that states an 8.6 rating. I would give this place a "0.1". There was a trade show in Dusseldorf which drove us (6 rooms) to this hotel from our usual one and was way over priced. None of us or anyone else from our company will visit this place again!

The location is great, just a stone's throw from the shopping area. I stayed over a weekend, the hotel was very quiet but in a nice way. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was also fairly new and sparkling clean.
The breakfast was fair value for EUR 10, freshly cooked eggs, a selection of meats and cheeses, preserves and spreads for bread. There were sufficient bread rolls and wholemeal bread, coffee and tea.
The opportunity to make coffee or tea in the room would make the stay much more comfortable. A carafe of water is provided, but I love my tea in the morning!
The bed was too soft for my liking, but that's a personal issue.
The shower does not have a curtain, which means that water inevitable lands on the floor tiles or the floor mat.
The light in the room was not bright enough to be able to apply my make-up in the mirror and the mirror in the bathroom, although well lit, was just too far away me to really see what I was doing (I'm short-sighted). This is an issue in most hotel rooms, unfortunately.

Good location for what I needed. Plenty of shops and restaurants in area. Fairly quite location but plenty to do nearby.

It was a lovely hotel and the staff was great. The accommodations were comfortable.
I would have appreciated different option of pillows but other than that, it was fine.

Check in was easy and the staff were nice
The room smelled of cigarettes, was very outdated and the mattress was too hard for my liking

Everything is nice

Relatively large room with separate entry room and bathroom attached to the entry room. Very clean and comfortable. Good coffee.
The breakfast was fairly limited. The heating in the room was quite cold.
