good place for an overnight stay

great location

very old rooms, furniture was in a bad condition, the bad was moving a lot, walls full of scratches and dirt and the carpet on the floor that was covering the entire floor did not look clean. was not too bothered cause we stayed only for one night but it does not seem comfortable for more.

Locatie centrala, personal minunat!

Hotelul este in modernizare, anumite lucruri sunt foarte ok, altele mai au nevoie de imbunatatiri. Camera a fost mare, generoasa, cu un pat dublu mare, confortabil, cu lenjerii foarte curate. Mobila este relativ noua, daca nu te deranjeaza culorile tari (de ex albastrul, peste tot in camera), te simti foarte bine. Aer conditionat, care nu bate direct spre pat, ceea ce e excelent. Baile sunt ok, cu cabina de dus. Micul dejun a fost bun, bufet suedez cu tot ce vrei sa mananci clasic (oua, cremvursti, aperitive, cereale, dulceata). Parcarea e destul de mica pentru capacitatea hotelului, dar noi am gasit loc. Exista si statie de incarcare pentru electrice, cu doua locuri chiar in fata intrarii. Personalul este foarte foarte amabil: receptie, parcare, restaurant, toata lumea s-a purtat foarte frumos cu noi! Multumim! Locatia este cea mai buna din Drobeta, daca te intereseaza sa fii cazat in oras si nu la liniste si departe de lume, chiar in centru si pe malul apei, esti fix in buricul orasului. La doi pasi de Dunare si de un magazin duty-free...! ;-)

Exteriorul trebuie refacut si in jurul hotelului merita imbunatatari, este pacat de acest hotel, care in vremea lui de glorie trebuie sa fi fost o perla turistica!

Hotel in bester Lage jedoch in Renovierung

Wir besuchen seit Jahren dieses Hotel. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Der Domplatz und die Altstadt sind in Minuten zu erreichen.

Wir haben dieses Hotel immer wegen des schönen Außenpools und des Restaurants im Freien gewählt. Diesmal waren der Pool und das Außenrestaurant in Renovierung. Die Etagen 8 bis 12 werden immer noch renoviert. Weiterhin wird die alte Reithalle renoviert. Baulärm! Wir kommen erst wieder wenn die Renovierungsarbeiten abgeschlossen sein werden.

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, gute Lage. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet.

Leider war der Außenpool noch nicht geöffnet, was zu dieser Jahreszeit aber auch hinnehmbar ist.

Timisoara faina, hotel Continental - nu recomand .

micul dejun. cost ridicat la ora 10 se scot din priza vitrinele cu mancare si automatul de cafea, dupa care se strang. daca ai ghinionul sa te prinda la masa nu mai poti sa serveani nimic si trebuie sa le suporti zogotele ai disperarea de a strange si a debarasa sala de mese. jignitor pentru client care plateste oricum foarte mult pentru micul dejun, oricum saracios pt pretentiile de 4 stele ( surprinzator). Iar bonus la nota de plata a fost parcarea in parcarea hotelulu, parcare care se plateste separat. La etajele superioare este santier si...odihneste te, daca poti.

Good location, in the centre of the town. Nice swimming pool. Big private parking.

The room was old fashioned. The extra bed wasn’t comfortable at all. The hotel needs to be refurbished, it looks like in the early ‘90’s.

The location right in the city was great, facilities were excellent, they even have a strip club in the basement, but i just loved the outdoor pool

Fantastic

The staff is so efficient and polite, from reception guys to cleaning staff. Clean, superb well located.

It is a bit old fashioned, but this does not affect the general score. For instance, few sockets to plug all devices we take with us.

Value for money stay in Timisoara

Location and parking was nice. The room size was fine, and the furnitures were okay, the lift was operating.

Bathrobes and slippers were way too small, and the bathrobes were very old. We had numerous breakfast options, but in general the breakfast did not scream "4star hotel". Unfortunately, only on of the bubble baths were operating in the wellness area

Location was great. The hotel reception and room were outdated, in need of an update. There was a bug in the room and some hair on a towel in the bathroom. The mattress wasn't very comfortable and it was very very hot. We have turned off the heating and it was still hot.

The receptionists seems scared to interact with us and we rarely saw anyone there.
