Nice and cozy feel, not huge but certainly big enough.
Views from balcony stunning.
Pool, jacuzzi all spectacular.
Breakfast inclusion was also great.
Bar downstairs made even better as you are able to self-serve.
Additional costs for certain things like use of an iron seemed unnecessary. In all of my stays across low-cost accommodation to more higher-end I've never experienced being charged extra for such a thing. (Cost was small 1.50 euros but still felt a bit cheeky to me)

Liked the staff. Location decent to old town. Pool area nice. Breakfast spread was very good too. Shower in room was massive and really good too.
Itemised charges for everything. Hidden charges really. To use the iron your charged to even play pool you're charged. The bar is self service but you write down what you get. So at the end of the trip there is another bill as you check out. ✔️

We expected a hotel room but were instead allocated a top class villa which was massive and luxurious.
More than expected and first class accommodation.

Exceptionally clean hotel. We got a free upgrade on the room, which was a really good size. Peaceful inside and out, including the pool area. Very friendly, helpful staff. An honesty bar with snacks and drinks, which was great out of hours or round the pool. The hotel has a trusting atmosphere for it's guests which makes you feel welcome. We would stay here again :-)
Slightly further out of town than we expected and as it was so hot when we stayed there, a bit too far to walk to the main areas on this occasion (not when it's slightly cooler).....however, taxis are cheap (5/6€ to town) and are in abundance so little waiting and cheap to get around. We definitely would stay at the hotel again :-)

This place is like a dream. It is located in a complex of villas and when the sun set sky becomes flashy pink and you can see it from the facility. The cleanliness is impeccable and it is just the type of place that is unbelievably beautiful. You might find places that are cheaper but this is actually the cheapest for the quality it offers. The bed was king size sparkling clean bedding towels crystal while. Waste no time to look further this is it!

Good sized room in a small but friendly hotel - everything worked.
Location is right at the top of the hill - Cerro in the name should be a reminder - it would not suit someone with mobility issues.
Water temperature for shower and tap was very variable - from cool to hot in 10 seconds.

we had a room that overlooked the pool the setting was idyllic with the two palm trees coming out of the swimming pool and the Sun setting in the distance breakfast was a good selection the bathroom was excellent facilities very good all round
There could’ve been an up lighter in the room such as an IKEA up lighter to blow light across the ceiling as it was quite dark

extremely clean & tidy, high hygiene rules. friendly staff, beautiful garden & spa area. recommended if you look for a quiet place to stay in hectic Albufeira. recommended. breakfast sufficient, plentiful.
a bit rough uphill walk, works if you are not tired. could be a challenge if you are in hurry or tired at the end of the day. luckily taxis are affordable there.

Great small hotel. I have no idea why it is classed as a 3 star rather then 4 star. Lovely pool and sunbathing area set in grass, jacuzzi, pet friendly. Set in an upmarket residential area. If you stay do book their dinners as they have a superb lady chef.
A little bit far out for access to the beach ⛱️ and main central area of Albufeira but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing as the pool was so inviting and the centre of Albufeira is in my opinion a bit tacky.

The staff were wonderful from reception through to restaurant employees. I had to prepare some work documents and the reception staff helped with printing and computer access which is available on site for free. I even stayed well beyond my checkout time to complete the work with no issues/complaints from the staff. I also had a wonderful massage and facial with Paula which went well over time. Highly recommend this hotel!
There was nothing I didn’t like but I would point out that it’s not a modern hotel… definitely very colourful… very Portuguese which I loved. Staff and clientele all lovely. So relaxing and quiet.

Your coffee at breakfast is awful - you need to upgrade to a machine that makes coffee to taste like coffee.

All perfect, nothing to complain about.
15 mins walking from center, but yet deserves 10 points.

If you're looking for a stunning, almost tropical getaway then Cerro Da Marina Hotel is for you! The gardens are exceptional, the rooms are large with incredible views and the hotel is glamourously decorated. It has a 5 star feel with kind staff and charming features you'd expect from a luxury resort. The fact they allowed my pets to stay just made my mini-break that much better. The on-site spa is amazing- the best massage I have ever had!! I really cannot recommend this place enough. I will be making this an annual trip.

The view, spacious terrace, nice pool and jacuzzi.
Specific smell from the drain in the toilet. The breakfast could’ve been better organized with the Covid protocols.

We got a fantastic deal as we stayed during the off season, and altogether it was very worth it. Staff were very welcoming to us and our little dog, Room had a beautiful view of the pool and ocean - absolutely stunning to watch the sunset. Breakfast was simple but yummy- I loved the fresh pastries and seasonal fruits! As it was quiet, the bar was a self-service honesty based system which I actually liked. It gave the whole experience a homely, BnB feel and we loved it!
It is of course our fault for visiting in the winter/spring, however as the weather was sunny, it could have been nice if the jacuzzi was just a few degrees hotter. It was slightly too cold to enjoy. Another thing to be aware of is that this hotel is not in the centre of Albufeira, it's about a 5-10 minute walk away. It was perfect for us as we enjoy to walk but something to bear in mind for those who are a bit less mobile.
